Chronology of a Murder — A famous scholar — the chronologist Mr. Touvard — is murdered in the Paris of the 1800’s. To solve the mystery of this crime the great investigator Lord Dunslay will guide the reader through a web of hypotheses and suspicions. This is, however, no ordinary crime, for the last thing Touvard did before dying was to reveal the contents of a theory that would made irrelevant the most cherished beliefs of the defenders both of Faith and of Reason.

REVIEW: THREE STEPS TO MADNESS by L. N.Niño
Madness can strike at will, and is seemingly unpreventable; and the three narrators of the short stories contained herein are each more or less precariously balancing on madness' slippery descent. Each very different, yet in some sense similar; each will discover the descent inevitable.

Three Steps Into Madness, by L. N. Nino, contains three well written novellas that explore the darkness of our minds. The Brain Within its Groove, I read and reviewed in mid-May 2014. I loved it then and still love it.
The Gray Man is written with rich characters and is so descriptive that the reader feels like he/she are right there in the story. An immigrant man, longing to be a writer, soon becomes disillusioned with the ‘American Dream’. He begins a slow descent into madness, while his immigrant wife embraces the ‘American Dream’ and rises into a society that her husband doesn’t belong to.
Chronology of a Murder is a well written mystery, full of hypotheses, theories, and suspicion. A member of a high society becomes mad from all of his twisted knowledge.
I loved all three of the novella’s contained in Three Steps Into Madness. I highly recommend this book to all who are interested in the psychology of the mind.
