Gro Steinsland has written a very interesting and richly illustrated book about Dovrefjell (the Dovre Mountain) and its place in Norwegian history. Reading the book, I was especially intrigued by Steinsland's retelling and analysis of the old myths and stories in which Norwegian people and early kings in part decend from the Dovre giants. So far, the book is in Norwegian only.
