What do you do when your entire world is turned upside down? When loss is so all-consuming that it feels like it's going to swallow you whole.
We won, but at a cost so consuming we couldn't survive. They all left me, and when you're so broken that you don't even know how to gather the pieces back together, it allows new demons to come in. I was lucky enough to receive an advanced reader copy of this book. This book picks up where the first book left off and takes you on a journey of strength and healing. The path these characters go down faces many struggles that are super relatable and it was a book I literally couldn't put down. The love these character have for each other show what true love is really about. I am anxiously waiting for book 3!

Changing Me is the 2nd book in the Breaking Me Series by Ruki Williams.
Changing Me picks up right where Breaking Me, the first book in this series, left off and we are taken on this stunning journey of not only strength but also healing. Remi and Colt and all our other characters go down a path and are forced into facing a lot of different struggles, struggles that we would face in our day to day lives. The love between Remi and Colt is undeniable, it's clear to be seen in their actions and everything they do for each other. These two characters are so beautiful together and I absolutely love them.
This book is such a beautiful roller-coaster ride, there were so many places that had me crying, or I was mad and then in other places I was happy. This book will take you through all your feels and by the end you are going to be emotionally exhausted.
I will also say that this is a Dark Romance, Suspense. Remi goes on her own journey of pain and she has to walk that journey and find a way to heal and I found that this is really very relatable to journeys that we all have to walk at times in our own lives.
I can't wait to get my hands on the 3rd book in this series. This has been such a relatable, gut wrenching, emotional series and I have greatly enjoyed every moment of it.
If you enjoy relatable characters who are well rounded, well developed, and continue to grow and have great arcs along with gut wrenching emotional moments then this is a series that you are going to want to read. You do need to read it in order:

I just finished reading Changing Me just a bit ago and I Loved It!! One of my top favorite reads of the year. I'll tell you this right now it was an emotional rollercoaster but in a good way. I was crying, I was mad, and I was happy. Changing Me is book 2 in The Breaking Me series and it's really good. It is also Dark Romance/Suspense. Remi's journey through pain and finding ways to heal is very relatable. There are trigger warnings at the beginning of this book so don't skip over them. This book series is rough but I swear it's a good read. Can't wait for book 3!!

The second book in the Breaking Me series may break you into little pieces and put you back together over and over. The challengers that Colt and Remi go through will have you wondering where their story will go next.
All the hurt, pain, tears, and moments of happiness captivated me and left me wanting so much MORE!!! This book had me begging for Remi to get it together and wanting to hug Colt so hard!!! Ughhhhh the feels!
Be warned as the cliffy is not gentle and you may hit a few boulders on your way over!

What more can these two go through? When you thought the first book took them through so much you pick this book up and are just blown away by all the things that happen! I cried, screamed, and was so shocked on how this one played out. I love these characters in this book. Ruki just makes you feel all the emotions in her writing. I love her books. I can’t wait for the next one to see if they will ever get the happy ever after. How much more will they have to go through?

Loved loved loved this book! Changing Me picks up right where book 1 Breaking Me ends and this made me so very happy. I loved book 1 but this book had me on the edge of my seat, hot, anxious, fearful, and "wtf Remi?!" all in one. I didn't ever want to put the book down and am super excited for book 3! I. Need. More. Now!

I cried! like wept through most of this book! the story was so good. I felt all the emotions of sadness, disappointment, encouragement, shock, and also love. Ruki has made these characters your friends, your siblings, your family. it was such a wonderful read! this series is absolutely amazing!!!

I cried and I laughed. This book was just everything and more. I could not ask for a better continuation to the first book. Ruki has hit another one out of the park. Colt and Remis have just made me fall in love with their story and I can't wait to see what happens next.
