I am loving these short stories from Lola. They are fast paced and full of enough story and romance. I can’t get enough of the Feral Pack and these rejected wolves. Each deserves a happily ever after and all the happiness. This one follows Graham and Stella and I enjoyed this from the first to last page.
Definitely cute, I’d love to find a Werewolf-Man in fuzzy s’mores pjs ❤️❤️❤️ the blushing is cute too!! Love she’s all artsy in the fun way 🎨🖌️ I loved it, a wee-bit more serious than the first one, but I appreciate the differences and originality!! 🍿🍿🍿 can’t wait for #3, these are so fun😉
My fav: “What do you think the future will look like for us?” “Happy.” His response was easy, but the simplicity made my smile wider. “That sounds pretty good to me.” 🐺💚💙🐺
The Artsy Girl’s Guide to Mating with a Werewolf by Lola Glass 📖 Format: eBook ⭐ Rating: 4 stars
This is the second book in The Bookish Girl’s Guide to Mating with a Werewolf series, and it follows the friend of the first book’s main character. She’s already a werewolf, but life hasn’t been easy — her ex was abusive, and she and her wolf had to escape him. Later, he goes psycho and they have to deal with him permanently, which was intense and heartbreaking.
When she goes searching for her friend from the first book, her wolf instincts take over and start hunting Graham, a werewolf who’s hesitant after a previous mate experience. It takes months before their connection fully develops, but when it finally does, it’s super sweet. He’s been obsessed with her from the beginning, and their reunion is both romantic and adorable — he even gives her matching PJ pants, helps manage her art business, and moves her supplies to his place to make life easier for her.
While the romance is heartwarming and the story charming, I didn’t connect with this one quite as much as the first book. It lacked the extra spark that made The Bookish Girl’s Guide to Mating with a Werewolf so delightful, though it was still a fun, cute, and quick read. I gave it 4 stars and I’m looking forward to the third book in the series!
💬 Final Thoughts: A sweet, charming short romance with swoon-worthy werewolf moments and clever world-building. Perfect for fans of paranormal romance, even if it’s slightly less bookish than the first story.
Just as good as the first one! I really enjoy the characters in this series and can already see how the next one starts. A quick feel good book to get you out of a slump!
The second book in the Mate Hunted series, The Artsy Girl's Guide to Mating with a Werewolf, is a cute, spicy, addition to, what’s proving to be a fun, and very entertaining, series. The Artsy Girl’s Guide, starts where the first book in the series, The Bookish Girl's Guide to Mating with a Werewolf, leaves off. A human, “Bookish Girl”, goes looking for a werewolf after reading a wolf shifter romance. She’s heard rumors of a nearby town where werewolves are supposedly living. Finding herself “mate hunted” by a gorgeous, hunky werewolf, she disappears for days. Her friend, Stella - the “Artsy Girl” - is worried and comes searching for Abby. Arriving in town in Book Two, she’s immediately “mate hunted” but Stella is not exactly what she seems. Another cute, spicy, and extremely sweet novella, that I very much enjoyed. I’m definitely looking forward to the next one!.

I adored the first book and wished it would have been longer so I was thrilled to read this one. Unfortunately for me it missed the mark. It was boring and felt so short. I will read the next one in hopes it’s better than this one.

The Artsy Girl's Guide to Mating with a Werewolf de Lola Glass Serie Mate Hunted libro 2
Argumento:
Me derretí.
The Artsy Girl’s Guide to Mating with a Werewolf is everything I want from a paranormal romance and more. Lola Glass has such a gift for blending humor, heart, and supernatural elements in a way that feels effortless, and this book is a perfect example of why she’s one of my favorite authors.
The main character is wonderfully relatable—creative, a little awkward, and refreshingly grounded. Her artistic perspective adds a unique lens to the story that makes even the more dangerous or intense moments feel colorful and alive rather than heavy. The romance develops at a satisfying pace, balancing attraction, emotional connection, and trust in a way that feels natural instead of rushed or forced. The werewolf love interest is exactly what I hoped for: protective without being overbearing, strong yet emotionally present, and layered enough to feel like a real character rather than a trope. Their dynamic is playful, warm, and emotionally engaging, with plenty of moments that made me smile and just as many that made me quietly root for them.
What really stands out is the tone. The book manages to be cozy, funny, romantic, and suspenseful all at once. The world-building doesn’t overwhelm the story but enhances it, giving just enough depth to the supernatural elements while keeping the focus on character growth and relationships. It’s the kind of book that’s easy to sink into and hard to put down. Overall, this was an absolute joy to read and a standout entry in the series. If you love paranormal romance with heart, humor, and characters you genuinely care about, this book is a must-read.
Lola Glass continues to deliver stories that feel comforting, exciting, and deeply satisfying—and I can’t wait for more.

What can I say? I’m a huge Lola Glass fan, she knows how to set that hook to reel me in.
In ‘The Artsy Girl’s Guide to Mating W/a Werewolf’, Lola Glass gives us Graham, one who’s been rejected by a mate bond—a girl who was all wrong for him, and Stella, one who rejected a mate bond—an abusive male. Graham has a golden retriever type personality, is gorgeous, and very nervous he’s going to be rejected again. Stella is beautiful, prickly—not quite a black cat personality, and leery of men in general.
So, what I love about this story—and the ‘Mate Hunted’ series—is that the feral men/werewolves that live in Moon Ridge, as broken as they are, is not just their gentleness with the women that wind up there, but the focus on their comfort, wellbeing, and happiness. And, before you say it, I know it’s the ‘nature of the mate bond’—but, taking into consideration how completely these men were gutted by their last ‘mate’, I think the author has done an amazing job making their care/concerns for the new potential to-be-rejected-by mate believable. It’s great to see they haven’t totally lost all hope.
At the end of the previous book, we find out that Stella is a werewolf, when she transforms as soon as Graham’s and her eyes meet. She had been searching for Abby, as she didn’t trust male werewolves, as in her experience, they were dangerous. Learning about her past upset me a lot. She knew that most of the Feral pack had been rejected by their mates. She knew that they taught other werewolves things. Stella is a teacher at the local college with Abby, Jade, and a few other women, who are much younger than the normal age, that are usually hired. It is a new program. Graham’s shock at being hunted by Stella is both heartwrenching and hilarious, for which I feel very guilty. I couldn’t help it. Graham has been one of my fave characters since day 1. Abby is fine with Nico, and Stella as her wolf, realizes that Nico is nothing like the males that she knew. I love the nicknames that Stella and Graham think of each other in their forms. lol. It is hilarious. Since Stella is an artist and a hunt takes a long time, Graham goes with Stella’s wolf to her home and begins to pack up her orders. Seeing how he handles everything is just so him. So laid back, so patient, so loving. Seeing how the rest of the Feral pack handles their shock is hilarious. The book is fun, hilarious, exciting, romantic, sweet, and steamy. I loved it. I have pajama envy btw. lol. Maya is wonderful and scary in her own way. As is Jade, but for very different reasons. The ending was shocking and I can’t wait for the next book.

The Artsy Girl’s Guide to Mating with a Werewolf by Lola Glass is a story about healing after hurt, trusting love again, and finding humor even when fate throws a clawed curveball your way.
Stella isn’t your typical heroine. She’s an artist, a teacher, and a survivor who’s done with letting anyone—especially werewolves—control her. After escaping an abusive mate bond, she’s built a life around safety and solitude. But when her best friend goes missing, she charges straight into danger and runs headfirst into Graham—a shy, golden-retriever-hearted werewolf who’s every bit as nervous about rejection as she is about love.
What follows is pure magic: equal parts hilarious and heartwarming. Graham’s gentleness is the perfect counter to Stella’s sharp edges. Watching him slowly earn her trust, not with dominance or demands, but with patience and kindness, is deeply satisfying. Their relationship feels like watching sunlight melt frost—slow, steady, and beautiful. And when their wolves finally recognize each other? Let’s just say it’s a mix of comedy, chaos, and pure chemistry.
Lola Glass does something special here—she balances trauma and tenderness with humor and hope. Stella’s dry wit and Graham’s anxious sweetness make them a perfect pair, and the supporting cast (especially the Feral pack) brings just the right mix of warmth and mischief. It’s a reminder that even in a world full of monsters, love can be the safest place of all.

A lovely short but fantastically spicy romantasy by Lola Glass with another from the "Feral Pack". Lola’s stories are always so well written with humour, romance and human nature (worries, insecurities, etc causing problems) and this one is no different. It's full of drama, wonderful characters with brilliant chemistry, second chances at love, friendships, sexy wolf shifters, overly possessive wolves, heaps of humor, cheeky banter and spice💖. Again, I couldn't put down and would strongly recommend.
Stella is worried about her friend mating with one of the feral wolves, after she'd had a very bad experience with her mating which meant she was now living alone. But when she goes to check on Abby she finds herself looking a green-eyed Graham, in s'more pajama bottoms, and her normally cautious wolf stating "Mate" before shifting and starting her own mate hunt.
Graham had been rejected by his first mate and never expected to find another so he's cautious when Abby's friend shifts and won’t leave him he's careful not to spoil his chances, though he still worries he's going to be rejected a second time.
Stella and Graham are sweet together, with lovely banter between them as they grow to know each other. It was also lovely to see some more of the Moon Ridge pack again.

This book is second in the Mate Hunted book series and is Stella and Graham’s story. They both have a history with rejected mates, she rejected an abusive mate years before and he was rejected by his mate when she realized that she was not into men.
Stella has gone to the Feral Pack lands to find her friend Abby from book 1 of the series. While looking for her, she instead finds Graham, who heard her calling for Abby and came out to help. Stella shifts immediately and so begins her wolf’s hunt for Graham, indicating a mate bond. They, as well as his pack, are shocked by this but Graham is so chill that he quickly accepts what is happening and goes along with it.
This is a sweet and cozy read, very low angst despite both of their pasts with rejected mates. Stella’s wolf takes her in time in claiming him and she is in wolf form during that time. He is patient and sweet and even takes care of her work and business so that she does not lose those aspects of her life while she is in wolf form.
Time goes by and they grow closer. Other things start to happen within both her girl friend group and his pack, setting the scene for the next books in this series.
I liked how sweet and chill and instantly resigned he was to her and their situation. I think that they both liked the hope of having a mate bond that was good and right and something hopeful for a sweet future together.
This is a short and cozy read with a sweet and happy hea!
~I am such a sucker for the books in this world-- especially the ones where the situation is reversed and the woman is the one doing the mate hunt.~
Stella is worried. Her friend Abby (FMC from the previous book) went off to look for werewolves. Stella, being a werewolf, rushes off to Abby's rescue and... triggers her own mate hunt. Whoops. Stella is not interested in another mate-- let alone one from the Feral Pack who looks like he's about to puke just by seeing Stella's wolf ready to hunt him. Graham is confused-- he assumed he would be single for the rest of his life and yer Fate has proved otherwise. Can he and Stella make it work-- do they even want to?
These books are delightful! I love the Mate Hunt world and love the MMCs (like Graham) who aren't overly possessive even more. Reading about Graham trying to interact with Stella's wolf was absolutely adorable and such a fun palate-cleanser. I would say though that if you're looking for a book with equal plot and character development that this book may not be for you; this is just a cute little story of two awkward people learning about each-other but there isn't a massive conflict. To me this is a bonus but I just wanted to mention it.
After rejecting her last (abusive) mate, Stella is a werewolf in hiding. Or at least she's laying low. When Abby shacked up with a werewolf from the feral pack, Stella feared the worst. That she being held against her will and the wolf holding her was just as bad as the wolf Stella ran from.
So she heads out to Moon Ridge to rescue her friend. And...her wolf decides the sexy guy with fuzzy pajama pants was EXACTLY the type she wanted for a mate. So she goes all furry and now she's stuck in wolf form with a sweet guy she doesn't know and a friend who is VERY pleased with her werewolf honey (and absolutely didn't need any rescuing).
On Graham's end, he's been rejected once and barely survived it. He doesn't know that he can go through that again if Stella decides to walk away. The good news? Stella's wolf has already chosen him, so he's NOT going to get rejected again. They just have to wait out the hunt until her wolf decides he's trustworthy enough for her bite.
A long hunt that ends up giving these two a chance to get to know one another (even though one of them is in their furry form), a guy who is wildly considerate and caring, and a lady who might initially be a little gun shy about mating, but her wolf knows what she wants. *thumbs up*
Short but addictive so hang on you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Stella is an art teacher at the local college with Abby whom we met in book, one she is a survivor who walked away from controlling werewolves to live her life her way after escaping an abusive mate bound vowing to never commit to another one living in safety, rules set to keep her safe, and solitude. But when her best friend disappeared, she couldn’t just do nothing she put her safety rules aside to find her friend because Abby would do that for her and that is when she meets her mate. Graham sexy as all get out gentle hearted werewolf shier than most do not want the pain of rejection, but he is willing to show her there is more to the mate bond than the control, and he has the patience to show her that no matter what she throws at him he isn’t giving up on them. The more time they spend with and around each other the stronger the bond grows but also he shows her no matter how sharp her edges are he isn’t going anywhere but will her past come back if so will he protect her, will she find her best friend, does he show her what a true mate bond should feel like, and will it lead them to happiness?
A low-angst, fun, spicy, and cozy paranormal romance
Stella goes looking for her friend who she thinks was abducted by a werewolf—picking up from where the previous book left off. Her past experience with her former abusive mate colors her view of fated mates and werewolves. What Stella finds is an extremely happy couple as well as her own surprise werewolf mate.
Her new mate is not what she expected. Graham is shy and sweet. He is not the stereotypical aggressive Alpha but is instead bashful, kind, and laid back. They have both been traumatized by their former potential mates, but Fate has decided to give them both a second chance to find happiness.
They are so cute together as they progress through the mating process. He steps in to help her without a word of complaint, wanting to be a good mate and to earn her trust. Their banter is fun and their relationship feels well earned as it grows from cautious hope to real love and an emotionally satisfying ending—with a little tease of what is coming next in the series!.
