Beyond the Winter Kingdom: A Fae Romantasy

Rate this book
Faerie was a nightmare—twice kidnapped, magically bound, and held captive by my fated mate. But Eversus? That’s where the real party starts. And yes, I RSVP’d like an idiot.

Sadie’s gone. Vanished without a trace. And the only lead we have points to a realm no sane person dares to a pit of smoke and ash, ruled by demons and forgotten gods. A place no fae survives.
Eversus.

Vareck—the fierce, brooding King of Faerie—is determined to be my plus one into the twin hells. He says we’re bonded. That I belong to him.

But I didn’t ask for a mate. And I had no intention of catching feelings in the middle of a hellscape.

Together, we’ll brave the realm of monsters to bring my sister home. But the deeper we go, the more I wonder if I'm the one who won’t make it back.

When a world fights to devour us, his voice is the thread I hold on to.

Because some bonds burn brighter in the dark.

And it turns out, some monsters aren’t left behind—they come with you.

*Beyond the Winter Kingdom is sarcastically funny, fantasy romance novel with steam. This is book two in the Faeted Winter trilogy.*

Hiya! Couple of things from the author(s). . .

1. This is the second book in the Winter trilogy, which means not everything will be wrapped up just yet. Gotta wait for book 3 to have that. Between the Twin Realms (book 3) is underway but we won't put it up for preorder until the draft is finished.

2. We’ll be doing every season starting from winter. Each season is a different couple. While there is an over arching story across the planned 8-9 books, each season will wrap up that individual couple’s romance/storyline.

3. We have a super cool (and kinda spicy) prequel story you can read for free here: https://BookHip.com/HCRSVAA

4. We mostly hang out on Instagram and Patreon. You can find links for all that and more here: https://linktr.ee/kelandaurelia

If you post about it on social media we love to be tagged (as long as it’s not mean) lol. 😆

Thank you so much for your interest in the Faeted Seasons series. 💕

OKAY WAIT. THAT ENDING.
THE PLOT TWISTS???

I need book 3 immediately.
I love finding a new fantasy series to read BUT UGH I HATE (LOVE) CLIFFHANGERS.

I just need them to have a happy ending.
They both deserve it so much.
Vareck holds the weight of the world on his shoulders, and Meera needs stability to find out who she truly is.

They also both need to stop being so damn stubborn when they're awake and COMMUNICATE CAUSE UGH HE IS SO IN LOVE ALREADY BUT THEY BOTH SUCK AT TALKING ABOUT FEELINGS.

Also, I need about a million spin-off books for all of Meera's siblings.
Cause I wanna know more about all of them 🤣

Not my favorite. 10/10 hard read.
Its giving (mind you the entire time) y/n - shes so clumsy and so bad at surviving, but she’s also a badass whose seen shit and has the grumpy male lead obsessed with her, but shes not obsessed with him cuz forever is a long time (my bad run on sentence - not as bad as the run on sentences in that damn book).
Anyways it was so bad, like with 13 pages left in the book a new conflict was introduced. Sorry not just 1 but 2 new conflicts that weren’t getting resolved any time soon. Also I’m pretty sure the authors learned quirky millenial-core phrases and wanted to put them in the book so badly even if they didnt fit, I.e “You put the fun in funeral” No context, in the middle of really shitty dialogue. Nothing from the last book was mentioned - she got kidnapped for the summer heir? but that wasnt explained at all.
Overall I think starting the book out with a Taylor Swift Quote shouldve warned me the authors were going to be awful. And the editing was going to be non existent, seeing as swifties only use Taylor Swift writing format (god-awful).

Odd thing - I have 56 notes on this book and yet none are posted because good reads deleted them😔

I honestly love how hilarious this series is! It’s such a different way for a romantasy story. I was laughing so much while reading this. Like, laughing truly out loud! Corvo is honestly my favorite character ever! 🤣

You see Vareck and Meera struggle a lot in their relationship this book. Meera is struggling to accept the whole fated mates thing. Not because she doesn’t love Vareck but it scares her. And Vareck is trying to give her time but struggles with that, especially when Meera says things to others that to him feels like rejection, even if she didn’t mean it that way.

Sadie and Damon….honestly, I was more interested in their characters this book than anyone else. Those 2 write their own story within a story here and I want WAY more chapters of them moving forward! We get to see a lot more depth to Damon’s character this book and I honestly love him ❤️

And even Drayden’s character got a LOT intriguing this book and I’m curious to see where that whole thing goes 👀

We a few scenes of spice 🌶️ the last one was probably the best one and most intense. The others were typical but not very long. I’d like to see more out of their spicy scenes honestly. OR give us a spicy scene from a couple other characters 😜 because I need to see that!

Can’t wait for the final installment of this trilogy!

What do you actually mean to be continued?!?!
I thought this was supposed to be a duet but apparently not… I mean I’m not mad about it but I kept wondering why it wasn’t wrapping up! 😂😂

Now let me just say this before we get to the good stuff… I do feel like this book had a good bit of filler… but it was a good time and I did enjoy the bonding parts and we got lots of Corvo and let’s be honest, we are all here for Corvo! 😂😂

Speaking of my favorite character, Corvo was in prime form in the book! 😂😂 he had me dying out laughing so many times!!! And the toes beans!!! Oh the toe beans!!!
Do you ever talk for your animals? My husband and I do this all the time and I swear my cat Pedro is Corvo!! 😂😂

I really liked this book! I can’t wait to find out what happens in book 3!!! The ending of this one had me staring at the wall contemplating life! 😂😂

This is the second book in this series and picks up right where the first book (Beneath the Cursed Veil) ended. So do NOT try to read this as a standalone. These books are smack dab in the romantasy genre. This book was hard to put down once I started it which I had the same feelings with the first book.
I feel like the authors did a wonderful job of weaving these first two books together. I enjoyed getting more POVs from other characters. You continue to follow Vareck and Meera’s blossoming relationship while finding missing characters from the first book in unexpected places. You see growth from all the characters and more relationships forming/growing.
The shifting dynamic between the multiple different characters is intriguing and captivating. There are sneaky little connections that were completely unexpected.
The descriptions of the places the characters travel and the creatures they encounter transport you into the story and vividly paint a picture in your mind. Have you ever been afraid of being eaten alive by a teddy bear or maybe labubus give you the creeps…. Well your fears are confirmed in this story.
Corvo, the wonderful god trapped in a cat’s body, is still my favorite character and his chapters had me laughing because the way he articulates things is exactly how I imagine my cats talking.
This book has some spice sprinkled in it and it was just the right amount in my opinion.🌶️🌶️
Overall it is a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me and now I impatiently will wait for the next book!

I need the 3rd book now!!!! I need everything to be right with their world again!! This series is great. I’m obsessed with the story of all of the characters & Corvo might still be my favorite 🤣🤣🤣
The banter & sarcasm throughout this book is like reading about me & my family. We also drip with sarcasm & dry humor in everything we say & do, 😆
I cannot wait to read more about everyone’s secrets, I need them revealed like yesterday.

I Came for the Romance, Stayed for the Sass

Receiving this ARC felt like winning the lottery, and from the very first chapter I knew I was in for something extraordinary. Beyond the Winter Kingdom isn’t just a book, it’s an experience. It’s the kind of story that pulls you under like a riptide and refuses to let you come up for air. My pulse was racing, my emotions shredded, and I was laughing out loud one second only to clutch my chest in heartbreak the next.

Meera completely stole the spotlight for me. She is a force of nature: quirky, witty, and unashamedly herself. There’s such a rawness to her, a mix of vulnerability and blazing courage that makes you feel everything she does. She’s not a damsel waiting to be saved, she’s the storm itself, fierce and beautiful, even when she’s stumbling through her own uncertainty. Watching her navigate a world that constantly tests her spirit was both heartbreaking and empowering.

Then we have Sadie and Prince Damon. Their banter had me grinning so hard my cheeks hurt. The verbal sparring, the tension that simmers between them, the undeniable spark, every scene with those two crackled with energy. I found myself secretly (okay, not so secretly) rooting for them, whispering please, let there be more.

And oh, Vareck. Half fae, half fury, entirely irresistible. He’s dangerous, commanding, and utterly intoxicating. There’s a darkness inside him that even he struggles to control, and yet when it comes to Meera, he falls and he falls hard. That duality of shadow and vulnerability, power and passion, made my heart beat faster with every interaction. Meera sees past his beast, because she’s already faced true monsters. Their love burns like a wildfire in the middle of a frozen wasteland, consuming everything in its path.

The plot itself? A labyrinth of deception, betrayal, and heart-stopping twists. Every time I thought I had the story figured out, it turned itself inside out and left me reeling. This world is so vividly painted, so full of hidden daggers and whispered secrets, that I felt like I was living inside its snow-choked streets.

And I can’t end this without mentioning Corvo. That godly feline; equal parts menace and charm, has me absolutely obsessed.

The writing is razor sharp, immersive, and brimming with emotion. Each page drips with tension, laughter, and passion.

This sequel doesn’t just live up to its predecessor; it surpasses it in every way.

✨ Beyond the Winter Kingdom is a storm you’ll want to be swept away in, a tale of fire, frost, and forbidden love that will leave you breathless and begging for more.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book 💖—it kept me hooked from start to finish and reminded me why I love romantasy so much.

I really appreciated how the authors wrote Meera. She isn’t the typical FMC who instantly accepts at the idea of a fated mate 💫. Instead, she’s hesitant, rational, and wants to take things slow, which honestly feels so refreshing. Sure, we book girlies 📚💅 always dream about finding a hot fae mate, but if we were actually thrown into that situation, wouldn’t we all want to stop and think things through first? 🤔 On top of that, I loved that Meera’s focus stays on finding her missing sister before diving into the whole mate bond mess.

Corvo, the god trapped in a cat, absolutely steals the show. He’s the true MVP of this book—guiding and helping, but always with maximum sass and pure cat-level begrudging attitude. 😼

The worldbuilding here is just chef’s kiss. The twin hells ☀️🌙 are so creative (and horrifying) that I kept asking myself which would be worse to be stuck in. And can we talk about the “Care Bear” creatures 🧸✨? Because let’s be real… as much as I know I should have run 🏃‍♀️, I probably would’ve caved to their pampering 🛁💆 and ended up eaten 😂.

And then that ending?! Two huge reveals 🤯📖 back-to-back that have me desperate for book three ASAP 🙏🔥.

If you’re looking for a fantasy romance with a smart, cautious FMC 🧝‍♀️💭, a snarky cat god sidekick 🐾, and imaginative worlds 🌌 that balance danger with charm, this series is absolutely worth picking up. 💖✨

The story begins right after the end of book one, Sadie disappears, Vareck and Meera and Meera's entire family go to the faerie realm looking for Sadie. But Meera and Vareck fall into Amelia's trap again like Sadie and Damon, they are trapped in the twin realms of Evorsus and Eversus where the lands shift at random and filled with tricks and illusions. In these two realms, the bond between Vareck and Meera is tested as these two worlds keep trying to separate them.

Meera wasn't sure how she felt about the mate bond. It was my job to convince her to accept it. To stay. That was easier said than done when we were traversing the most dangerous hell realm.

Most of this book tells about Meera, Vareck, Damon and Sadie's journey in finding a way out of the dangerous twin realms. I loved this book told in multiple POVs and even has Corvo's POV, he's still my favorite character in this series!🤩 the worldbuilding is great and the plot is intriguing and easy to follow, and the banter between the characters is still awesome!🤣 this book ends with a brutal cliffhanger, huge plot twist and unanswered questions so I'm really looking forward to the conclusion :'')

♥️♥️Huge thanks to Aurelia Jane and Kel Carpenter for including me again on their ARC team, it's an honor and privilege to me. All opinions are my own♥️

Some spoilers

I still absolutely adored this book, but I felt like the characters became more childish than I remember them being in the first book. There was some anger, resentment and childish behavior in the first book but It was resolved by emotional depth and communication, whereas in this book there seems to just be a lot of pointless teen drama, fighting or an inability for one party to understand the other's feelings until the other conceds. (And I'm aware that there is a reason for that on the second hand of the book, but that doesn't apply to the first part)

One issue was when her parents met the fairy king in the tavern. They immediately recognized him, yet didn’t bow, curtsy, or acknowledge who he was. Instead, they ignored the situation and only started calling him “the King” when her brothers started threatening him. It came off a bit cringy, and I think it would’ve worked better if the parents acknowledged his status right away, rather than dragging out a pointless “shock factor.” Especially since this king is rumored to be ruthless and bloodthirsty, it made no sense that they’d risk their children’s safety by ignoring protocol.

Another was Meera's constant tripping was extremely irritating. There wasn't any scene she was in where she wasn't tripping over something at the most inopportune time. It got old fast.

Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed the book. The world building is fascinating and I'm loving the connections between the characters. I still really enjoy the story and look forward to the third installment.

In the first book, Meera was cool. I liked the feisty redhead. This time around, Meera annoyed the heck out of me. I understand that she's scared of the bond. She doesn't want to be hurt, but she handled things all wrong. Meera acted like a child, refusing to communicate and lashing out. It's funny how she doesn't want her feelings hurt, but she didn't even consider Vareck's. He took a lot from Meera in this book, yet he was still there. Now that's not to say he was perfect; he could use more patience. They'd make a good couple if they could get out of their own way.

This book was a little slower-paced than I expected, but it was still good. I enjoyed seeing more of Meera's family; they really are a loving and tight-knit group. Most of the book takes place in twin hell realms, Eversus and Evorsus. Both are deadly in their own way. Meera, Vareck, and the gang had more than a few obstacles. Surprisingly, Corvo was actually helpful but with a side of sass. Like I would expect anything less. The details about the realms were great. From the creatures to the surroundings, heck, even the theories were incredible. The story really picks up towards the end, and I'm left with more than a few questions.

Kel and Aurelia didn't just end it on a cliffhanger; no, there were multiple life-changing plot twists. With so many things left in the air, I can only guess where the story goes from here. Beyond the Winter Kingdom was a great read. I need the next book ASAP.

Just finished Beyond the Winter Kingdom and wow — this one hit me with every kind of fantasy crackle. Sadie’s disappearance pulls Meera and Vareck into Eversus, a realm of smoke, ash, demons, and gods best left forgotten. Meera’s been through hell (literally), between kidnappings and magical bindings, and this journey pushes her even further. Vareck, fierce and brooding as ever, insists they’re bonded — that she belongs to him. Meera didn’t ask for a mate, didn’t want him — but desperation and danger have a strange way of igniting things you swore you’d never feel.

What makes this story stick is how beautifully it balances the monstrous with the intimate. The action and stakes are intense — you can almost taste the ash, smell the danger — but the quieter moments between Meera and Vareck are just as sharp. Their bond, forced as it might feel at first, becomes the thread she holds onto in darkness. And the world-building? Rich. The humor? Sarcastic and real. Beyond the Winter Kingdom isn’t just a fantasy escape — it’s a reminder that some bonds burn brightest when everything else threatens to collapse.

I could not wait for book two in this series! From the start Corvo was on point and I was laughing my head off.
We start off with a great scene including Vareck, Meera, Corvo and Meera's entire family minus Sadie, who's still missing. It was brilliant and so funny, we definitely need more of her family.
This book is basically a journey book with Vareck and Meera setting off to find Sadie (and of course Damon). The four of these characters together with Corvo popping in and out was brilliant. The dynamics were interesting and we got more depth from our characters.
Then I decided I don't like Kel & Aurelia anymore 😂😂😂 Of course I'm joking/1% not LOL as I realised what was going to happen and then I would be faced with a cliff-hanger and wait (I have to wait longer than most as I need the audio too 😭).
I don't do spoilers in my reviews (so my review for book one is more detailed) but this series is such a fun one, with great characters who all have their own strengths and weaknesses, some spice and an enjoyable plot.
The audio book is duet narration by Scott Rose and Savannah Gilmore who do a great job with this cast of characters!
Highly recommend!!!!!

Please read Beneath the Cursed Veil first. This is not a standalone.

Omg. That's all I can say. I read this book in one sitting, and I'm beyond speechless. The cliffhanger?!? Unbelievable. The angst, soul crushing. The spice is delicious. The journey Vareck and Meera have been through is astounding. He's this tall, dark, handsome, and lethal half fae, half fury, and he's head over heels for Meera (we really don't know what she is). She feels the same but is afraid to admit it. I sincerely hope they have a HEA!

I still think Corvo is a naughty kitty, but I really love him. I loved the dynamic between Prince Damon and Sadie. Their heated banter had me cackling at my Kindle. I'm rooting for them.

The realms of this world are awesome and very imaginative. They're also kind of ruthless.

There were parts of this book that broke my heart. (IYKYK) I love the idea of fated mates, and I love the idea of Vareck and Meera being fated. But that one part?!? O.M.G. Speechless. I highly recommend you read this series!

Beyond the Winter Kingdom by Aurelia Jane & Kel Carpenter

I received ARC of this book for an honest review.

Beyond the Winter Kingdom is part 2 of the Fated Seasons: the Winter trilogy. The story continues right where the first book Beyond the Cursed Veil ended. Meera’s sister, Sadie has disappeared, so Meera starts looking for her right away, King Vareck helping her. They soon get betrayed by someone who is close friends with Meera, and they end up in Eversus, twin Hell, where they need to fight even nature to survive.

The characters keep growing more since the first book and all the time during the story, though sometimes I felt like screaming at them while they were doing and saying things to each other, causing a lot of misunderstandings between them.

There were twists in the plot time after time, and the biggest ones in the end surprised me. The cliffhanger especially shocked me so much that I had to wait multiple days to actually review, while I had calmed down enough.

I will give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

Beyond the Winter Kingdom by Kel Carpenter and Aurelia Jane is the second book in the Faeted Seasons Trilogy.
This is not a stand alone, I strongly recommend to read the books in order. The previous book is Beneath the Cursed Veil. And there's a free prequel, Before the Winter King on the authors website.
The story picks up where the previous book was left off. Vareck, the Fae Prince, and Meera, the bounty hunter are fated mates and finally together. But their solitude is soon disturbed by meddling family, employers, familiar Corvo, the list goes on.
To top it all off, Meera's sister Sadie is missing and both her and Vareck are looking into the case. With tragic consequences. I will not spoiler here, only so much - I read and loved the story, very much so, and now I'm sitting here and really, really can't wait what happens next. Will they or won't they??
I recommend the book and the trilogy that deserves all the stars.

Fucking Corvo! That cat seriously fucking kills me every time he opens his cute little mouth! But I feel like this series is one disaster after another and WHY CAN’T WE HAVE ANYTHING NICE! Like are you for real…..that’s how you gonna leave me hanging in the end? You just take my heart and smash it to a million pieces?! You better have a way to put it back together is all I’m saying!

SO on the lighter side of things, I’m really loving the dynamics occurring with the other characters. I mean besides Sadie and Damon cause you could see the tension within minutes! I’m talking the sibling like ones between Sade and Varek! It was fuck gin hilarious and I got major Gimli and Legolas vibes. How much they compete with their fighting and such! Loved every second of it!

So excited for the next chapter cause I NEED ANSWERS!! And I want to see more of that sassy asshole cat! 🤣

Back to Meera and Vareck’s story we go with Beyond the Winter Kingdom, Book 2 in the Faeted Winter Trilogy.

Book 2 picks right back up after the ending of Beneath the Cursed Veil and Meera is on the hunt to find her sister Sadie and navigating being Vareck’s mate. Vareck has only eyes for Meera and doesn’t understand how she isn’t jumping at their mate bond. But when their world is turned upside down in a new hellscape their relationship is put through the wringer.

Corvo, yet again, is my absolute favorite sassy cat familiar who likes to stir up trouble and be vague in his cat godliness. We get some new points of view in this story and everyone is being challenged throughout their journey. With the bombshell hits that kept coming at the end I can’t wait to see how their story unfolds after the truths that were spilled.

Meera is a total whirlwind and you can’t help but get sucked into her world. She’s witty, fearless, and completely unfiltered, and then you throw Vareck into the mix… broody, intense, and ridiculously swoon-worthy. The way they’re forced to face all this danger together while trying not to completely lose it with each other makes the tension absolutely electric.

The story itself is nonstop twists, action, and emotional moments that hit hard. There’s humor, heat, and even some heartbreak, all wrapped up in this wild, magical world that’s so easy to imagine you feel like you’re right there in it. Between the chemistry, the banter, and the high stakes, it’s the kind of book that keeps you reading late into the night because you have to know what happens next. Seriously, it’s addictive in the best way.

Whyyyyy whyyyyyyy???!!?!?! I already knew it'd be a cliffhanger but still 😩😩.

**spoiler**
Having read a previous Aurelia Jane and Kel Carpenter's book, I knew the stories continue on exactly from where they leave off in the previous book and are short but still 😭 Vareck and Meera, ugh these two are going through it. I thought they were good but NOPE. The authors said "throw everything at them and see if they survive" 💀 .

BUT, the highlights were from Corvo 😂 still over there with his sarcastic remarks and funny moments which were perfect.

Now, the new couple coming, Sadie and Damon, I SAW IT COMING!!! I'm wondering how the next book will go - if we will see how the relationship blossoms between Sadie and Damon or if they'd get their own book 👀 .

I'm just glad it's a trilogy so one more book and then I know the ending!!! 🤩

Thank you to the authors for a copy of this book.

Beyond the Winter Kingdom leans hard into what makes this series fun for me: sharp humor, chaotic danger, and relationships that refuse to be simple. Faerie was already a mess, but throwing Meera and Vareck into Eversus (the literal hell realm) raises the stakes.

We get to learn more about the side characters in this book, including Sadie and Damon, I loved getting more depth with them. And Corvo. Always Corvo. Every time he’s on the page, the book gets funnier and sharper. His perspective adds levity without undercutting the danger, and honestly, he always steals the show (he's a cat-god, if course he does). The spice is present but light. Still, it fits the story rather than overpowering it.

I am so ready for the final book in the trilogy!

Kel Carpenter and Aurelia Jane have a knack for crafting heroines who leap off the page: witty, fierce, and brimming with heart. Whether they’re trading barbs or facing down monsters, these women carry sass like a weapon.

Beyond the Winter Kingdom keeps the momentum going strong in the Faeted Seasons series. It’s got more snark, more chaos, and plenty of action to keep you hooked. Definitely one to dive into if you love your fantasy with attitude.

Meera is off now to save her sister, with Vareck, reluctantly by her side. Cue snarky banter, deadly monsters, and a slow-burn romance in a world that wants them both dead. Fast, fierce, and full of attitude.

Just fantastic! Looking forward to the conclusion.

This is book 2 of Faeted Mates and continues Vareck and Meera's story, picking up right after book 1. It kept me engaged throughout, and I love the banter along with Corvo the God—err, I mean cat! The other characters are also great.

I enjoyed the constant bickering between Damon and Sadie too, and hope to see more of them in the next book. I also appreciated learning more about Damon, who he truly is versus who he portrays himself to be. This book delivers plenty of humor, with Corvo's antics making me laugh out loud several times. There is also plenty of action, formidable monsters, pesky emotions to figure out, and some spicy scenes. It does just ends with no resolution, so now I need the next book!

Arc reader review!

This is the 2nd book in the series and ends in a cliff hanger!

We were left waiting at the end of book one, and book 2 brought us into new realms outside of earth and faerie.

Trying to find their missing Emily members, meera and varek face many challenges, sometimes the biggest one being themselves.
Trying to navigate their new found relationship due to fate, while also trying not to be killed by outside forces, leads to an explosion of emotions.
This book took me on twists and turns I didn’t see coming, while also setting us up for surprises in the next installment!
Be ready for a little bit of a wild ride, and LOTS of bickering. Along with heaps of secrets that we don’t have answers to, YET!

Beyond The Winter Kingdom
When the first sentence starts with “You’re a godsdamned menace!” You better believe you caught my attention right away. This enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance is diving deeper into the cursed fae kingdom and the fiery dynamic between Meera, the sharp-witted bounty hunter, and Vareck, the morally grey fae king. The pacing remains fast, with witty banter, steamy chemistry, and a snarky cat familiar, Corvo, stealing scenes. I give praise for the immersive world, layered characters, and intense fated-mates tension. Professionally written and you will fall in love with the characters.

Must admit, I thought this was a standalone, then I thought it was a duet, but it's clearly not, as it ends on a cliffhanger.

The revelations of this cliffhanger are pretty "WTF?" in that I sort of knew something was lurking in the MMC's history, but I had no idea it was THIS.

I like the expansion of this world to include other characters. The MMC's nephew, in particular, has hidden depths which have been fun to see. The FMC's reluctance to commit to the MMC has been the main source of conflict, but I think it's understandable. What's been surprising is the MMC's pretty good verbalization of his own thoughts/feelings, which has been refreshing!

Now to wait for book 3....

I haven’t read anything by Kel and Aurelia that I haven’t loved, but so far this is my favorite series. The twists that this book had that I for sure didn’t see coming were AMAZING!!! We pick up right where book one ended and it was a non stop page turning rollercoaster ride of fabulousness. And that ending….holy cow! The last few chapters had my jaw on the floor. I can’t wait for the conclusion.

This was book 2 in the Faeted Seasons Series.

What an amazing read. Meera and Vareck are keeping me glued to my kindle. The secrets that were revealed were insane. My heart goes out to Meera and Vareck. I absolutely love Damon and Sadie, they could be amazing together. I am completely obsessed with Corvo, I definitely want to know more about him. I’m dying to know what will happen next especially how this book ended. Another great read with characters that I couldn’t stop reading about.
