Thalia has always been the sensible one—the girl with her nose in the books, her heart tucked safely away. After finishing grad school, she heads home to Summer Ridge for a well-deserved break and to surprise her sister. But when she finds the house empty—her sister off on vacation—Thalia suddenly needs a place to stay.
Enter Rome.
Once the boy who lived down the street, now a hardened former SEAL, Rome is as steady, loyal, and impossibly handsome as ever. Back in town to help run Whiskey Ranch, he never expected to open his front door and find Thalia—the quiet, smart girl he secretly noticed in high school—standing there with nowhere else to go.
Living together was supposed to be temporary. Just ten days until Thalia’s sister returned. But between morning chats in the kitchen, memories of times past, and Rome’s insistence he’s got everything Thalia needs, temporary feels a lot more like forever.
Fast, flirty, and full of heart, The SEAL’s Roommate is a small-town, insta-love romance that’s the perfect length for a lunchtime reading break.
This book is a short read you can finish in a lunch hour. It’s full of laughs, heat, and over the top situations. This Summer Ridge Series book is a fun read, not meant to be taken seriously. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a good laugh in Summer Ridge.
What a sweet romance that you can easily read in one sitting. Around an hour, so it's perfect for lunch hour or an afternoon delight. Thalia and Rome knew each other growing up but he joined the military and she left town to get her master's. This is part of the Summer Ridge Series and he's one of the Whiskey Ranch brother's but it can be read as a standalone. When she returns she ends up staying at his house and the rest is history. He's protective, he's gorgeous and he's so in love with her. Their chemistry is explosive. A quick, sweet romance with some steam. The characters were likable. No cliffhanger and a sweet HEA with no cliffhanger. I read a free arc via the author and voluntarily chose to write a review.
