Knot Enough

I’m the daughter overlooked. In a world where omegas are valued, I’m tossed aside when I never present. My daily routine is mundane—until my father tells me he got me a pack meeting, something strictly for omegas. It’s ludicrous, and I have no choice.

But that’s the least of my worries when a bag is thrown over my head. Rath may be my captor, but Kane, Oak, and Axel don’t stop him. They are set on exacting revenge—but on the wrong woman. I haven’t committed any of the crimes they accuse me of, and when their scent drives my instincts crazy, I’m forced to face the the ones who were meant to love and protect me would become my ruin.

This book is a standalone dark why choose omegaverse, and it's FMMMMM.

How are you gonna ask someone 'did you just fucking rape her'.... Like you didn't just rape her -_-

Why do people think it's okay for 'dark romance' authors to glorify rape.

All men in this books should die :)

This may be the darkest and spiciest book that I have ever read, and I loved every moment! Definitely check TW/CW if this is your first time reading anything dark.

Lena has a very rough life mainly due to her sister Valerie. Things only get worse when she comes in contact with a pack. Things have to get worse before they get better, right? Not only is this book INSANELY spicy, but there is a really good plot. There are several plot twists that I was not expecting, so get ready for the ride!

Each MMC in this book is so different, yet each one is delicious in their own way. I never thought I could like so many men and all at the same time. There are too many knots to count and these men are ROUGH. These men would also go to the end of the world for Lena as they should. The characters are so well written, you won't forget these men anytime soon. I know they will be occupying my mind for the foreseeable future. Rath, Kane, Oak, Axel, and Grimm are an absolutely blast in more ways than one.

I know its a why choose, but give me Axel all day every day! He is absolute perfection. He is sweet, but also knows how to be rough when needed. Thank you JP Sina and Allie Santos for an ARC of this amazing book!

This is a phenomenally-written dark revenge romance with an insanely satisfying groveling payoff. So if you love your omegaverse REALLY dark but also somehow sweet?? Then this is perfect for you!

At the beginning, I was absolutely livid for Lena. She was taken by this pack of alphas who are bent on destroying her for her perceived crime against them.

They never gave her a chance to defend herself or tell them that they got the wrong person. They all assumed she was her twin sister, Valerie. It’s not until mid-way through that they investigated further to realize they had been tormenting the wrong person.

BUT god the spice is SO SO SO HOT. Literally the book embodies the meme:

✨don’t bully me, I’ll cvm✨

Anyway, they never broke her though despite the atrocious things they’ve done to her. Axel probably helped keep her together. He is such a big bear!

If Grimm didn’t enter the scene, Axel would’ve been my favorite. But Grimm is a quiet psycho who’s absolutely obsessed with her soooo he won me over VERY easily.

The groveling is soooo satisfying. They literally broke themselves apart for her!!!

As they should 💅

In the end, she has them all wrapped around her finger. What a slaaaaay, really!

I honestly wanted more!!! I am sad when the book ended. I neeeeeed more of them.

Wowzers! This is my first omegaverse and I think I'm hooked! I was hooked right in, this standalone has some pretty hard triggers, so please check before diving in!

This book takes you on a journey, alphas betas and omegas, they use sent to find mates and I was not prepared for the knotting, haha but will definitely be reading more about this world, I am currently feeling a little sheltered haha

This is spicy and packed with alot of action too. I'm about to see what else @jp__sina and @alliesantoswrites has in store, thank you for letting me read this arc ❤️

I didn't want it to end. One of the best Omegaverse books I've read in a really long time. I fell in love with our heroine as well as with the villains. Those delicious villains. I'm always a sucker for a bad boy with a mean streak. This is a story of mistaken identity, revenge gone wrong, redemption, discovering your self worth, and lots and lots of hot sex and knots. LOL! I can only dream that there may be a part two. (hint hint)

THERE ARE SPOILERS DO NOT OPEN IF YOU DONT WANT TO READ THEM

I was not expecting to devour this book In the amount of time I did. Lena is a BAD ASS! Her mates are assholes but they make it up to her. Fudgeeee her family and definitely her SISTER 😒
I adore this book and now will 110% be on a JP kick to read all her other books!

SPOILER WISHES

I wished it was a little longer and explained a little bit more about her and her sisters weird love (twin hated her) and if she knew Elena was an omega from the start and why she started hating her? Also wish the men groveled more because ughh fuck them 😮‍💨 but also fuck them ya know! Also wish it told us more about pack dolian. How they ended after Val “leaving” also her death was the most SATISFYING thing ever.

Dark MMMMMF Omegaverse with heats, lots of knotting and mistaken identity.

I really enjoyed the first maybe 75% of the story. The storyline was well thought out and felt finished. The beginning was definitely dark, but I personally didn’t have issues with that.

But the last maybe 25% is where it all kind of fell apart for me. The ending felt really rushed and kind of unfinished. Yes, the characters (or most of them? I’m not really sure because the ending was quite messy and unclear at least for me) got their promised HEA, but there were so many questions left unanswered.

The authors said it took them 3 years to write this book and to me as a reader it felt like they used a lot of time to write and perfect the beginning but needed to just get it over with and rushed through the end.

Please check the TW/CW before reading!

Don’t recommend. Was one of the worst books I’ve read in a while. Characters were bad, romance made me feel uncomfortable and story line was boring.

2.5 rounded up to 3 stars

It’s a dark concept but the execution doesn’t feel dark. I enjoyed it for what it was - mostly - until the last 30% when it kinda went off the rails. Suddenly adding Grimm in and her being all in with him instantly threw me off and it was weird to add another member like that. How she instantly trusted him? Wtf? And then the guys all breaking their pack bonds? Huh? It was just weird? the grand gesture didn’t feel how it was supposed to? And I hated how she treated axel at the end, kinda left him out and chose others over him after he did nothing but choose her and protect and care for her, especially after learning about his abandonment issues - it pissed me off how she discarded him, and connected with everyone else at the end.

Idk. It was kinda fun-ish? I mostly enjoyed it until the end.

It was messy that’s for sure. And things weren’t explained or flushed out very well at times.

Dark, Demented, and Delightful

Lena has always lived in her sister’s shadow until one fateful day when her entire life is turned upside down. After being mistaken for someone else, Lena is thrown into an insane situation, finding herself surrounded by four incredibly attractive alphas. But as things begin to come to light, will Lena be able to accept what these alphas are offering her? Or will she allow her sister’s shadow to hold her down? And what will the guys do when a another is thrown into the mix?

I love Why Choose. And I am a sucker for a good dark omegaverse romance. This did not disappoint. I devoured this book in less than 12 hours. This book does have some very dark/triggering tones to it. I would definitely recommend checking out the list of trigger warnings! I enjoyed it immensely. There were times when I truly felt the upset and turmoil radiating from the pages. Although I loved all the guys for their own characteristics, I think Axel and Grimm were my favorites — although, I always enjoy a good beta to round out the pack (here’s to you, Oak).

There were some points that I wish would have been delved into a little more and other times when I felt like they continued to say things that I didn’t feel needed repeating. However, that’s just my opinion as a reader and has nothing to do with the integrity of the story. All in all, I found the base storyline to be quite interesting and the spicy scenes were spicy.

This was my introduction to, both, JP Sinas and Allie Santos, and I am excited to read more of their works.

0⭐️ This was chaotic and messy, but not in a good way. So many issues. Everything felt so unnatural and just didn’t make sense most of the time. The FMC’s inner dialogue was absolutely ridiculous, especially near the beginning. Not anywhere near enough groveling for the atrocious acts committed by the MMCs. Honestly it was all pretty unforgivable anyway. No redeeming qualities to this book. Do not recommend.

This book was cute for what it was, it wasn’t really incredibly dark (if you don’t regularly read dark romance this book will be VERY dark). There is a lot of on page 🍇 and SA. Honestly when Grimm came in that’s kinda where I got a bit lost. Also there was like no depth to any of the characters so I didn’t really connect with them that much.

2.5⭐️
There were very few consensual scenes and I’m not going to give a spice rating for 🍇 so for the scenes that were consensual it was like 2🌶️

knot enough

I enjoyed this book well enough, however there wasn’t enough groveling for me. The pack did Lena dirty and I needed more grovel, and in saying that Grimm is my favorite.

Overall, book was okay and the spice was nice.

I was so excited when I received a copy of Knot Enough. (Thank you) I love love love dark dark romances and this did not disappoint.

For starters: Check the trigger warnings because this has some thangs going on in it that may not be your vibe (and that's okay). If it does pass, grab this book and read it- right now.

I was hooked from the beginning. I didn't even include all of the tropes in my reel. The tension and passion I felt reading this was something else. I enjoyed the storyline and found myself yelling at some of the characters as I was reading (not in an annoyed way- in a I can see the whole picture and you can't sort of way).

I don't know what else to say but I loved it and hope these two authors do something like this again in the future!!

This was a crazy ride. The authors are upfront about the tone of the book so please make sure to read the trigger warnings.

Elena has always lived in her sister's shadow, but has tried to make her presence minimally intrusive or uncomfortable for her family. When her father sends her to meet a pack he has arranged for her, she is snatched from the parking lot in a case of mistaken identity. Rath, Kane, Oak, and Axel believe that she is responsible for the deaths of two of their packmates. To complicate matters even further, Elena is scent matched to this pack which she didn't think would happen since she has always been a beta. As pheromones and instincts become more prevalent, the truth begins to come to light and they all must face the consequences and figure out how to move forward.

I felt like this book had a strong concept and good momentum at the beginning. Elena had a difficult life with her parents and sister then became a victim in the pack's quest for revenge. The dynamic among them was very volatile and there was quite a bit of 🍇 and torture which obviously confused her especially when combined with them being her scent matches. I did like how the angst and conflict really resonated. I did feel like the reconciliation between Elena and the pack felt surface level and I would have loved further exploration of that. The characters also fell a little bit flat for me. While I did like the men, it seemed that a lot of their characteristics could be boiled down to one or two character traits. The addition of Grimm felt a bit rushed and I would have loved to delve more into how his inclusion and his past affected the pack. I also noticed one or two areas where the timeline didn't make a lot of sense. I'm not sure if the jumps were intentional with the POV changes or what. Specifically, there was one chapter that I felt was very out of place within the arc of the story.

Overall, I enjoy omegaverse and dark romance and I did enjoy some of the aspects of this book. However, I felt that a lot of the emotion and resolution were not fully developed and I wish that the story had been longer to explore those more thoroughly.

Please check your trigger warnings! There is a distinct difference between dubious consent and assault and they’ve completely missed the mark.

This was "Knot Enough" for me. I wanted more depth, dialogue, and plot.
I get that they were a pack before Lena came into the picture. But I don't like when the mcs are screwing around when the fmc isn't involved.
Axel and Grimm were my favorite, but the rest I didn't care for.

So. This was crazy. And not good crazy. We are once again mistaking dark romance for erotic horror.
This reads like a bad fanfiction.
This is all smut, no plot (derogatory). The characters have zero personality or development. Grimm pops into the story randomly and she immediately trusts him cause he appears to be the better option. Spoiler: HE IS NOT! I'm not even sure if this ends with all of them bonded now that I think about it.
Tl;dr not a good time

This started so strong but ends up rushed & full of holes. The pacing is steady at the beginning with explosive how-will-they-recover-from-this dark, violent bullying. When the story begins to turn toward the mmcs realizing their colossal mistake the pacing rushes toward an unsatisfying ending. There’s a whole chapter spent between Oak and Lena that doesn’t seem to have actually happened, like it was cut & pasted in, but there’s no reference toward the significant emotional momentum they explore together later on. In fact it’s as if that emotional experience didn’t happen or was meaningless. Very confusing. A whole character is introduced at around 65% who is only given 2 chapters of POV but ends up playing a significant role in the conclusion. There is not enough time given for adequate groveling, forgiveness, and acceptance. Even less so for the solidifying of their relationship dynamic. But we’re given an HEA that is just unbelievable based on how the story progressed.

I think this was originally announced as a planned duet but then ended up being a standalone. It just doesn’t work. I gave two stars because I did finish it and the beginning started really strong. If the authors wanted to revisit the story and due it proper justice I think they could deliver because it’s got good bones. It’s just a completely forced ending as it currently stands.

Just HELL No.

**SPOILERS**

LENA is the overlooked sister. Her twin Valerie is the “perfect” omega and Lena just tries to survive day by day. One day she’s kidnapped by Pack Reaper. They have mistaken her for Valerie and they are set on revenge. They chain her in the basement, starve her, TORTURE HER, carve words in her flesh and RAPE HER! Yes full on rape her. It’s abhorrent. Frankly I think Lena had Stockholm Syndrome because that’s the only way she would ever be able to enjoy what the alphas are doing to her, scent match or not. Heck, one of the alphas even after they learn her true identity doesn’t even apologize, saying that “hey, what we did brought you to us. And you liked what we did.” What a pig! One of Valerie’s ex alphas defects, and realizes he’s Lena’s scent match too. He joins Pack Reaper…which is ridiculous considering he was the one who KILLED THEIR BROTHER on Valerie’s orders. I mean, huh?! And this is an alpha who is going to be allowed into the pack and forgiven?! This book was a HOT MESS. Yes it was touted as a dark romance. But I’m sorry, there are morally gray harem members, and then they’re evil, rapist bastards. Nothing, absolutely nothing could redeem these men.

**THOUGHTS/OPINIONS**

This was one of the worse dark omegaverse novels I’ve read in a long time. The book had me honestly wondering if the author had suffered a brain aneurism while writing it. How in the world (especially in a standalone novel with limited time) are you able to redeem thoroughly unredeemable characters?! The harem members TORTURED, AND BRUTALLY RAPED the FMC. What’s worse the author made it seem as if Lena enjoyed some of what was happening to her. One minute she’s scared terrified and whimpering, and the next she’s begging for their…well, you know what. This wasn’t a romance, dark or otherwise! It was a sick book filled with sick individuals who ought to have been in prison. In no way (realistically) no matter how empathetic Lena was should she have forgiving the alphas…ANY OF THEM! They were evil monsters…seriously, they were sick twisted psychotic monsters who did not deserve forgiveness let alone an omega. I mean, I’m literally aghast by what I just read. I don’t have triggers, and can deal with the darkest of dark romances…but there has to be romance in the dark romance. This book was a study of rape and psychological torture and brainwashing. How this book got published is beyond me. And frankly if anyone actually “liked” the alphas they need their head examined. Blood, gore, etc…I’ve read and dealt with it all, but every dark romance even the ones with psychologically tortured anti-heroes have to show some sort of redeemable quality, even if only toward the FMC. Hell most of the harem justifies their actions to Lena, and Lena…she just accepts it?! Again…what alternate universe am I living in? This book was a mess from start to finish, from the on page rape scenes, to the unrepentant psycho a-holes, to the spineless FMC. Frankly…IMO, works like this should not be published. And if published, definitely not read!!!

Rape is ok as long as you finish I guess? Does the fmc want to be there? Its unclear. Who are all the mmcs? No idea.

It was great, until it wasn't.

I was all in until the curveball of Grimm came in. It didn't make sense. And I really hated who she became. There was no need for this element. Then, to have them break their bonds, with their pack, their brothers to prove their loyalty? Makes no sense. Break a bow to show me how much you care?? OK, then. Makes no sense. You just proved that your words and commitments mean nothing. Anyways, it was off from the beginning, but it just became a train wreck that left so much up on the air. Nothing gets addressed, just "fixed."

I’m not sure if it was the authors’ writing styles or the edition I had, but this book felt rough and unpolished — like a decent premise that never quite made it off the ground. I really liked the idea of four morally gray MMCs kidnapping “the wrong sister,” who just happens to be their fated mate. It’s a great setup. I just wish the execution lived up to the concept. The beginning wasn’t terrible, though it was a bit underdeveloped and jarring at times. I would’ve loved more insight into the sisters’ relationship and the family dynamic overall, along with some stronger ABO world-building. The spice kicks off immediately, which was a surprise — although “spice” might be generous since a lot of the scenes are non-consensual, and the consensual ones were short and lacking in intensity. I’ll give the authors credit for including multiple notes and trigger warnings about the dark content. The themes were certainly dark, but the descriptions themselves felt oddly mild. I’ve read books with much lower-stakes scenarios that left me far more unsettled (in both good and bad ways — I am a dark romance girlie, after all). The characters were unfortunately flat, all processing their grief and trauma through either violence or sex. The pacing didn’t help — it was wildly fast. The FMC was held captive for “weeks” (more like days), and the MMCs went from kidnapping her to pursuing a sexual and “romantic” relationship almost immediately after realizing she was their fated mate… despite not even knowing her real name yet. I liked the FMC’s initial fight during the abduction, but that strength quickly gave way to tears and the classic “body betrayal” trope. It also made no sense that Rath, who had supposedly been stalking Valerie for months, didn’t even confirm her identity before kidnapping (and assaulting) her. You’d think he might notice the clear differences in how she spoke, acted, or dressed. I also wish there had been more emotional depth — especially regarding the FMC’s self-worth. Her insecurities about her sister and her body were mentioned, but never really explored or resolved. As much as I liked Grimm, his sudden appearance in the story was jarring. The FMC’s instant “ride or die” loyalty to him after a single conversation didn’t feel believable — though I did enjoy his unexpected enjoyment of being dominated. There were simply too many men overall; Rath and Kane blurred together, Grimm felt shoehorned in, and Oak was forgettable. Beyond the pacing issues, the book suffered from major continuity errors — sudden location changes, disappearing and reappearing clothing, and plotlines that contradicted earlier scenes. It was, frankly, a bit of a mess. Still, with some serious editing, better pacing, and more character depth, this story could actually be halfway decent. 4/10.
