I bought this in the sales after Christmas and I’m glad I didn’t pay full price because although it’s very colourful, quite well laid out and a good overall companion to the series it was a bit repetitive and this one didn’t feel very personable. It’s all written before any of the live shows so it’s lacking some of the sparkle and insight into the dances. I’m also not sure what age range they are pitching these at because the wordsearch and quiz felt quite childish but the rest is quite factual content for an older audience. It does have some nice background pieces on the judges and their careers and it was nice that there was an interview with all the singers and Dave Arch but it just didn’t really blow me away. Bit flat footed for me I’m afraid. 3 stars

My sister bought this for me for Christmas and I devoured it yesterday.
As usual I love reading about the celebs, pro dancers and judges but this one was fairly routine. The highlights for me were looking back at the judges careers, the pros hobbies and the interview with the singers and Dave Arch.

Another decent annual if you are a Strictly fan.
