Marisol and her pack were sweet together and genuinely cared for each other. I would have loved more getting to know each other on page, but you do get their essential personalities shining through.

100 pages of three swoony shifters trying to impress a siren so she'll be part of their pack forever? 100/10 - would recommend.
I fell in love with Bash, Killian, and Silas immediately. They all have different personalities but fit together in all the right ways (literally, too 😏). The way they seamlessly slid into Marisol's life was so sweet - not only being attentive of her needs but people across Starry Hill. If you like monster men putting in the effort to woo their mate this is the book for you!
There's lots of delicious spice but Elle sprinkles in the perfect balance of thoughtful, romantic moments, too. You'll be giggling, swooning, and wishing that Starry Hill wasn't just a fictional island.
I fell in love with Bash, Killian, and Silas immediately. They all have different personalities but fit together in all the right ways (literally, too 😏). Welcome back to Starry Hill!!!! Halloween edition! 🎃
gosh dang this series is so comfy cozy and spicy at the same time! like a hot chocolate mixed with a cayenne pepper 🔥 hehe ANYWAYS I am so happy that we’re back and just in time for Marisol, our singing siren and favorite pub owner, to get her happily ever after (and lots of boinking 😉) with Pack Morgan.
Silas, Bash, and Killian made up the perfect trio for Marisol. each of them had different personalities that meshed well together. they were so incredibly sweet and attentive with Marisol while she faced her heat and afterwards with the big Halloween party! Where can I get these men? do they have any siblings? If so, Marisol better send me the deets! I adored the cameos from the rest of the main characters from previous books and how they’re continuing their lives (and shenanigans hehe). It was like having one big spooky family reunion 🥹

This is another novella in the Creatures and Cottages series. When I started this one, I was expecting it to be a full-length novel for some reason. I love that this is a why choose MMFM romance. The spice is spicing in this one for sure, and Bash had my heart. They all did really but Bash just did something to me. The only reason this one didn't get a 5 star is because it was a bit too rushed for me. When you read one of her books you always know what you are getting. There will be spice humor and not third act breakup or unneeded drama. If you haven't read anything by this author yet what are you waiting for? I was lucky enough to read an ARC of this book, but all opinions are my own. This book will be releasing October 3, 2025.

Who likes a little spice with their spooky reads? Halloween with the Siren is a perfect novella to add to your list this month? Elle takes us back to Starry Hill for a Halloween Party, but not before we meet Marisol and Pack Morgan.
Marisol is a sweet Siren who loves town, friends, and career at The Singing Seahorse. She debates if now is a good time to consider getting help for her heats, and takes the plunge by joining an agency. The concept is new to her, but she ends up being in the best company when she is paired with a pack waiting for a chance.
😭🙌🏾 Pack Morgan is what I wish I had. A wolf, fox, and panther shifter who desire to find their mate. Silas, Bash, and Killian find all of that in Marisol from the moment they meet her, and begins the challenge of convincing her to stay. They're patient, eager, attentive, and honest as they do what they must to win her favor (and her heart). I was swooning the whole time over their efforts, and how they met Marisol where she was, and got to know the village in the process.
🥵 That chase scene though was something else! I loved how determined all three of them were. Starry Hill caught my heart again and has me packing by bags already to go back!

This is one spicy novella taking place in Starry Hill—the small town we all wish we could visit 😉. I loved that Marisol finally got her own story, and Silas, Killian, and Bash were swoon-worthy shifters through and through.
I adore this series and am always excited to return to Starry Hill. Elle Sterling delivers another fun, steamy, and magical escape just in time for spooky season.

Is this my new favorite Creature’s and Cottages book? Honestly, I think it is! I could’ve read 200 more pages of these 4 and still wanted more, I adored them. You literally get all the best traits in our three MMCs. Bash who is fun, flirty, playful and a tad submissive, Killian who’s strong, rugged, comforting and a verse and Silas who’s dominating, calm, collected and powerful. Plus all three saying the sweetest, most heart melting, pantry dropping things all the time, SWOON. Marisol is also on of my fav types of FMC, an independent girl who’s used to doing everything and taking care of herself who just wants to be taken care of and turn her mind off for a bit. This was the perfect dynamic, three shifters, a fox, wolf and panther, who are eager to please and prove themselves and a girl who can barely believe her desires are coming true.
I loved them so much, I wanted them all to be happy and taken care of. Them being so compatible that they triggered her heat and then went all in on taking care of her. What more could a girl want, being lavished with attention, climaxes, food and baths by three gorgeous devoted men. Marisol was really living the dream here. It’s so hard to pick a favorite but I love a submissive boy so I instantly fell in love with Bash, but I loved them all. The spice was so good, kink exploration and you never felt like anyone was left out of a scene which is hard to do. I’m ready to beg on my knees to Elle for more of these four cause I adored this book!

This story was happiness & light from start to finish with heaping piles of spice spread throughout. It made me smile, giggle, squeal, kick my feet, laugh out loud, swoon, and fan my face (a lot). So yummy!
Marisol is a siren who owns the pub in Starry Hill.
Killian is a wolf shifter, professor, partner of Silas, and member of Pack Morgan.
Bash is a fox shifter, free diver and the newest member of Pack Morgan.
Silas is a panther shifter, fishing boat captain, partner of Killian, and Alpha of Pack Morgan.
They meet through a heat management agency - her looking for assistance, them offering it. Things go extremely well in their get to know you interview and her heat gets triggered, which means that (once she confirms consent) the fellas get right to taking care of her. And, lord, do they ever take care of her! And take care of her and take care of her. And then there is some wooing, courting, community building, and a Halloween chase. Swoon!
I do not have the words to describe how much I loved these four. They were everything. And the Starry Hill residents did NOT disappoint!
I am always so impressed with Elle's writing and this beautiful world she has created. And the way she packs so much heart & story into just over 100 pages is astounding!

Halloween with the siren is a fast paced halloween filled novella. Marisol is a super independent omega, Killian is a grumpy growly alpha, Silas is the caring alpha who looks after everyone and Bash is our golden retriever alpha who has no filter.
As soon as I met the MMCs I was obsessed with them all and they are instantly obsessed with Marisol but know not to be too overbearing with her. They all experience their first heat together in what is basically a heat clinic, Marisol normally just takes care of things herself.
Bash is the youngest at 26 and everyone else is 30+. Swords will cross in this why choose, and lord the mens relationships are cute as heck as well.
During this novella a island wide halloween festival is planned led by Marisol, Masie and Tilly. The whole town gets involved and makes it super special. Marisol also gets over a few fears.
If you want pumpkin carving, costume competitions, heats, doting alphas, friends being legends and primal chases this is the book for you! I wish I could read this again for the first time.

Let me just start by saying if Elle Sterling is writing it- I’m reading it. As an author she is one of the kindest, sweetest and most creative people I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting to know. So getting to be an ARC reader for her?! SAY LESS IM IN.
Now- the spice. I have never ever read anything spicier than this book. Before this it was Party with the Kraken 😂👏 ELLE KNOWS HOW TO DO SPICE. The MMFM shifter/heat dynamic was amazing and I so wish it wasn’t just a novella because I never wanted it to end.
The cozy, Starry Hill, Halloween setting? LOVE. I felt like I was reading about a romance in Halloweentown! Oh also don’t even get me started on the Nesting Grounds facilitator Lauren. I’m sorry a blonde elf who’s a badass, take no shit, girls girl of a woman? YEAH I LOVE HER 👏💖😂

Spice, Spice Baby! If you're looking for a short story that packs some HEAT, here you go. This book comes in around 100 pages but it has a little bit of everything when it comes to the spice. There's a siren in heat. Primal play. Group activities. I mean, seriously.
Don't be fooled though, this story still had plenty of heart and non-spicy fun. I loved watching Starry Hill plan out their first real Halloween. I just love how this little town comes together to plan the best events. The way all the creatures use their different skills and magic to make it all come together is fantastic.
Watching Bash, Silas and Killian woo Marisol was too cute for words. I love how they even though they're a pack, they still had their own personalities and ways to woo our lovely siren. They always put her first which is how it should be! They let her stay that independent woman, but just showed her that sometimes it's OK to get a little help and support from others.

LOVES:
- Tilly (the nurse in town), yet again, helped a creature who was embarrassed or uncomfortable with a natural part of themselves to find something that worked for them 👏 I love the openness of these characters
- The way the heat clinic was ran was ideal. They were so careful about screening potential partners and ensuring everyone’s comfort and safety.
- The auralism kink was a bit unique, I like new things 😄
- The guys showed up for her and the town to show that they were fully invested and willing to do whatever it took to be with Marisol.
I love heats and packs and knotting, but it was fun to learn about a new-to-me type - a cat shifter! That meant barbed peen, and thank goodness that was explained 🙃
All of the spice was great 🔥 Honestly, it’s the smut lover in me, but I could’ve read 50 more pages of spice 😅

I had the best time reading this sweet and spicy novella!!! Marisol is a siren that is about to go into her heat. She has always gone through it by herself but after some support from her friends, she decides to use a heating agency. She meets Pack Morgan and instantly connects with the men.
I absolutely loved that out MMCs had a strong relationship before they even met Marisol. There was never any jealousy better men only wanting to bring pleasure to their siren. Highly recommend is you love your novellas sweet and spicy!!

I loved every single aspect of this book! I love how unique Bash, Killian, and Silas are, but I also appreciate how beautifully they work together as a pack, especially where Marisol is concerned. Marisol was such a strong, independent woman, and it was fantastic getting to see her maintain her independence while learn to embrace the support that Pack Morgan provided. Plus, all our MCs are ocean lovers, so I want to hang out with them all immediately! And a moment for the SPICE please, and thank you 🙌🏻🙌🏻 This is a short, spicy novella that is full of cosy, Halloween vibes, and it could definitely be your next fave one-handed read 😉

Marisol has always been the picture of independence, but when she finally signs up with a heat agency, she doesn’t expect to end up with Silas, Killian, and Bash, the most unlikely pack of shifters who turn out to be exactly what she needs.
The novella balances cozy seasonal atmosphere with plenty of spice. The trio of shifters each bring their own personality to the relationship, and the dynamic feels playful, supportive, and fun to read. I especially enjoyed how the Halloween setting tied everything together, from the party preparations to the cameos from familiar Starry Hill residents. Even though it’s short, the story doesn’t skimp on connection or chemistry. It’s sweet, funny, and delightfully hot.

Absolutely amazing. I love the characters coming back in from the previous books, the story telling is fabulous. Maisie is so excited for Marisol and it’s hilarious. I love all three of the MMC’s they’re so in tune with her needs and provide her with everything she wants. Cheeky Bash, serious and silent Silas and Killian who’s just filthy. I loved it so much. There’s the story, the amazing spice, the lovey bits. It’s all there. Masks and primal chases. Acts of service and getting to know her friends and helping them. They show up. They show up for her. The court her and give her gifts. There’s shifted scenes. It’s all there. I absolutely cannot wait to buy the paper back! It’s so good. My favourite book so far!! Can’t wait for more. I’m starving for it. I’m also super jealous of Marisol!! Congratulations Elle on another amazing book!!

Marisol the siren is going on heat and so she sought help in an agency to assist her with the process. She matched with Pack Morgan with Silas, Bash and Killian. After, they all entered a tentative courtship where the guys proved themselves that they wanted Marisol.
I rarely read why choose romances, but I trust Elle and she delivered.
Idk what I expected but certainly not this. It went above and beyond. The book was spicy BUT it was also very sweet, and wholesome. Did not expect to use spicy and sweet in the same sentence but here you go.

Marisol the siren is going on heat and so she sought help in an agency to assist her with the process. She matched with Pack Morgan with Silas, Bash and Killian. After, they all entered a tentative courtship where the guys proved themselves that they wanted Marisol.
I rarely read why choose romances, but I trust Elle and she delivered.
Idk what I expected but certainly not this. It went above and beyond. The book was spicy BUT it was also very sweet, and wholesome. Did not expect to use spicy and sweet in the same sentence but here you go.

Halloween With the Siren is an easy read with characters you instantly fall in love with. The pack is so caring and so very obsessed with their siren, and I’ve been in love with the siren for 3 books now.
I was missing a bit more bite (literally too...) in the spice - since it’s almost a pure spicy book - but that’s just me: always wanting more 🤣
If you want an easy read with lots and lots of spice, a little extra flame for those autumn evenings by the fire, this book is for you!

Can be read as a standalone, but I would recommend having read the previous ones to understand who's who and "the vibe".
The SMUT is smutting, that's for sure—Low-angst, no drama, everything has a happy ending (pun intended). The book is quite short, and at times, it felt a bit too brief for me. I liked the characters, but I needed more (more what, I'm not sure, but more). However, it still works, and Elle's writing is enjoyable.
Pick it up if you like:
- Romance (open-door)
- Insta-love/lust
- Diverse characters and characters from previous books

When this short 100-page book was recommended to me on my instagram, I was intrigued and excited to finish a book in just a few days since I tend to read slowly haha.
But this book was different to what I normally read, as it contains some very spicy content, and I realized they weren’t kidding—within the first couple of chapters, there was so much spice that I wondered if I should even be reading this in public! haha
Aside from that, I really enjoyed the characters, especially how they treated each other with respect and genuinely tried to find love and connection, something I can personally relate to.
Although the spicy scenes were the weaker aspect of the book in my opinion, the likable characters more than made up for it.
If you’re looking for a quick read with plenty of heart, I highly recommend picking up this book.

I thought I was ready to go back to Starry Hill, but I was underprepared for how spicy this trip was going to be!! Bash, Killian, & Silas are happy addition to the small town. The way they cater to Marisols every need has all the green flags! I really enjoyed their unique personalities, although I think Bash might be my favorite 🤫Marisols a tough, do it herself siren, but is need of help for her upcoming heat. Thankfully Pack Morgan is there to help, and to trigger her heat early😬 Pack Morgan is very giving, if you know what I mean 🤩😘 Halloween with the Siren is a welcome addition to Creatures and Cottages and your shelf/tbr!

Elle has always made Starry Hill cozy and inviting, but with Halloween she took it up a notch. The description of this cozy island on Halloween seems extra magical.
Marisol and her pack Of shifters (Killian, Silas and Bash) were all sweet and spicy. These men are thoughtful, caring and all encompassing when it comes to their sweet siren. Marisol deserved nothing but the best and that's exactly what she got with these three shifters. Ehem, ehem, ehem.... can you hear the envy in my voice 😉
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this novella. I hope we see more of the pack in future books.

This was a freaking adorable and SPICY little Halloween read! We got to meet new characters and expand the world of Starry Hill!
Marisol was sweet, and horny 👀 and she found her match with Silas, Killian, and Bash! Who were so sweet, attentive, and deliciously spicy. And their mouths? Omg. HOT.
I loved that the plot revolved around a fun Halloween party on the island and we got to see bits of past characters from the series!

Listen I will shout about this series from the rooftops and this installment is just as good as the rest. It is a novella so it is shorter but we still get the warm and fuzzy relationship building along with plenty of spice. Since the guys are in a pack we get group scenes with fun equipment with some sword crossing. I love getting to see characters from previous books interact within this story. If Starry Hill were a real place I would have moved there already to find a monstrous mate.
