This book was a breath of fresh air. Rhett has always been the "to go" guy in town and honestly, really overlooked by the ladies. When he meets Shea (after an unfortunate mishap) the chemistry was instant. It was a slow burn simply due to Shea's hesitation (mainly her timeline).
Rhett is the swooniest book boyfriend. The way he simply showed up for Shea (and her stepbrother Tyler) without being asked, or asking anything in return, is every woman's dream. This book is perfect for fall, and has some serious cozy vibes.
Watching Shay and Tyler finding themselves and coming alive in Montana is what made the story stand out for me. Shay discovered her worth and fought for what she wanted. She also stepped up to make sure that Tyler didn't have the same experience she did growing up.
Short but spicy! Perfect for a lighter romance.

This was such a cozy, feel-good romance and an easy book to binge!
Shea and Rhett had instant chemistry, but I really enjoyed watching their relationship unfold at its own pace. Shea finding her confidence and figuring out what she truly wanted made her journey especially satisfying.
And Rhett? Absolutely charming. He was patient, dependable, and quietly supportive, always showing up for Shea and Tyler without trying to take over. I loved how they both learned to see each other beyond expectations and found something neither was really looking for.
The small-town Montana setting, fall vibes, and chaotic Montgomery family added so much warmth. It’s a quick read that still manages to give you romance, emotion, family, and some fun spice without feeling rushed.

I loved Shea and Rhett so much. Both of them had so much on their plate. And none of it pertained to them personally. So when these two met, her house she was fixing, him being the contractor, I loved that he was immediately attracted to her. That he started thinking about himself and the love he wanted in life. And the same could be said for Shea. She deserved love just as much. Two strong people, both deserving of love, come together. This was so sweet and cozy. I absolutely adored these two.

A sweet small town romance that gives you all the feels and has you rooting for the FMC and MMC. Shea and Rhett are the absolute cutest and I wanted to just hug Shea's fictional neck on how she took in her new step brother and advocated for him.
If you need a book to make you believe in HEAs and gives you the warm fuzzies then this one is for you.

Restored by You was such a warm, cozy little comfort read. Between the small-town Montana setting, fall atmosphere, house renovation, chaotic Montgomery family, found family, and one seriously swoony contractor, I flew through this story.
Shea Winton comes to Montana with a very specific plan. Restore a hundred-year-old house, film the pilot that could launch her dream show, take care of her teenage stepbrother Tyler, and head back to California by Christmas.
Then an unfortunate house mishap brings Rhett Montgomery to her door.
And apparently Rhett's plans are immediately ruined. 😂
Their chemistry is there from the beginning, but I really enjoyed that the relationship still gets time to develop. Shea has goals and an expiration date on her time in Montana, and she's hesitant to start something she already believes has an ending.
Rhett, meanwhile, is very much thinking, I'll give you a reason to stay. 🫠
This man was EVERYTHING.
Rhett is the guy everyone calls when they need something. He's steady, capable, patient, and dependable. But somewhere along the way, being the person everyone counts on has also turned into being the person people take for granted.
He's watched everyone else find love and stopped believing he'd ever be someone's first choice.
Then he meets Shea.
What I loved most about Rhett wasn't simply that he could fix practically anything. It was the way he quietly showed up for both Shea and Tyler over and over again.
No keeping score.
No expectation that Shea owed him something because he helped.
No trying to take over her life.
He listened. He encouraged her. He supported her vision. He noticed what needed doing and simply did it.
And most importantly, Rhett saw Shea.
Not the designer.
Not her father's daughter.
Not the woman trying to launch a television career.
Her.

Shea's journey was just as important to me as the romance. She's ambitious and determined, but she's also spent a lot of time living beneath other people's expectations. Montana gives her the space to start figuring out what she actually wants.
I especially loved her relationship with Tyler.
Shea has so much on her shoulders already, yet she's determined to step up for her teenage stepbrother and make sure he doesn't have the same kind of experience she had growing up. Watching both Shea and Tyler start coming alive in Montana gave this story so much heart.
And then the Montgomerys basically say, Congratulations, you're ours now. 😂❤️
I LOVE a good found family, and this one delivered. The Montgomery family is big, loud, messy, chaotic, and incredibly loving. Watching Shea and Tyler gradually become part of that world made Montana feel like more than the temporary stop Shea originally intended it to be.
It started feeling like home.
I also appreciated that Shea's growth isn't about abandoning her dreams because she falls for a man.
She starts recognizing her own worth.
She finds her confidence.
She fights for what she wants.
And Rhett supports those dreams instead of asking her to make herself smaller so she'll fit into his life.
That made their relationship work for me.
Shea sees Rhett too. She sees beyond the contractor everyone calls when something breaks and recognizes the man underneath all that usefulness. The man who deserves to be wanted for more than what he can do for everyone else.
And while this romance is incredibly sweet and cozy, don't mistake “comfort read” for innocent. 😂🔥
The chemistry between these two is HOT, and those three chili peppers definitely find their way into this little fall romance. Rhett may be quiet and patient, but that's all I'm saying. 🫠🌶️
I also loved the restoration theme woven through the story.
Shea comes to Montana believing she's there to restore an old house.
Instead, she and Tyler begin building lives that actually feel like their own, while Rhett starts believing that maybe he isn't destined to stand on the sidelines of everyone else's happily ever after.
None of them needed someone else to “fix” them.
Sometimes you just need people who see the value that's been there all along.
Restored by You gave me exactly what I wanted from a fall small-town romance. It was quick, cozy, heartfelt, spicy, and filled with characters who made me smile.

I am absolutely obsessed with this series! I can never resist a story centered around a big family, especially one with a bunch of brothers (and a sister). Restored by You is the fourth book in the Montgomery Brothers series, set in a small Montana town. It felt like a found-family Hallmark movie in book form, but without the cringe factor I sometimes get from those films.
Rhett is the dependable brother everyone calls when they need help. He runs a construction company with his brother Levi and is always willing to lend a hand. Shea, Callie's best friend, has moved from California to renovate a house she purchased sight unseen as part of a reality show concept she's developing. She's also caring for her brand-new stepbrother, Tyler. While Rhett comes from a loud, loving, close-knit family, Shea grew up largely ignored by her father and raised by a team of nannies.
When Shea experiences a plumbing issue, Rhett comes to help and never really stops showing up for her after that. My favorite part of the story was watching both Shea and Tyler grow in confidence, develop a genuine sibling relationship, and learn to support one another. I especially loved seeing Shea fight for Tyler's happiness and well-being.
That doesn't mean Rhett and Shea's romance took a back seat. Even though this is a novella, their relationship develops naturally and never feels rushed. Rhett has always felt somewhat overlooked within his family, while Shea has spent her life struggling to live up to expectations because of who her father is. They support each other beautifully, helping one another recognize their value both as individuals and as a couple.
I also loved how the author wove the concept of restoration throughout the story. The theme works on every level: externally through Shea's house renovation, materially through rebuilding and repair, and internally and emotionally through the characters' personal growth and healing. The way the Montgomery family simply welcomed Shea and Tyler into their lives and treated them as if they had always belonged was incredibly heartwarming.
Overall, Restored by You was a sweet, uplifting, and charming addition to the Montgomery Brothers series. The found-family elements, character growth, and heartfelt romance made it such an enjoyable read, and it only made me love this family even more.

I really enjoyed Shea and Rhett's dynamic. Shea is ambitious, independent, and determined to make her dreams happen, while Rhett is the dependable one, the man everyone counts on but who doesn't always feel like he's anyone's first choice. Watching these two slowly get to know each other was one of my favourite parts of the story.
There was something particularly lovely about the way Rhett saw Shea for her, rather than her career or family connections. And Shea gradually discovering that maybe Montana and the people she's found there, could be more than just a temporary stop made their relationship feel genuinely heartfelt.
The found family element was another big highlight for me. Add in the small town setting, an old house waiting to be restored, family responsibilities, plenty of emotional moments, and a lovely autumn/holiday atmosphere, and you've got a romance that's incredibly easy to settle into.

Restored by you felt like a real comfort read. It was so easy to binge, the writing storyline and energy of this book just flowed so effortlessly, that the pages almost turned themselves.
This was a smaller book, (200pages) but it was a really good complete story, we had everything we needed.
I loved the characters in this book, Shea was just just such a loveable FMC, and Rhett well he was everything Shea needed in a contracter ☺️😉. But Honestly Rhett was amazing this MMC was everything. They had amazing chemistry from the start. They both saw each other for who they were not who everyone expected them to be.
Tyler - oh this teenager had my heart, he was written so well. I loved not just the relationship between Shea and Rhett. But that relationship that built between Shea and Tyler. And Tyler and the Montgomery family.
I loved the family dynamics in this book. The heart of this story is about family. Found family. The Montgomery family was loud and chaotic and loving 😍.
I really enjoyed the side characters in this book. I cant wait to read Levis story.
This is book 4 and I have not read any of the previous books, these are interconnected standalones.

There’s something about a hero who doesn’t need to make grand declarations because his actions speak volumes. Rhett Montgomery perfectly embodies this trait.
Shea arrives in Montana with a clear mission: to restore an old house, create the pilot for her dream home renovation show, and prove to herself and especially to her father that she can build something of her own. However, she doesn’t anticipate the arrival of Rhett.
Rhett is the dependable one. The brother everyone turns to when something needs fixing. He’s become so accustomed to taking care of others that he’s convinced himself he doesn’t need someone to choose him.
This part resonated deeply with me.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching Shea and Rhett gradually intertwine their lives. Their relationship blossoms through the small, meaningful moments that make a romance feel authentic working on the house, sharing coffee, attending family dinners, Rhett helping with Tyler, Shea becoming an integral part of the Montgomery family, and Rhett quietly supporting a dream that challenges her perceptions.
The home restoration storyline serves as a charming backdrop, as the entire book revolves around more than just restoring a house. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Shea and Rhett gradually intertwine their lives. Their relationship blossoms through the small, meaningful moments that make a romance feel authentic working on the house, sharing coffee, attending family dinners, Rhett helping with Tyler, Shea becoming an integral part of the Montgomery family, and Rhett quietly supporting a dream that challenges her perceptions.

This was such a nice, light romance, and honestly, exactly what I needed after so many dark books!
As always with me, it’s the MMC who can make or break a story, and oh boy, Rhett definitely made it for me! I love when I can really imagine the hero: his feelings, his expressions, the way he reacts to things and to the FMC… and Rhett was so easy to picture. He was patient, caring, protective, and determined to give Shea a reason to stay, even after so many failures in love.
The chemistry and connection between them were obvious from the first minute they met. They weren’t what either of them expected, but the sparks flew, and boy, did they burn! 🔥🔥🔥 Rhett didn’t care about her name, her career, or who her father was. He just saw Shea. And Shea, who had never really had someone who truly cared for her, decided to give a relationship a try, even if it was only for a few months. Shea came to Montana thinking this project was just a stop on the way to launching her professional career. Little did she know she’d set sail in this small town and find everything she ever wished for. I really liked her, especially the way she stepped up for Tyler. I also love when there’s a child or teenager in a romance because they can bring out the best, and sometimes the worst, in people.
I loved the found-family aspect of this book. The Montgomerys are a huge, loud, loving family with every type of personality you can imagine. They take Shea and Tyler in and make them feel like they belong. This is book 4 in the Montgomery Brothers of Montana, and we finally get Rhett's story. He has been introduced in previous books, and I am so happy to finally see the man who is always in the background holding the pieces together.
This story deals with Shea and Rhett, both of them are in a sort of limbo when the book starts, and grow personally and as a couple as the book progresses. Shea has always lived in the shadows of her dad, now she wants to break free. So, she sets to restore an old house in hopes to launch a show, at the same time she feels this can help her get closer to her teenage stepbrother who needs the attention. She goes into the build with zero experience but a lot of will and hope, until a plumbing incident brings Rhett to her help.
Rhett has always been the reliable brother, the one who works and keeps it all running physically and figuretably, but when he meets Shea he is quickly taken by the girl with the sunshine personality, and he keeps showing up from then on.

I absolutely LOVED this book!! Shea and Rhett completely stole my heart and I was not ready for how much I was going to adore them. 🥹❤️
Shea was such a beautiful character and I loved watching her try to juggle everything she had going on, especially taking in her teenage stepbrother Tyler and making sure he was okay. The way she loved him and stepped up for him honestly made me love her even more. She had so much on her shoulders but she still kept pushing forward and chasing her dreams.
And Rhett!!! 😍 This man was EVERYTHING. Quiet, capable, protective, patient and just ridiculously swoony. The way he saw Shea for HER and not for her career or who her family was just melted me. He wanted her, supported her and was determined to give her a reason to stay, and I was eating it UP.
I loved the whole small-town setting, the fall vibes, the found family feels and watching Shea and Rhett slowly become each other’s safe place. Their chemistry was 🔥🔥🔥 and the spice was definitely doing what it needed to do!

I loved how Shea learnt how to stand on her own feet and stepped outside her father's shadow. And I loved how she and Rhett fit together amazingly. They saw each other and they listened to each other. So despite the initial insta-attraction, it was actually a well-developed love story.
And I am also a sucker for a small town vibes, big and loud family and found family.
The only reason why I can't rate this book higher that 4 stars is that one of the side characters didn't really make sense and stuck out like a sore thumb.
Now I can't wait for Levi's story next and in the meantime I might reach out for the previous books in the series. I really feel like I found a new to me author that I like.

A Hallmark Movie in Paperback Form (And I mean that as a compliment)
This book was super cute. The story moved — the pacing was one of its strongest qualities, and I flew through it without putting it down.
The character growth is what really sold me. Both the MMC and FMC have moments where they surprise you — choosing accountability over excuses, choosing courage over comfort. Those arcs felt earned and real, and I found myself rooting for both of them as individuals, not just as a couple.
There's a quietly fantastic antagonist in this story — someone who genuinely believes they're doing the right thing, when really they're just doing the easy thing. That distinction is such smart writing.
The spice level sits at about a 2, which fit the tone perfectly. My only wish is that the tension between the leads had a few more charged encounters before they gave in — let me ache for them a little longer before the payoff. But otherwise? Solid story arc, genuine character development, and a romance that had me smiling.
The writing was strong about 70% of the time, but I did get pulled out of the story in places where the wrong word was used (e.g., "running ramped" instead of "running rampant"). Minor, but noticeable enough to mention.
The FMC literally acknowledges at one point that their love story is almost like a Hallmark movie — and she's right. If you love that vibe, you'll love this. 💛

I really enjoyed this story with a FMC who was dealing with a chaotic situation, a sexy and dependable contractor hero, and undeniable chemistry. Shea Winton comes to small-town Montana from California with a strict plan to restore a hundred-year-old house, film a TV show pilot, and head back home. But her life gets totally upended by Rhett Montgomery when a flooded house at eleven o'clock at night brings them together, and working closely on the renovations quickly blurs the lines between professional and personal.
I really liked reading about Shea trying to save the house and find her own path away from her father’s shadow, while Rhett definitely knows what he wants… HER! The city-girl-meets-country-boy dynamic made for a really awesome slow burn, especially since Rhett is a total blue-collar cinnamon roll who has stopped waiting to be anyone's first choice. Their forced proximity during the renovation project created so much natural friction and great banter. The chemistry and tension between these two were electric, and when they finally gave in… WHEW! The open-door scenes have a perfect amount of yummy spice, but the book also does a wonderful job with the fall holiday setting and the found-family feels.
If you want a sweet contemporary romance with a lot of heart, I highly recommend giving it a try!

I absolutely loved Butch and Cassidy! The author gives us Mr. Grumpy Pants right from the start, but as you get to know Butch, it becomes pretty obvious why it’s only a matter of time before someone snags him up. His gruff exterior and Cassidy’s personality made their dynamic and chemistry so much fun to read.
As someone who was born and raised—and still lives in Montana, I especially loved all the little Montana touches and mentions of places like Billings. It’s always extra fun when you recognize places in a book and know them personally!
I’m also just getting into small-town romances set in Montana, and this one has definitely become one of my favorites. The spice was SO good, the characters were fantastic, and I loved that the story wasn’t all roses and rainbows. It touches on the ups and downs of life and how things can change when you’re willing to let someone in and allow them to help you.
This was a quick, entertaining read that grabbed my attention and kept me hooked from beginning to end. I’m definitely jumping into Book 2, Duke’s story, ASAP! I’m really hoping we get to see more of Butch and Cassidy throughout the rest of the series because I’m not ready to say goodbye to them yet!

Where do I begin to describe this book. I've never read a book before that I immediately wanted to reread again. I absolutely love the story between Shea and Rhett. Their relationship to me just feels like pure joy and bliss. It seemed like they had an immediate attraction for each other from the very start and the fact that they were interracial couple never became a really big deal we knew that they were interracial couple and when they were just left it there that was not a big highlight of this book which made me love it even more. Facebook felt almost like a Hallmark movie but a little bit more spicy not too much spice which made the story even more endearing. I really loved how she looked out for her step brother made him feel important and gave him a voice. Her dad was not around very much when she was growing up and he always thought he knew what was best but in the end he realized he did not know what was best for his daughter who was a grown woman in her late twenties. I just want to thank the author and the publishing company for allowing me an in advance copy of this book I have never read this author's work before but from reading this lets me know that I will look forward to reading even more.

OMG, the minute Rhett spilled his soul to Shea, I lost it! 😭 I felt every bit of emotion in his confession to her.
I understood why Shea felt the way she did after going to his job site to return his phone, but Rhett definitely overreacted—as his brother Levi was more than happy to point out. I think Levi forced Rhett to realize something he wasn’t ready to admit and finally made him stop and think about what he truly wanted.
From the beginning of their “relationship,” you could tell there was something deeper between them than either was willing to acknowledge. Neither Rhett nor Shea planned to fall for the other, but their hearts clearly had plans of their own. Shea only wanted to restore the house for her show, and Rhett was only supposed to be her contractor. We all know how well “only” and “supposed to” work in a romance novel. 😂
They both knew this had become more than their original arrangement, and they wanted it to be more—they were simply too scared to admit it. Sure, they could have started a real relationship as soon as Shea arrived and had those plumbing problems, but what kind of delicious slow-burn romance would that have been? 🔥
I loved the way their relationship developed and how Rhett continued to show up for Shea through everything. When the truth about her connection to his current contract finally came to light, they were both understandably apprehensive about what it could mean for them. However, they also recognized that their connection began before either of them fully understood who the other was. What they had built together was real, regardless of how complicated everything had become.
I have loved this series from the beginning, and the Montgomery brothers continue to steal my heart. I adore the way they interact with one another and with their significant others. This entire family is always ready to step in, offer support, and show up whenever one of them needs help.

It follows Shea as she heads out to Montana to fix up an old house and film her dream project, hoping to turn a pilot into a career. Her father pushes her into bringing along her new teenage stepbrother Tyler.
Rhett, the local contractor who is dependable, patient, and is everything Shea needs. Their chemistry is brilliant right from the start, and I loved how they both see each other for who they truly are without any fake judgements.

I absolutely loved Shea and Rhett! Their chemistry was so good, and I really enjoyed watching their relationship go from “you are seriously getting on my nerves” to “wait… why am I falling in love with you?” 😂 Rhett was the perfect combination of quiet, dependable, and secretly romantic, and Shea had just enough chaos to keep things interesting.
The house renovation was such a fun part of the story, and I loved how it gave Shea and Rhett plenty of reasons to spend time together. Add in the teenage stepbrother, the found-family feels, small-town charm, and all the fall vibes, and this was exactly the kind of romance I wanted.
And let’s not forget the SPICE. 👀🔥 Because Rhett may have been quiet, but that man definitely had something to say when it counted!

Restored by you is a quick, cozy, small-town romance. Shay was a sweet character that was just trying to make her name known on her own and not due to her rich, powerful father. Shay has a great plan to restore an old house and make a show out of it. She ends of having troubles with her current contractor and then here comes in Rhett to save the day. Rhett and his family are well known in the town and have their own construction business. Rhett is already working on Shay’s father’s resort and now takes on the contractor business and helps Shay. They are too cute for each other and it’s a cute, sweet romance developing. Shay makes a name for herself and also is the best step-sister to stick up for her new sibling Tyler so he doesn’t have to grow up under the same circumstances as Shay. She not only falls in love but she builds a great relationship with her new sibling. I thought the story was a cute, cozy love story and trying to get your name out there on your own and not being given everything since your fathers name is big out there in the world of resorts.

Shea and Rhett had amazing chemistry and made their romance one that kept me glued to the pages. Shea comes to Montana ready to fix up a house, film her pilot, tend to her family duties and get right back to California. She didn’t exactly anticipate Rhett Montgomery throwing everything she wanted upside down.
Rhett is easily my favorite character. He’s that reliable, shy guy that everyone comes to but never feels like anyone’s top pick. Watching him slowly let Shea into his heart was perfection. I adored the way he looked past her career, her family reputation and city life to see her.
Their relationship progresses slowly and beautifully. There’s sexual tension, swoon-worthy, feels and of course that small-town vibe that makes a romance novel feel warm and cozy. I loved watching Rhett try to convince Shea she has a reason to stay while Shea dealt with everything trying to send her back home.

Rhett was such a sweetheart. Quiet, capable, dependable, and definitely deserving of being someone’s first choice. I loved how he saw Shea for her, rather than just seeing her as her father’s daughter or a successful designer.
And her father?
Ridiculous.
I really felt for Shea, especially with everything she was trying to juggle, including the stepbrother her dad essentially dumped on her.
However, the found-family aspect was probably one of my favorite parts. There was just something so warm about everyone coming together and becoming the family Shea didn’t realize she needed.

We’re back with those brooding Montgomery men, and leading us into Restored by You is the handsome construction company owner, Rhett Montgomery. He is all the green flags, and how he’s still single is baffling! He loves hard and falls deep fast and when he saw Shea for the first time, he knew he was already in trouble. Shea was supposed to be temporary, only in town to complete the restoration project and then go back to her life in California, funny how nothing goes to plan, first the house springs a leak, then her contractor is a no show and then she goes and falls head over heels for Rhett. All the family found vibes in this one, love how all the Montgomery’s bring Shea and her step brother Tyler into their fold, no questions asked. Rhett is a dreamboat and the gorgeous Shea doesn’t stand a chance surviving him and moving back to California and I couldn’t be happier with that! She gets her own HEA and to stay in town with her bestie.

I read this book as a standalone in the series. I did not find the story lacking because of it, but I know that I would know the characters better if I had read books 1-3 first.
This book was a perfect way to spend a rainy day. I finished it in less than a day. This book follows Rose and Rhett. Rose is a woman wanting to start her own tv show restoring old houses. Rhett is a contractor that helps her with the house. They have an instant connection and their story is so pure.
I loved the characters. The relationship between Rose and her new step-brother was probably my favorite. Rose is determined to get him out of his shell and get to know him. She is also determined to include him in her plans for the house she bought. Rhett is the perfect man for her. The best thing about him in my opinion is how he always showed up, no matter what, no matter what time.
