Maple Hollow #3
Lycans & Lattes
A lovable werewolf baker. A hopelessly smitten café owner. And one small town of paranormal busybodies.
Welcome to Maple Hollow, where the hayrides are haunted, the gossip is juicier than the apple cider, and the town’s favorite slow-burn romance is finally about to ignite.
For years, café owner Willow has harbored a not-so-secret crush on the town’s flour-dusted Wyatt. Everyone in town thinks they go together like a cinnamon latte and a maple scone. But despite the obvious sparks, Wyatt keeps Willow at arm’s length.
Wyatt is hiding more than just his feelings—like the fact he’s the local werewolf pack’s next alpha and falling in love with a human could spell disaster. Especially now that a mysterious someone is determined to keep them apart. Blackmail notes, eerie warnings, and a growing sense of danger start to unravel the truth, but Willow isn’t about to back down without a fight.
With Halloween looming, Willow and Wyatt must decide if their love is worth risking it all... including the wrath of whoever’s been watching them from the shadows. Love is a beast, and this year it's got claws.
Get ready for sweet treats, sharp teeth, and a cozy paranormal romance that’s anything but tame. Perfect for fans of cinnamon roll heroes (and actual cinnamon rolls!), this Halloween rom-com will leave you howling for more.

horny halloweentown delivers again!
after 4 years of mutual pining, cafe owner Willow and local baker werewolf Wyatt finally make their moves! however, someone in town isn't happy about it and starts leaving cryptic notes warning Willow off. between that and Wyatt's pack pushing for a proper wolf queen as his partner instead, these two have a lot to get through together!
a little mystery, pining, and some sexy spice, these two were adorable. bonus points for Wyatt being bi 💖 super interested to see who the next book will follow (is there a next book? i hope there's a next book).

I had a feeling these two were going to be my favourite couple in the series, once I read their book, and that's exactly what happened. They're so sweet, even if their whole relationship went from 0 to 100 in three seconds flat.
We got glimpses of them in the other books, and the characters have a four year history of dancing around each other, but I was still expecting things to move a bit slower.
Instead, they got together in the first third, and knotting came into play immediately (not my thing whatsoever, and I strongly dislike how many newer werewolf books have it, but that's a personal issue).
But!! Aside from that, catching up with the other residents of Maple Hollow was fun, and I enjoyed getting to see werewolf politics in action, even if they rushed Willow and Wyatt's relationship, and the plot as a whole, at the same time.
You can bet I'll be seated for the next one, the couple seems promising.

~* Cute *~
Avery? Eloise? 🖤

DNF at 35%.
Why, WHY, write three cute, paranormal, sapphic romcoms in an amazing universe and then slap us with this???
M/F paranormal romance, fine. But warewolf romance? With a fated mates trope? It is so fkn rapey and weird and about huge hairy men and women who needs protection from said huge hairy men and idk why anyone who reads sapphic romance would appreciate it? So disappointed.

3.5 stars ⭐️ Everything you’d ever want in a cheesy paranormal spooky season romance. Can’t really say it was good, but I also don’t have a single complaint. 😂
Review of advance copy
This was the first Maple Hollow book that I read as it is a series of interconnected standalones. I am hooked and will be reading the first books in the series. This is a true series of interconnected standalones because I had zero trouble getting pulled into the story and connected the the characters. I never once felt like I was missing part of the story.
Willow is a human who owns a coffee shop in a town primarily full of monsters. Wyatt is the local werewolf baker. The two have been in a situationship for the last four years. I loved the inner monologue and the fact that there are chapters from both main characters POVs. It is the perfect cozy fall Romantasy that I will definitely be recommending to others.

take a shot every time they say the word “mate”. you’ll be plastered so quickly. i’ve just discovered i’m not into werewolves. i loved willow and wyatt in the first two books that were clearly hinting that they would get their own book. i was just so icked out by their relationship. hate isn’t a strong enough word. i wanted a cutie lil romance and got whatever this is. also moved wayyyy too quickly. you could argue that it isn’t insta love bc they’ve been flirting for four years. but it feels way too insta love

Man I really am a sucker for a paranormal romance! Especially this time of year as the nights start getting cool and the first hints of autumn are making an appearance! I absolutely LOVE the Maple Hollow series, and to no one’s surprise this book was another five star read for me! I’ve been not so patiently waiting for Willow and Wyatt to have their moment since the very first book in this series, and let me just say, the slow burn was sooo worth it! Their story was so sweet and so perfect! From the cozy paranormal small town vibes, to the slightly kooky, and occasionally nosey paranormal residents that constantly show up for one another, Maple Hollow is one of my top fictional places I wish I could move to!
I’m so so glad Willow and Wyatt finally got their moment in this series! Willow is such a caring, passionate, strong willed human, and as an older sister myself I completely relate to how she always takes care of those around her! Wyatt, our calm, goofy werewolf baker. Man does he have a wild side when he lets his wolf out, which is just what Willow needed in her life! The slight suspense and thrill of the mystery to this story was the perfect compliment to the hot and steamy romance scenes, add in the charm that is the town and its residents and you have the perfect cozy paranormal rom-com!

Wyatt and Willow are the next instalment in Maple Hollow, a cozy, paranormal small-town series. I think that fated mates can be a trope that isn’t always written well but I loved it in this book. Friends to lovers was such a great way to portray these two! These authors have made the characters so well-rounded and with strong individual motivations.
- Human x Werewolf
- Fated Mates
- Pining
- Baker x Cafe Owner
- Primal Play
After four years of will-they-won’t-they werewolf, Wyatt and human, Willow can’t fight their feelings any longer but the paranormal politics in this town don’t let interspecies relationships form without drama.
Sweet, spicy and a whole lot of small town drama. An easy read that I would highly recommend. Love seeing diverse pairings in queer series including M/F pairings such as this book.
Thank-you to the authors for providing me and advanced copy to read in exchange for an honest review.

This book wasn’t for me because of the insta-love/relationship and how rushed the plot was. I haven’t read the previous books in the series so at the beginning I thought that’s why it felt like I was missing something, but even later in the book, it felt like things were skipped and later the event/hint of it would be mentioned in a sentence to, I’m assuming, make you read the next books. I’m definitely not continuing with the series.
I thought that the idea of this book and town sounded fun, but a lot of it was rushed and the side characters and the town weren’t shown enough to actually establish them. The pack was also very vague.
I didn’t like Wyatt or Willow or their relationship. Even though they’ve only been friends up until now, it felt like the moment Wyatt mentioned that they were mates, that was it and their relationship was sorted, even though Willow supposedly wanted time to think about it. There were a few other instances where one of the characters would be described in a certain way and then acted in an exaggerated manner that felt out of place to show how “brave” they were – instead it just felt out of place and was annoying (for example Willow going to see Wyatt’s mother at the end, or Wyatt after someone attacks him and he’s starting to shift).
Setting: Maple Hollow
MC names: Wyatt Sullivan, Willow Miller
POV: both, 1st person

ARC review
I absolutely devoured this one. I've been waiting for Willow and Wyatt's story since the first book of the series. It's been a slow burn for them since book 1, but with this book I'm glad we got them together quickly. Although they hooked up pretty early, they had a lot of things to workout together. The werewolf politics were really interesting and added a good tension. This is my first omegaverse read and it's not overly my thing, but it was a good beginner way to experience it. If you're looking for a cozy, paranormal romance with some tension and great spice, this is for you!
Thank you so much to the authors for the copy!

I had really high hopes for this installment, having enjoyed the other two books in the series and with friends to lovers as one of my favorite romance tropes. But I unfortunately did not enjoy this book. I love Maple Hollow and its cast of magical residents. I love Willow, and I love Wyatt. But I do not love Willow and Wyatt together. They were so incredibly horrible at communicating I questioned how they even became friends. They were overdramatic about small issues yet brushed off major problems and threats. Once they admitted their feelings they moved at light speed, skipping any conversation about what they wanted from the relationship. I am a fan of slow burn, and I was expecting that here, but they confessed their feelings and hooked up almost immediately. And they never slowed down, letting themselves be rushed by Wyatt’s pack and their own intense bond. And they were so blinded by their feelings they ignored the dangers around them until it was almost too late. So overall this book and romance was just not for me.

It feels like I have been waiting for their story for so long. This book was everything I was hoping for and more. I honestly don’t think I could ever get tired of this series. I love it so much. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Also, I’m obsessed with Eloise, Wyatt's sister. I can’t wait for her story. I hope we get one. Lastly, please check out the audiobooks for this series. They are incredible.

Thank you to the authors for this ARC.
I have been waiting for this book since the first in the series came out and it did not disappoint! Willow and Wyatt have been dancing around their feelings for 4 years. With his grandfather stepping down as alpha, it’s time for Wyatt to come clean about his feelings and let Willow in on the secret he’s been carrying since they met.

All I could think about while reading this was this quote: more good women have been lost to marriage than to to war, famine, disease and disaster. RIP Willow I guess 😅😅
Look. LOOK. I just gotta say that MF isn't for me, and I won't rate this lower for that, but man. I expected a cute slowburn between a coffee shop owner and baker, and I got wolfish fuck fest with stereotypical gender dynamics and a strong independent woman who suddenly develops a breeding kink. Am I mad at that? Honestly, I'm not sure yet. Because the book was good. It was well written even if I had to skim a lot of the spice (and there's so much of it) because it got way too kinky for me. I read and love omegaverse but hearing the words "breed me" come out of Willow's mouth made me a little sick 😅😅
There was a criminal lack of iris in this book, which makes sense since it happens parallel to Iris's book. I enjoyed that world building a lot! I love this cast of characters and ultimately that's why I still had a good time reading it even though I really hoped for a queer vibe to this otherwise gorgeous sapphic series. Eloise even said the pining between two sapphic werewolfs would be off the charts so... Why did we make Wyatt a man? If we're gonna have knotting, I would have loved that to be with female Alpha 🫠 but alas.
I was glad to have the mystery element back that I missed in the novella, that made for an interesting plot.
Overall, I had WILDLY different expectations for this book. It was still a good and quick read and I liked it in a way, but it just got too straight for me.
If you read heterosexual romance, I'm sure you won't mind that as much as I did. I concur with other reviews that this is definitely not a standalone. The book expects you to already love the characters and know the backstory, and to be honest, I wished we had explodered that more. I wished we had seen flashbacks to when Willow first arrived in Maple Hollow rather than be told Wyatt was her first friend and that she had wanted to be bred by him since their first meet.
I do really hope we get an Eloise and Nephy book!! And more of Ramona and iris. I'd read the hell out of that! But I definitely won't be picking up any straight Romances any time soon again. It's just not for me, especially in a queernormative world like Maple Hollow.

This may be my favorite one in the Maple Hollow series so far! This couple has been teased from the very beginning. Willow, the owner and runner of the coffee shop called Witches' Brew, and Wyatt, the soon to be pack alpha and runner of the bakery , have finally gotten their happily ever after.
Minor Spoilers Ahead:
Willow has been pining for Wyatt for approximately four years, but anytime they get "close" he seems to shut down or change the subject. Wyatt has had a binding spell placed on him, so that he hasn't shifted into a wolf in the last four years, because if he had his wolf would have immediately run to his mate and mated with her.
Wyatt has finally realized that this year is the year that he needs to tell Willow everything and let the chips fall where they may. Once he tells her that she is his mate and that they can only have an all or nothing relationship, will she agree to being with him for the rest of her life? Or just say it's too much too soon, and move on?
This is such an amazing little story with all the slow burn/pining from afar, as well as the generational conflict/proposed wedding match for the alpha. I really enjoyed reading this book, and can't wait for the next one in this cozy fantasy series.

In the third installment of the Maple Hollow series (fourth in this universe), we finally get the perfect slow burn, friends-to-lovers story we’ve been waiting for: Willow & Wyatt. This can be read as a standalone, but you will adore the characters even more if you start with where it all began: Pumpkin Spice & Poltergeist!
These lovable town favorites have been pining for each other for the past 4 years, sharing moments between exchanging apple fritters and cinnamon flat whites. However, with Wyatt nearing the inevitable duty of becoming alpha of his pack, their feelings for one another can no longer coast in the background. There are secrets that Willow has yet to discover and life-altering choices that could change the entire trajectory of their relationship.
When they begin to acknowledge that their friendship is a safety net for what they’ve truly felt for one another, Willow starts receiving mysterious threats. The couple is now facing bigger obstacles intertwined with werewolf politics. Running their small businesses in this cozy Halloween town is now the least of their concerns.
I am incredibly honored to have been selected to review this ARC. Fall is my favorite time of the year and when I first discovered the Maple Hollow universe, I immediately felt all the cozy autumnal vibes I long for year-round. This town and these characters have a soft spot in my heart and I cannot recommend this incredible series enough if you are looking for the perfect cozy read with queer representation, while we wait for the crisp fall mornings, apple cider donuts, and Halloween to arrive. 🍁🎃🍎🤎

Book Overview
A lovable werewolf baker. A hopelessly smitten café owner. And one small town of paranormal busybodies.
Welcome to Maple Hollow, where the hayrides are haunted, the gossip is juicier than the apple cider, and the town’s favorite slow-burn romance is finally about to ignite.
For years, café owner Willow has harbored a not-so-secret crush on the town’s flour-dusted heartthrob: Wyatt.
I’m so happy I was able to read Lycans and Lattes early. I’ve been waiting for the slow burn of Willow and Wyatt, and this story did not disappoint.

I would like to thank the authors for providing me with an ARC of this book and for the opportunity to read it and review it.
I’m so happy I got to read this one earlier!!! I love this series. One of my favorite things about it is how incredibly real the town feels, the writing makes it so easy to lose yourself in Maple Hollow. You literally start to feel like you live there alongside these characters.
And you also get so invested in entire community, loving every single one of the characters, including the secondary ones (and I don’t think that’s easy to accomplish.) I especially hope we get to see more of Agnes because she was one of my favorite secondary characters in this book! I think I have an idea of which couple the next book might focus on, but I’m not going to spoil anything ofc. But truly I would happily read a book about every single couple in this town, I’m so excited to discover everyone’s stories and spend time in this world. The sense of community and found family is such an important part of these books, and that’s something I personally love. It’s not only about the individual couples, but also the people surrounding them and the relationships they’ve built with each other. Also, I noticed a huuuge improvement in their writing (I rated all their books 5 stars, so it was already good.)
I’m really, really glad I had the opportunity to read this ARC, and I’m so happy I got to return to this town and these characters once again! Thank you again.

Maple Hollow will forever have my heart and I will never get tired of this paranormal town and its lighthearted characters! Lycans & Lattes was the perfect book to start September off with, just in time for spooky season. I even highlighted a recipe that is now at the top of my must try fall beverage list! 🤩
I have been waiting for Willow & Wyatt’s story and it played out so fitting for their characters. While this probably could be read as a standalone, there are several references to the previous books and I do think to fully appreciate it you should absolutely read the first two books in the series. I appreciated the character pop ups from books 1 & 2 and love that we still maintain a connection to some of the characters we have already come to know and love.
Lycan’s & Lattes touches heavily on family dynamics and it explores conflicts that sometimes come up when navigating a large family, generational trauma, and the pressures that come with being an eldest child. This book felt a bit more serious in comparison to some of the other books in the series but was still lighthearted enough to maintain the rom-com aspect of the series. It was also higher spice in comparison to books 1 & 2.
Read this for a lighthearted fall book that touches on werewolf politics, family dynamics, and a cute cozy town full of paranormals.

I have loved every book in this series. Truly.

Five stars. Loved it. Cannot get enough and the physical version is even better.

"There was no spell big enough to keep two hot women from banging, praise all the sapphic gods."
Five stars. Ramona is my soul mate.
But this one, THIS BOOK, takes the cake. And not just because we get knotting, but because we get an angsty, shoulders everything and would love it if someone could just competently handle ONE thing for her, eldest daughter and a down bad MMC who has loved her for so long. We get to go back to Maple Hollow with our favorite people and see what they've been doing. And it is everything I wanted.
The pacing is fast and I would have loved to see more and dive deeper into both Willow and Wyatt, but like they say, they've been dancing around each other for four years, so it's time to move fast. We do finally get more details on why they've been tiptoeing around each other, which was great. And we get to see super protective Alpha Daddy do his thaaannnnggggggg.
If you love sweet, fast, and haunted, then this book is for you.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 🌶️🌶️
I’m officially on a paranormal romance binge right now, and Lycans & Lattes was a fun addition to the streak! I’d give this one a solid 3 stars and 2 spicy peppers. 🌶️🌶️
Being the third book in the Maple Hollow series, I was especially excited for this one because I’d been feeling the tension between Wyatt and Willow since book one! It was definitely satisfying to finally get their story and see everything unfold between them. AND finally getting some of the details behind all the tension from the past two books was so eye opening!
One of my favorite parts was seeing the town rally around Willow when she needed it most. There was something so heartwarming about everyone coming together and making it clear that she was absolutely one of them. 🥹🍂 I also really enjoyed the tension surrounding Wyatt’s mother and some of the pack members who had their own issues with Willow. (Humans and Werewolves politics, am I right? LOL) It added an interesting layer to the story and gave the romance a little more conflict.
I must also say Eloise was such a fun new character to be introduced in this story and I need her and Naphula’s book ASAp!
Overall, this was a good, cozy paranormal romance with plenty of small-town, found-family vibes, and I’m still completely sold on the idea that Maple Hollow would be an absolute bucket-list fall destination if it were a real place. 😂🍁☕️
I’m definitely continuing to live vicariously through this series’ cozy little supernatural town!

Thank you to the authors for the advanced copy of this book!
I couldn’t love Maple Hollow more if I tried and I’m always so happy to dive back into the world. It’s a paranormal queernormative small town (think Stars Hollow meets Schitt’s Creek but spooky) with the best and quirkiest characters.
In Lycans & Lattes, we finally get Willow and Wyatt’s story… four years in the making! Human coffee shop owner Willow falls in love with Wyatt, a bisexual baddie baker who happens to be the next alpha werewolf. Their love story is a true friends-to-lovers slow burn, and it is so worth the wait. In true Maple Hollow fashion, their story is swoony, oh so steamy, and full of crazy misadventures. I adored Willow’s fierceness and related to her so hard as a fellow eldest daughter. Wyatt is the sweetest down bad, golden retriever MMC, and loved the pair of them together.
The story also features other town favorites that I can never get enough of, as well as new ones that I hope to see featured in future books (*cough*eloise*cough*).
With romance, mystery, and lots of spice - Lycans & Lattes was the perfect book to kick off my fall reading list!

If you liked the first two Maple Hollows books, then don’t bother reading any more of this - Willow and Wyatt have their own story and you need to read it!
Willow and Wyatt have been dancing around each other for about four years. They’ve popped up in previous books, so we know that they like each other but nobody has made any moves. That changes in this book, which is cozy and cute and sweet with some open door (forest??) scenes.
I really enjoyed this entry into the Maple Hollows series. I felt Wyatt’s struggles around his family’s and pack’s expectations for him and his future was really well done, and I also really appreciated that although the family could be toxic, Wyatt and Willow communicated with each other. There were BOUNDARIES!! I also really enjoy the side characters and the village as a whole, who rally around when things don’t go quite right. Sometimes I want a book where even if things are going downhill I KNOW that everything will work out perfectly in the end, and that’s what I felt with this story.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s a fan of cozy books, especially paranormal romances.

If you're looking for a cozy fall read, then I highly suggest reading Lycans & Lattes. The perfect small (monster) town set during the fall with a wide range of colorful characters—it was great.
Wyatt is the sweetest werewolf, and it's not just because he's the town baker. He's been in love with Willow for four long years but hasn't said anything until now. Willow and Wyatt were messy but in the best of ways. They did everything out of order, but the longing has gone on for way too long. I mostly blame Wyatt; that wolf's communication skills need work. But Willow could've said something before now too. They were missing out on something good.
The romance went from zero to a hundred in two seconds flat, but they also faced a lot of obstacles. Between pack politics, family drama, wolf anatomy, cryptic notes, and stalkers, they had their hands full. Not to mention the town gossip mill; it was mind-blowing but entertaining. Lycans & Lattes was a good read. It's going on next year's fall reading list for sure.

4.5★ Rounded Up
It's time to return to Maple Hollow! Lycans & Lattes was incredibly cute and I am SO glad we finally got Willow and Wyatt's story! This is fast paced, sweet & cozy story that still gets drama and a some mystery. It's all tensions and spice from the start and I was all for it. If you aren't familiar with the series, it could feel a little bit like instalove (not normally my thing), but don't be fooled. There has absolutely been history and tension building up since book one. This is basically just the a 3 book slow burn! I also enjoyed the mystery story in this. The threats and politics kept things tense in a different way, and made the story fly by. I definitely wanted to smack some characters a few times. I also really enjoyed the snippets of the other couples in the series and seeing how timelines match up. I am also very interested in finding out who the next book will be about, and I have theories.
Thank you to Ali & K. Elle for this opportunity! My thoughts are entirely my own.

Yes we are back in 'Spooky Hollow' for more spooky, romantic, and witty antics from the 'out-worldly' characters that call this town home.
Willow the 'human' cafe owner has had glancing looks on the tall hunky town baker Wyatt in previous stories. Even was saved from hex poisoning by him. But does he feel the same?
This story is not so much of a will they / won't they, but rather what is conspiring to stop them from being a couple. The mystery about the threatening notes, the demands from Wyatt's family and pack, whether or not Wyatt will have to face a future of two substandard halves, it is all developed into an intriguing romance that is page turning fun to read.
Of course this author has proven herself a master of character building and world making in her previous Spooky Hollow books, so this is more of not just embellishing what is already been established but somehow makes all the stories more cohesive and unified, just as the town folk help this couple do the unthinkable, get married happily ever after.

August 23, 2026A lovable werewolf baker. A hopelessly smitten café owner. And one small town of paranormal busybodies.
Willow and Wyatt have harboured not-so-secret crushes on each other for years. But Wyatt's feelings become complicated as he is pressured more to take over from his grandfather as alpha of their pack - and falling in love with a human could be a disaster.
I adore the Maple Hollow world! I love seeing new parts of the year-round halloween town, with lots of paranormal creatures and LOTS of romance.
Willow and Wyatt are absolutely adorable together, finally getting their happy ending after having a will-they-won't-they dynamic for the previous books in this serious. Willow is so caring, passionate and strong, and Wyatt is calm and a bit goofy, but loves Willow above all.
This series has such a special place in my heart! I can't wait for the next book.
Thank you so much to Ali K Mulford and K Elle Morrison for an earc, all opinions are my own!
