Finding Forevermore: A Christian Friends-to-More Road-Trip Romance About Second Chances

Rate this book

Her family secrets. His guilt. One road trip that changes everything.

Raven Cunningham has built a quiet life between the shelves of a small-town bookshop, ghostwriting stories for others while hiding her own. She’s long believed her father abandoned her, until a letter from her late grandmother reveals a shocking truth.

Convinced the reclusive author J.C. Nevermore is her father, Raven sets out to uncover the real story. When her childhood friend Cole Walker, an Army Ranger medic wrestling with his own scars, offers to help, she’s not sure if she can trust him . . . or herself.

As they chase clues and revisit old memories, what begins as a search for answers becomes a journey toward something deeper.

Finding Forevermore is a heartfelt story about faith, family, and the kind of love that’s anchored in God’s unfailing grace.

Praise for Finding Forevermore

Kelly Jo Wilson's debut novel is one full of faith and second chances. As the two friends go on a road trip to find some needed answers, they're forced to confront their feelings in all the areas they've been hiding. I absolutely loved this sweet contemporary romance by Kelly Jo Wilson. This was such a page-turner romance that I will most definitely pick up again and again. I got the honor of being a beta reader for Finding Forevermore. There is such a powerful message of how God meets us in our brokenness and mess to make us whole again. I have to give this perfect Fall-ish cozy romance a perfect 5 stars.

A mix between romance of long-time friends, faith, and mystery. I felt like there was something missing when I finished it. What happens with her mom for example. Quotes I liked:
“But love is a choice. It’s showing up when no one else does. Maybe God’s path isn’t meant to be clear. Maybe it’s meant to hurt, tug, rip apart everything until there’s only one thing you can do. Get on your knees and surrender.”
“Sometimes God shows you just enough of the path to get you curious. But you must take the next step, even if you can’t see where it leads.”

Finding Forevermore is a sweet story. Raven works at a bookstore and writing her first book. She is given some unexpected news that takes her on journey to find out about her family. Cole is home from the Army recovering. He and Raven have been friends since childhood. This story is about friends, family and a road trip. I will be looking forward to reading more by Kelly Jo Wilson. Happy Reading.

A good contemporary romance with two characters meeting again after many years. They've both grown since they parted years ago, but they still haven't learned how to admit things to each other. Now, they're dealing with more personal tragedy, and if they're going to push through it, they'll need to trust each other.

I enjoyed Raven and Cole's story of finding Forevermore. I loved the sweet romance of learning to trust one another after being hurt by one another. They support one another through her family drama and his PTSD from his military service. It's warm and cozy with secrets, road trips, mysteries, and drama. . . Perfect for an afternoon read.

A story of two people with issues of trust and fear and remorse. Great characters with a moving story of forgiveness and overcoming the trials that we face. This was my first story by this author but definitely not my last.
*This was an audiobook and the narration was well done.

This was a fantastic Contemporary Christian fiction book! The story was believable and the characters were heartwarming. I was able to listen to a copy of this book via Bookfunnel, but it did not in any way affect my review. All opinions are my own.
