What a spicy, quick novella with stellar narration! You can NEVER go wrong with Teddy Hamilton, and Savannah crushed the sweet-but-innocent FMC persona. This is the perfect read when you want something fast-paced and spicy.
The plot follows Lacey, a college student who writes smut while secretly crushing on her best friend, Ollie, and his wild 'sexcapades.' This was a fun, simple friends-to-lovers story featuring a delightful 'naughty professor' moment. My favorite moments were Lacey's sexy dream while spending the night at Ollie's and his background extracurriculars. 😘 I honestly wish this book was longer—I loved these two! It was exactly the quick, uncomplicated romance I needed.

I listened to another novella by this author the day before this one, and honestly, I think that was my first mistake. This one almost felt a little copy-and-paste, the foundation of the story was basically the same, just with a few different twists. You’ve got two best friends figuring out their attraction, hesitant to cross the line because they don’t want to ruin their friendship. The main difference here was a bisexual MMC and a really hot group scene with a professor.
Parts of it did feel a little cheesy lol her calling him a naughty professor had me cackling. Don’t get me wrong, I love a professor/student trope, but for some reason I just couldn’t take this one as seriously.
Still, it’s a fun, low-stakes, smutty read. I think because I listened to these books back-to-back, they started to feel too similar, which is why this one’s getting a slightly lower rating from me. But overall, if you’re looking for something quick, easy, and low commitment to pass the time, definitely give it a listen the narration is incredible!!

The writing was top notch…. It was easy to follow and it did keep a short storyline between the characters but the main focus was still definitely the steamy spicy factor of it all!!
Two best friends that are crazy for sure other but neither one sees it due to fear of ruining their easy and perfect friendship!! Lacey is a romance author that’s not getting a whole lot of romance because she’s too busy crushing on her BFF and living vicariously through his steamy AF hookups (no cheating promise) she take all her romance Spicy
Inspiration from Olly who is more then happy to paint her a picture of his night of spicy dirty debauchery (Spicy MM fun)!!
Certain thing come to light and she makes the choice of being the main character in her own story with the encouragement from Olly (even tho it’s k!lling him to do so because she’s his (she doesn’t know it yet)but she is ) she sets her eyes on their professor. Olly being totally in love with her and wanting Lacey to have everything she’s ever wanted becomes her wingman… one attempt at getting professors attention goes a little farther then either Lacey and Olly intended which leads to eyes being open to what’s always been in front of them for the past two years……
Oh and best believe that the freaking SPICE was definitely SPICIN 5 straight jalapeños! Make sure to bring an extra set of undi£s you might need them hehehe 🤭

Ohhh my goodness - This was everything I wanted in a quick, smutty novella!
Our FMC, Lacey, writes spicy romance novels using her best friend Olly's exploits as inspiration and Olly loves giving Lacey plenty of inspiration. Lacey is a really good mix of innocent and dirty, like someone who wants to be dirty so bad, but lacks the confidence. And our Olly is actually so sweet and encouraging.
I really loved this. So much story was packed into 120-ish pages and it flowed really well and was spicier than I thought it would be! The end maybe felt a little bit rushed, but I think that might've just been me wanting to stay in this world with these people for longer. Because man, I could've used a very extended epilogue for this one. IYKYK.
Some notes, as I've labeled this MF, MM, and MMF and I feel like that needs explaining - It's mostly MF, I guess, but also there's some MM and there's also some MMF/MFM - Yes, I know there's a difference, but this is hard to explain without giving away the full climax here. So while I wouldn't quite call this a throuple situation, I also don't feel comfortable labeling this as strictly MF, because I want to set your expectations appropriately.

He loves relaying his sexual conquests to her and only does males as he knows she gets turned on. Lacey becomes disheartened with writing erotic novels as she doesn't have much experience on her own and wants to change it up but Olly will have no such thing. He goes as far as videoing her while he's having sex! She decides she needs to get her own experiences and this is where the story gets even hotter. Let me just say woah! I loved how Olly was with Lacey. Hell I loved that it involved MM, MF, and MFM

I love how different this story is. While yes it's mostly about Olly and Lacy getting their heads out of their butts and admitting they have feelings. It's also about Lacy discovering her dirty side in real life.
Adele may have made a book stalker. lol I'm only 2 books in and I'm already hooked! And that dirty talk though! Ugh all the yes!!

I don’t know what it is about dirty talk but also the angst and the tension build up between best friends and when that finally breaks ugh it’s so hot. Plus you add in a forbidden professor on top of it all… and then the boyfriends become boyfriends. I swear this just kept getting better and better.

For real though, this was fast and spicy. I wouldn't mind hearing more from Olly and Lacey. Seriously a book just about Olly and his escapades would probably be hot AF...and you can't get Olly without Lacey!
As I was listening I couldn't help but get a tiny bit annoyed, like are yall blind.... just get together all ready!

Another spicy novella for anyone with a short attention span like me. The audiobook is really good and both narrators do a stupendous job. Definitely lots of tropes going on in this one (best friends and teacher/student mainly). Thanks to @netgalley for my ALC.

Can we please talk about how HOT Teddy Hamilton narrated as Olly. Oh mah lawd, it was sooo goood. GOD TIER. PEAK. I had to ROLLLLL in grass because WHEW, it was getting hot at work when I was reading it (yea i read erotica at work, no i have no shame because I have the poker face of a statue)

It's simply a male/female best friend pair and a whole lotta spice lol Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood did an amazing job narrating, I felt all the feels that a book like this should ring outta you 🩷 it's definitely worth a listen.

This one worked better for me, mostly because the dynamic was more interesting and the execution more confident. Again, it’s a novella, again it’s filthy, and again it wastes absolutely no time getting to the point.
Lacey and Ollie are best friends, students, and walking sexual tension. Lacey is an author who writes romance and erotica but lives a comparatively quiet, studious life. Ollie, meanwhile, is out there doing the practical research, hooking up with anyone and everyone and then reporting back so she can turn his experiences into stories. Yes, it’s exactly as loaded as it sounds.
The audiobook deserves special mention here because the duet narration elevates everything. Having voices like Teddy Hamilton involved means this gets straight down to business and never lets up. The pacing is relentless in the best way, and the chemistry feels playful rather than forced.
There’s a professor involved, there’s blurred boundaries, and there’s a lot of mutual realisation packed into a very small word count. Is it subtle? Absolutely not. Is it fun, filthy, and self-aware? Very much so.
Short, sharp, and surprisingly effective for what it is.

This was such a cute, spicy little novella. Short, steamy, and basically the perfect “one more chapter” bedtime treat or before date night mood setter!

Another quick and filthy read from Adele. This one was spicy as heck and I had so much fun reading it. Olly and Lacey were adorable together, I loved their push and pull and clear mutual attraction/love for each other. Then we threw in their naughty professor and things heated up so freaking fast.
This was more of a happy for now, but I could totally see these three spending lazy Sunday mornings in bed together for the rest of forever.
The audio was perfect. Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton are always a fantastic pairing, especially duet style narration. I loved this listen. Thank you so much to Must Love Audio for the advanced copy!!
