An informative and quick read on the history of humantiy's relationship with the apex predators, sharks. It drives home the lesson that we should respect these fascinating creatures and all of nature whenever we step into our world's oceans. It's well paced and well written, suitable for all reading levels.

The book does frequently discuss matters of death, dismemberment, blood loss, and bodies being lost to the sea. It speaks plainly on these topics without going into incredible depth. However, such topics could be triggering and should be considered before beginning to read.
