A very intriguing novel based around a concept that is equally simple as it is complex (as reflected within the novel). I found the book interesting, especially with the slight narratives about the characters the author created in order to convey the effects of the Confederate States of America had won. It's certainly was a pleasant read. I liked it but nothing particularly sticking out to me. The final chapters and pages were nice as it further explained the perspective and the significance of a small fleeting moment and how it changes us. The execution of this message was probably one of my favorite moments within in the book especially how applicable this message can be in our life if something small had changed.
