A mutation of a common cold virus is spreading through the world like wildfire. Highly contagious, Sombra C transforms its victims in the weeks before death into violent, zombie-like creatures. Interesting take on the zombie genre

Enjoyed this series of books. Written from the point of view of the 'zombies' so different to most of the other series.

Great series

Well written series. A different take on the zombie genre, the "good guys" are the zombies and the uninfected are the enemy. A good read probably more suited to young adults but I really enjoyed the whole series. Well worth it.

I really enjoyed this series, following the lives & deaths of all the different characters to the last chapter which made me cry.

I loved this book. I was invested from the beginning and never really knew what was going to happen! I loved and hated the characters which is always a good sign, in my opinion!

Although slow to start, once the action got going in this series I seriously could not put it down, and found myself sneaking in just a paragraph or two when I only had a few moments. The characters are well-rounded, and play off each other beautifully. The cast is diverse, and the story itself feels relatively realistic, at least in terms of human responses and prejudices.

Fair warning, though, these are not your typical undead zombies, but rather still living humans who have deteriorated grossly due to a virus.
