A Tremendous Story

Mariusz Trynka brings the science to science fiction and makes you wonder about the real overlap between truth and fiction.

Elías is a deep thinker, a scientist, a philosopher, an ultimate fix-it type who struggles to tap into his emotions and live in the present. When he bumps into a curiosity, he pursues it, to the point of being faced with questions about time, reality, control, trust, and the end of the world as we know it. But no spoilers here—it’s too good to give away any of the twists and turns and surprise ending!

While sci-fi, at its core, I also do see this book as a love story, one where the main character needs to discover what’s most important in his life and how best to love those he cares about. Highly recommended for anyone interested in high level mathematics, realities of time and space, artificial intelligence, and dystopian societies.

This was incredible

This was incredible. No other way to put it. I was hooked the whole time. The descriptions were ambient and spooky while maintaining a sophisticated tone.
The writing combined with how thought provoking the plot is made this for a really fun read, even if science fiction isn’t your first choice. Highly recommend.
