Helping the Psychos’ enemy should’ve gotten me killed. Slash would’ve dragged me to the Shed for my punishment too, if he hadn’t grown a conscience. How could he accuse me of being a snake when he was sleeping with me behind Skeeter’s back? There were so many secrets and lies between us all now.
To make matters worse, Hunter and Marco kept appearing when I was alone. Trying to hate two men that I knew nothing about was hard. Until they showed their true colors and targeted the Psychos. There was no way I’d allow them anywhere near me now that they’d started making moves like that.
I had to focus on my guys, but all the lies were making it hard. Tyler was spiraling, Lukas was facing off with his mother, and both Caden and Jensen were trying to be their strength. Truths about my mom started to come out, making my world start to crumble. Nothing could get worse, right?
My name’s Rory Donovan, and the Satan’s Soldiers crew just rolled into town. One wrong bullet will cause war to come to Ashburn Valley.
*Twisted Fate is a 100k word dark romance why choose story, and is book 3 out of 12. You must read the series in order. There are dark themes and adult content. There are multiple M/M relationships within the group.
R.E. Bond is a dark romance author from Tasmania, Australia. She is obsessed with reverse harem books, especially if they have m/m! She collects paperbacks as a hobby, has read or written every day since she started high school, and constantly needs music in her daily life. She loves camping and rodeos in the summer, and not getting out of bed in the winter. Coffee and books are life, and curse words are just sentence enhancers.
This is hands down my favorite series. Twisted Fate was SO good.
Watching Rory and her guys grow together has been amazing. The spice is hot, but the development of the dynamics is nice to see. The drama and tension has me constantly turning the pages to see how things are going to unfold.
Once again, that ending absolutely wrecked me. I feel all the feels. Cannot wait until the next one is out!
So I know I’ve technically read this book before since this is a rewrite of the original series. But damn that ending still hurts like hell to read.
In this book we get to see Rory grow more into herself and how her relationship relationships with each of the guys is progressing or starting.
Hunter and Marco, are still spouting what they were about Skeet and the Psychos when none of them have any clue what the hell the two of them are talking about.
We saw the conflict before the relationship for Rory and Hunter and Marco. We saw how it’s definitely gonna be a long road to get the three of them to be in a relationship, especially with Skeet and how much he now hates them. Especially after the ending.
Slash really stepped up his game and proved how jacked up he’s been treating Rory and how he’s trying to make up for his past actions.
I will say one thing I noticed is this series so far has been heavy on each book essentially being about one group of guys. If that makes sense? Rory essentially has three different groups of guys in her life. The rich pricks as Skeet calls them or the princes which includes Caden, Lukas, Jensen and Tyler. The Psychos to include, Diesel, Skeet and Slash. And then her final group Hunter and Marco.
And then, of course, a new threat rolled into town. So it’s gonna be interesting to see how everything plays out from here essentially being that all of the books are completely different now.
I also really hope that Rory’s relationship with Lexi progresses the same way did the first time. I feel like that’s how they got really close and how they became Besties essentially. But it’s also funny to me that they’re Besties when basically all of the women in this world only like hanging out with guys.
I just can’t wait for the next book and I absolutely love the series to pieces and I will reread it until I’m no longer on this earth
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Once again RE has ripped my heart out and made me sob with her writing. I will forever love the original series, but this rewrite is everything. The emotional depth in the characters and how you can connect to them is next level. I love the Slash story arc and how RE rewrote it. We see so much into his character and though process as well with Skeet that is makes me love them even more. The same is said for Tylor and the deep emotions he feels.
Another change I love is the push pull between Jensen and Lukas and Lukas finding his way to not feeling shame for his feelings for Jensen. The other part that is interesting is how much more confrontation Rory has with Hunter. Literally I cannot applaud the depth of emotional enough in this book. It is by far my favorite book so far in the series. With how the book ended I cannot wait for the 4th to see how the next part of story plays out. There is a part of the old series that broke my heart and I am wondering if this will be written out of the series or not. I kinda hope it is removed because it did not make me feel right and I don’t think it would fit well with how Skeet is now written.
On top of the emotional depth the spice is absolutely scorched earth hot. They are not afraid to get dirty and rough. And the action is grabbing and makes you want to read more
Literally do not sleep on this series because it is absolutely one of my favorites I have read.
This book starts right where Deceptive Games ended. There's plenty of drama, found family, spice, hilarious banter, a lot of secrets, and tons of emotions!
In this one, we see Rory kind of finding a balance between everything. She has a lot of guys that she has to spread her time around with. There's crew drama, relationship stuff, and school to deal with. It's a lot, and then add on the secrets she has with certain people, and she's in deep. We see and learn more about other crews. Plus, we get more info on some characters, including some really sad backstories.
We see the relationships growing with everyone, and not just between the guys and Rory. We see them all coming together to help Lukas and Tyler. There are a couple of bromances that are everything. The found family that they've formed is growing, and they're all maturing and learning to lean on each other. This book is quite the emotional rollercoaster. A lot happens, and I promise you'll be angry, sad, laugh, smile, and have to fan yourself. The banter and one-liners are classic R.E. Bond and will have you dying laughing.
Be prepared... this ending/cliffhanger will have you bawling! The whole last chapter is fast and had my heart racing. The emotions are strong and vividly described throughout it. I was a wreck by the last word. I can't wait for the next book!
We pick up right where we left off after Deceptive Games, and the story just keeps building, the banter, the found family, the tension, the drama, and all the emotions are turned up even more in this book.
Rory is trying to find her footing while juggling a lot. She’s splitting her time between all her guys, dealing with school issues, navigating crew drama, and trying to figure out why a new crew has suddenly shown up in town. On top of that, she’s searching for answers about her mom, keeping secrets, and dealing with the fact that Max has been spotted back in town.
One of my favourite parts of this book is the growth in Rory’s relationships with each of the guys. Watching those connections deepen was so satisfying. The bromances forming between all the guys added another layer that makes the group dynamic even better. The maturity and character growth across the board is great to see.
This book packs a lot in. You’ll laugh, get angry, smile, kick your feet, and the spice is definitely spicy. And yes… you might even cry. (I know I did.)
Be warned: this book ends on a cliffhanger that will absolutely wreck you. I read the OG version and knew what was coming, and it still felt like my heart was ripped from my chest. Keep the Kleenex nearby.
I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book to see what happens next!
Every book that RE Bond puts out is just amazing how she is able to layer the characters and storyline to keep you reading and pulls you straight into the world that she able to build. Rory Donovan is my absolute favorite FMC in any why choose series I have ever read and the rewrite that the author has given us just gives us so much more than the OG series and made me fall in love all over again. Rory amazes me in that she was dealt a really crappy life, her dirtbag father and continually finds trouble (not always intentionally) but she does not know when to give up….she just keeps fighting that goes after what she wants. But the back story and relationships between all the guys from Caden, Lukas, Tyler and Jensen to getting more storyline about Skeet, Slash, Diesel, Hunter and Marco as well as the crews. Everyone thinks the rich guys have it all and to see some of the internal struggles that they each have but are able to support each other is one of those things in the book that just draw you in more and more. There is bromances, action, suspense, secrets, other crews, banter, spice…oh the spice (fans self) but there are also some emotional and pivotal moments in the storyline. I can’t wait to see what new stuff we get in Book 4 but this book has been amazing to read with all the new material. 10/10 stars
I feel like I am reading a whole new series now that RE Bond is re-writing the whole thing.
I almost feel like I'm experiencing everything again for the first time.
I am absolutely loving the development between all the guys and Rory. Tyler and Rory's relationship has progressed so much more and is more fully developed compared to the original story. Rory is the grounding force for Ty as he works through so many issues stemming from his family, this includes his warring attention seeking behavior and his clear abandonment issues.
Also the big one is Rory's involvement with Slash. And her budding "friendship with Diesel". I love that the development with Diesel is slow burning and we get see something actually brewing.
There's no skimping on the spice because holy ish do they guys love being with Rory but shew Rory. Take a break, girl.
The cliffhanger was awfully wicked and my heart hurts, I didn't throw my kindle this time around but a curse fell from my lips as I hit that last page.
I absolutely adored this book, Rory is phenomenal in juggling her guys while also battling her way through the crew drama.
Rory’s relationships are building even stronger, I loved the way she is with each of the guys - they are all so different and her relationship with each one is unique. I especially liked the acceptance by them all, it was mesmerising to see how they supported Lukas and Tyler.
Thera a new crew in town, so everyone is on alert for danger and are cautious about why they have moved into their area. Rory definitely has her hands full with her guys, the crew crap, school drama and also trying to locate her birth mum.
The emotion and detail in the storyline really pulled at my heart strings, I definitely had tears from reading a few scenes. Then I was laughing from the way Rory is so direct and doesn’t take no crap. The constant danger, the twists and suspense had me on the edge of my chair. The cliffhanger ending left me screaming for more - can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Going into book 3 you see a lot of character development for both Rory and all of guys and you get to see all of the individual relationships developing within the group. - get to see a “gentler” side to Skeet (well Rory does XD) - you see Lucas becoming his own person and trying to better his mindset - we get to see Ty struggling with his abandonment issues - We have building attraction between Rory and D and also her and Hunter - Rory trying to figure out more about her past - we also see more of Hunter and Marco and their clash with the Slash and Skeet It is definitely action packed and there is never a dull moment! This book had me glued to my kindle for 2 days binge reading and ending on a heartbreaking cliffhanger. I love this series and would definitely recommend to anyone needing a wild adventure with a bad*** FMC and her guys who would burn the world for her. Now to wait for book 4!

I love being back in this world after reading the OG versions and seeing all the changes and how much Rachs writing has grown!!
Twisted Fate is book 3 in the Watch Me Burn series. This is a dark why choose romance.
The way I want to be Rory when I grow up!!!
We pick up right where we left off in Deceptive Games and its non stop the whole way thru!!! Rory and her guys are dealing with so much and juggling relationships with their lives is hard but they make it look easy sometimes! I couldn't have as many men as Rory has in real life, but in my fictional, delulu brain, i could totatlly have them all😂
Soooooo much happens in this book and that cliffhanger will have you ready to cry and pull your hair out, but no pain, no gain right??
This series is forever one of my roman empire series and I need everyone to read it and fall in love with this world and these characters! You won't regret it!
I am loving these rewrites of these by this author. I loved this series before and I feel like these are so much more. This book starts where the last one left off and get ready for a ride.
Rory has a lot to navigate with the guys and life, throw in crew drama and other crews sniffing around and she has her hands full.
We see her interactions with Slash more and Diesel and Rory's friendship is just the best. The guys are all starting to come together more and some a little more than others.
There is a lot of spice and drama with other people too. But Rory is hiding some things from others that might just cause more problems. Be ready to go in this holding on to your seat and a cliffhanger that will definitely cause some hard reactions. Great book and cannot wait for the next one!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ TWISTED FATE, book 3 of the WATCH ME BURN series by R.E. Bond, is an emotional roller-coaster. For those who read the original series before the rewrites, you know what is coming. Just a warning, it hits even harder this time with a deeper emotional connection. I seriously love that this time around, we get to see a little more of their relationships beyond the spice. We also get more backstory this time and a great bonding connection between Rory and Josie. These characters have always been some of my favorites, but the rewrites have given them more depth. I also love that we get to see more of the friendship dynamic between the guys. I can't wait to see where the rewrites go from here.
R.E. Bond has a way of leaving you reeling, and desperate for more. This book starts off right where we left off in the previous book and honestly leaves you on the edge of your seat. You have drama, found family, secrets, and rivals going on. We get to see the characters come together, Rory and her men become closer & how much she’s down to protect skeeter & the crew. Slash and Rory have a complicated relationship and the cliffhanger will leave you wanting to throw your phone. The question is, with the rival gang stating Rory was sold to them, the power shift in the psychos, Rory’s relationship between all of her men, will she make it out okay? I can’t wait to read the next installment and see where it takes us.
I cant stop my addiction to this series. Its so lively, action filled, lust driven, heated temprements, drama, chaos and humour. Rory is kickass as ever ans the guys are perfection. The individual relationships she has with each is magical and i especially love all the different nicknames they use for her, it really sells the depth of the relationships in the book. A big harem still growing, shes a busy gal and a magnet for trouble with tensions between the rich boys and the street rats and the gang wars forever on the horizon. One of my all time favourite series having the most amazing rewrite, can never recomend enough ❤️
Once again our girl has got herself into hot waters. So much has happened in this book. Action packed! But her and Slash are playing with fire and I’m scared out that will turn out for the both of them. On another note, am I terrible that I want her with Hunter and Marco as well?! There is just something about them that makes me want them added to the group. I know she’s juggling a lot of guys right joe but what’s two more. I really want to know the beef Hunter and Marco have with Skeeter. The way this ended though was crazy and I don’t want to believe what happened. Cause why?!?!? I need the next book in my hands ASAP!
Twisted Fate by R.E Bond is book 3 in the Watch Me Burn series. This book picks up right where we left off in book 2, Deceptive Games. I absolutely loved this book and felt like I was reading a whole new story as I read the OG version. R.E. really gave us more with this book and I am OBSESSED. She really gave a more in-depth version with the characters. This series has always been a favorite of mine and I can't wait to get my hands on the next one. If you love your FMCs with a bad chick vibe who loves with a fierce loyalty and your MMCs with devotion for their girl then this series is a MUST HAVE!
I love this. I loved the original versions of this series and I love the rewrite even more. I love the feeling of reading something for the first time and being on the edge of your seat, I love having that again in this rewrite. Yes We know what's happening and gonna happen but all the emotions are there and so much more though out. Its cleaned up and more clear.
Getting to go through all of the chaos again and remembering why I absolutely love this series is the best. I honestly can't wait to see what more changes our author Queen has up her sleeve.
Holy moly! Picking up right where we left off, the story continues with what's come to be expected for anything Bond writes... banter, sarcasm, found family, drama, violence, spice, an emotional rollercoaster and sooooooo many secrets. This book dives a little deeper into the backgrounds of some of the characters, their traumatic pasts. And we watch Rory struggling to juggle everything going on in her life. A great continuation in the series and I can't wait for the next one!! (It's like reading a whole new series if you read the original).
My heart. Oh my heart. Bond blows Me away everytime I read one of her books but Rotys story just gets me in the feels. This book brings it…. Not just for Rory but her guys too. This dark romance has full of dirty deeds, reckless moments and sweet loving moments that get you all in the feels. Pretty sure Bond is trying to rip my heart out for with this one. The cliffhanger is epically emotional tha takes everything to y next level. Hands down one of my favorite series ever.
Rory Donovan doesn’t know how to keep her mouth shut. She keeps walking into danger without a care in the world. Her relationship with Skeeter puts her life in danger by many in his crew. Things are getting tense in Twisted Fate the third book in the Watch Me Burn series.
This has been rewritten so I knew some of the big story moments that were going to happen but it still breaks me. Plus all the added content has made this series even better than what it was before.
I absolute loving the re-writes of this series 🖤 it’s 1 of my absolute favourite series ever and I feel like I’m reading it again for the first time.
I love the world, I love the characters. The spice is next level hot 🥵 so much violence which is part of the amazing storyline and just a rollercoaster of events. It even made me cry.
I love Rachs writing style. It’s so easy to get lost in her worlds and feel like you are apart of it 🖤 I’m so excited for the rest of the books.
Oh the author is pure evil with the ending on this book. Yes I knew it was coming but still made me cry.
Rory’s story just keeps getting better. She’s tough and feisty but she inserts herself in the worst possible scenarios. Want to shake her but then she wouldn’t be herself.
Despite the ending, I found myself laughing so hard. Because this may be a brutal world but the characters just deliver.
Rory just keeps collecting men like Pokémon’s. Just as Rory is starting to feel settled she get jarring news and set her on a spiral. Thankful she has a few guys to help catch her. But getting wrapped up in crew business doesn’t help anything. And of course it wouldn’t be an RE Bond book without the cliffhanger. Bring on book 4!
Rory is a spitfire and she will keep you turning the pages to see what she will do next. Her collection of men has grown and you see the dynamic between Rory and each man deepen and their ability to make her the center strengthens. Add in the lighter side of Slash (well... I mean as light as the leader of an MC can be!). I am loving the new depth to the characters that RE has given them!
Rory is getting in deeper with Slash, Skeeter, Caden, Tyler, Lukas, and Jensen. Hunter and Marco keep showing up and making things more difficult for her. She’s trying to find her mom and keeping her eye out for her dad. Her chemistry with and feelings for the guys continues to grow. Secrets still abound and new danger shows up. Loved it!!!
Holy wow, I am completely speechless. I have absolutely always LOVED this series and characters. This one was soooo good!! The ending has me speechless and shocked though and making me try not to cry. I don't know how I'm going to be able to wait for the next one to come out! So good and I can't wait to read more!
Have I read this series before the re-writes? Yes. Did it stop me from bawling like a baby at THAT part? No. Somehow Bond made you connect and love the characters more this time around and made it much more horrible to read the ending. I can't wait to see how Skeet and Rory's relationship evolves after this as truths come to light and rivals get closer.
I have read this series before RE did a re write and now again. I loved them the first time and I am so excited to read them in a new way now. Both will always hold a special spot in my reading heart. I’m enjoying getting a deeper understanding of Rory. If you enjoyed reading the published work first time you will not be disappointed. If you are new hold on and enjoy!
I absolutely love this story just as much as I did the original. Love how much more in depth in the story we get. Picking up right where book two left off at Rory and her guys still are pulling and break my heartstrings. And now I’m dying to get my hands on book four. I very very highly recommend this book/series! Definitely one of my all time favorites!
