If you love stalker romances with heart, this one absolutely delivers.
The Stalker Match pulled me in fast and didn’t let go until the very last page. I had that constant “just one more chapter” feeling, the kind where you’re half smiling, half stressed, and fully invested. It balances dark romance and chaotic fun so well that I couldn’t stop thinking about it even when I wasn’t reading.
Colton completely wrecked me in the best way. His obsession with Lexi feels deep, aching, and painfully devoted rather than shallow or performative, and I found myself rooting for him from the start. Lexi is strong, independent, and layered, and I loved how fiercely she held onto her autonomy even while clearly wanting more. Their chemistry is intense, the banter made me grin, and the slow unraveling of all that tension had my heart racing. When they finally crossed that line, it felt earned, emotional, and incredibly satisfying.
This book lives in that morally gray space I love, where love is messy, obsession is dangerous but romantic, and nothing feels simple. I genuinely enjoyed the lack of unnecessary brother drama, loved seeing familiar characters again, and that glimpse into the next book left me buzzing with excitement.

Completely obsessed, I’m talking for decades obsessed with his girl and a mafia underboss…I couldn’t devour this book fast enough.
Lexi is the Mafia bosses little sister. In an attempt to be out of her brothers/family control and have independence, she becomes a cam girl. She’s secretly been in love with her brother’s best friend and mafia underboss, Colten. After an attempt on her life has been made, Colten can’t handle staying away from her any longer and suddenly Lexi is getting a first hand look at how completely OBSESSED Colten has been with her for YEARS!
Lexi and Coltens chemistry was absolutely off the charts.
Coltens overall devotion to her had me absolutely swooning, and I don’t care about the red flags! Overall, I loved this book! It’s what l’d call mafia light. It’s got just enough to scratch that itch, without going full dark but all the major elements are there. The plot had me hooked to the point where adulting for the day felt impossible. Do I wish there was more emotional depth in this book? Yes, but honestly this book is a good time that I definitely couldn’t get enough of!
And the set up for the next book in series….I can’t wait!! Rounds like double the trouble and I’m here for it!

A dangerous match filled with obsession and desire
‘The Stalker Match’ is the second book in the Maffia Matchmaker series and can be read as a standalone, although reading the series in order is of course more enjoyable.
The stalker element combined with a love that has secretly been there for years works really well and adds an extra layer to the story. The mafia matchmaker concept remains original and gives the book its own identity. What stood out most was the strong female main character. She knows what she has to do and is anything but a scared girl.
The short chapters create a nice pace and keep the story moving forward. The writing style is simple and accessible, which makes the book very easy to read. The story is clearly plot driven, with the focus more on the progression of events than on extensive character development or subtlety.
The author succeeds in conveying obsession, fear, and desire in a convincing way. There is a strong focus on the inner world of the main characters, while the setting and surroundings play a smaller role.
Definitely curious about the next part, which could turn out to be a lot of fun as well.

Okay, I gotta get all my thoughts together here because a LOT just happened in this book!
Montana has done it once again, creating a fictional world I never want to leave!
Lexi and Colten have been in love with each other for yearssss. But neither of them knows how the other person feels. Until Colten rigs the mafia matchmaker system after Lexi almost gets kidnapped and makes him her perfect match. Things start to really heat up 🥵🥵
Lexi, who's still in a bit of shock from the attpted kidnapping (as she should be), agrees to figure out this complicated dynamic with Colten. But she doesn't realize that Colten will do whatever it takes to have her and keep her, including keeping her locked away in his house 'for her safety'.
Then, Lexi does actually get kidnapped, and man, when I tell you that Colten is a SIMP for his woman, I mean it! He goes absolutely crazy to get her back, even though he knows that she can fend for herself.
And I am sooo excited for Laken's book now 😍🥵 with two matches??!! Umm yes ma'am!

My first ARC of the year, and this book did not disappoint — in fact, it completely exceeded my expectations! I loved the first book so much; the ease and flow of the story were everything, and both of those carry beautifully into the second book.
Colten’s yearning for Lexi is chef’s kiss. This man cannot stand anyone touching him — but for Lexi? He craves it. He wants it. He seeks it out. And more than anything, he wants her. After years and years of stalking, he finally seizes the perfect opportunity to get what he wants when Lexi stumbles into danger.
I also love how Montana continues to give us furry babies, because a grey tabby cat named Pancake? Absolutely adorable.
As for Lexi, her character was beautifully written. The way she expresses her creativity and confidence through creating spicy content? I loved it. And I loved how both Lexi and Colten just can’t get enough of their exhibitionism kink 🤭🥵
I could go on and on about how good this book is… or you could just read it when it comes out — which I highly recommend you do!

Who doesn’t love a good mafia romance!??
I love the whole story line. Normally mafia stories are based around the guys in the family, not the women. Not this one. This one follows a mafia princess and her life. She sassy as hell, and wants to live her own life. I love the concept of the Mafia Matchmaker site. Only for families in the mafia. So funny to think about in real life terms! Ha.
You get stalkers, dirty talk, spice, sassiness, and tension. What more could you ask for?

After how much I loved the first book in this series, I was excited to get my hands on an ARC of the second. I went in excited—and slightly apprehensive—because Cruz and Riley were a tough act to follow.
Pretty early on, it’s obvious how lonely Lexi is, and knowing how much Colton already cares about her made my heart hurt for both of them. She’s the last person to realize this man has been absolutely obsessed with her for years—right under her nose while she’s convinced her feelings are one-sided. Colton, meanwhile, has fully talked himself into believing he’ll never be good enough for her, even as he’s quietly centering his entire life around keeping her safe.
Which brings me to the obsession. Because this man does not play around. Trackers in every pair of her shoes. A mirroring app on her phone. Lexi’s a camgirl, and Colton is her anonymous top subscriber. His stalking knows no bounds, but somehow it lands squarely in that morally grey, fiercely protective territory that just works. After Cruz gave him such a hard time in book one for never admitting his feelings, watching Colton have to eat his words here was incredibly satisfying.
This is a fast-paced, intense romance with brothers-best-friend tension and an obsessive MMC who is exactly the kind of unhinged-but-devoted partner Lexi wants. Where can I find myself a Colten?!?😩 because hello he is a hacker knows how to cook and he is 💯 a GSD but still knows when you need space and actually respects it. He supports her dreams and everything and honestly he reminded me a lot of Caleb from LAD with the obsession the cooking and the cyber stalking. Colt is the underboss while his wildcat Lexi the mafia princess is a cam girl which was a first and honestly the only reason I signed up for this ARC. Did I mention Colt was one of her subscribers????? because yeah that part was definitely fun even if the spice was fluffy and he is a virgin.
They have been pining for each other since they were kids and he is her brother’s best friend which I always eat up😁. I really liked the pets in this book and Cruz was an amazing brother as well as a solid mafia boss. I also appreciated both men training Lexi because that should be a must for women in the mafia. When I say Colt is obsessed the level is completely over the roof!!!!!!
I liked the matchmaking software idea but getting upset and relying so much on its algorithm was a little meh for me. This did not feel like a dark rom com since apart from the stalker there was only some light darkness and I did not laugh like I have with other dark rom coms I have read before. The author was new to me and while they did get their HEA the ending felt open ended.

This book was hilarious. It’s short & funny & was a really good read. I loved Colton & Lexi. Colton & Cruz kept me laughing. Although there were times i yelled at Lexi in my head. Girl, you were already kidnapped before this book & you still wanted to sneak past your bodyguard? Come on now. 🤣🤣
“Just so I’m sure I have this straight, you hacked the Mafia Matchmaker algorithm, matched yourself with Lexi, and now you’ve kidnapped her?” I sigh and brush my hand down my face. Why does he sound so amused by the situation? “I didn’t kidnap her. She got into the car willingly.” He chuckles. “Is she allowed to leave?” “Not without me.” “And does she know you’ve been obsessed with her for years?” “No.” “So, she’s there under false pretenses?” “Yes.” “I hate to break this to you, bud, but you kinda kidnapped her.”
Overall this was a fun read. I cannot wait til Nico’s book. 👀🤔🤣

SOO CUTE! I stand by it when I say that the Mafia matchmaker series is the most adorable and fun mafia romance series I’ve ever read! If you haven’t read the first book then I’ll explain that mafia matchmaker is a dating app that allows mafia heirs and heiresses to marry based on compatibility so women are not stuck in terrible relationships with men that abuse them. You don’t need to have read the first book, since these are standalones but it will help you better grasp the idea and storyline. I just love a brothers best friend romance where the mmc and fmc grew up together and they’ve just had massive crushes on each other since childhood, but are too scared to actually make a move. This book took that trope to the next level, with the yearning, the already clear love between them and how emotional it was when they fought against the barriers that were pulling them apart. There is no better man than Colton because yes he’s a stalker and has a million trackers on her but he always makes sure she’s safe, and he’s her safe space and makes sure he never crosses any boundaries…. Until she’s in danger, he gets jealous and he puts plans into motion (that’s basically half kidnapping). The plot was amazing, I really was not expecting that plot twist, and obviously paired with the chemistry between Colton and Lexi, this book was a masterpiece. Lexi is such a fun character too, she has a huge exhibitionism kink that I loved and also has OF, so I loved how this has a positive outlook on sex work. Overall this book was amazing and I recommend it to anyone who loves a good romcom and some mafia romance. For me it’s a 5/5

The story was well developed with lots of 🌶️ although it was slow burn when it started it was spicy.
Similar to the first book for me personally the amount of times it was mentioned that they were in the Mafia felt a bit excessive to me. I think given it's a Mafia romance it's obvious they are connected to that world. This however wouldn't stop me reading the next installment.

This has been such a fun series so far. Book two centers around Lexi a mafia princess and Colten an underboss who also is her brother’s best friend.
I love the angle of Lexi and Colten being so into each other from when they were kids but just never allowing themselves to be together.
Although it is a mafia romance this series is set in a much lighter tone. These mafia men are not your average mafia men. Colten is obsessed but obsessed with Lexi and as big of a stalker that he is, he’s still a softie for his girl - swoon!!!

I would describe it more in the grey than dark so if you are wanting to dip your toes into the mafia world without going straight into the dark I would 100% recommend this series. This book was great. I enjoyed both the FMC Lexi and MMC Colton. Lexi is a woman who wants autonomy in a world that doesn’t offer a lot to the women and Colton is a man, living in that world and in the biggest morally grey area, who wants to give her it and more. It was definitely a page turner but I just loved the dynamic between the two.
Definitely give it a read if you are looking to dip your toes into the dark romance world or need a break from the heaviness from others. A good balance overall with the MMC/FMC. I do wish there had been just a bit more but I think more will come as the stories continue.

To say that I’m loving this series would be a complete understatement! I absolutely love the mafia matchmaking concept instead of the usual mafia arranged marriage. And the banter, oh the perfect tantalizing banter!
Colten has perfected obsessive stalking in the two decades he’s been in love with his girl. The lengths he’s gone to are so completely out there but it fits so well. Only problem is he’s not nearly as prepared to watch her with someone else as he thought. It’s so much fun to watch him flounder his way through trying keeping her.
Lexi was shunned by her father for not being perfect and that definitely left its mark on her. She found a source of control over her life but that very thing may be what gets her hurt. When she finds herself in the home of her lifelong crush she has a hard time figuring out what to believe and gives him a run for his money.
The journey for these two is an intense one with quite a few bumps along the way. Book 2 did not disappoint and the sneak peak for book 3 has me giddy already.

The Stalker Match was addictive, unhinged in the best way, and somehow managed to balance dark romance tension with rom-com energy, which honestly shouldn’t work, but absolutely does here. I flew through this one and immediately needed a moment to process everything. 😩

Lexi and Colten are a great pair. Being in love with you brothers best friend and him feeling the same and not knowing for ages! Its hard out here for a Mafia Princess to find their match. When a overzealous admirer threatens her safety, Colten insists that she stay at his place in order to make sure she is spared from harm. I loved this book so much. The banter was great and who can resist cats! I cannot wait to read more from Montana.

Seriously loving The Mafia Matchmaker series. I really enjoyed Cruz & Riley’s story, and was even more excited for Colten & Lexi! But let’s be honest, if Montana Fyre writes it I am going to absolutely devour it.

Colten has been quietly, obsessively in love with Lexi for years and unbeknownst to him, she has been loving him right back without ever believing she could have him. This book is filled with a delicious ache between the two.
Colten is that MMC, the brother’s best friend, the silent protector, the man who would burn the world down before he’d let anything touch her. He’s been tracking Lexi’s every move, watching her cam shows as her top subscriber and calling her Wildcat like it’s a name carved into his bones. And the wildest part is… it never feels like too much. It feels inevitable. Like he’s been loving her in the only way he thought he was allowed to for so long. It’s definitely been a long time coming for these two. Especially Colton, geez, that man is such a Simp, I love it. He was absolutely obsessed and so protective that he went out of his way to do everything he could to keep her safe. Now, if that’s not something we want in our book boyfriends, I don’t know what is. I adored him. He puts his heart on the line, and this man is just all about her, and I love how he gives her space when she needs it (even though he can’t stand to be away from her)

The banter is top notch, and the spice is FIRE! I really love the world she’s created in this series; I can’t get enough!

The way that I DEVOURED this book.....I went through EVERY emotion possible.
Colten is in the Mafia, in case you couldn't tell by the title and Lexi, is his boss/best friend's little sister who he's been in love with since forever.....little does he know she's in love with him too. To Cruz its no secret that Colten is in love with Lexi, he's been encouraging him for years to "shoot his shot" but Colten had a horrible childhood before being basically adopted by Cruz and feels like he's in no way good enough for Lexi. Although that doesn't stop him from watching her every move...out of "safety" (I mean...she IS his best friends sister AND in the mafia world so she needs to be protected right?!?!). Lexi, also in love with Colten, is an undercover cam girl and Colten is her highest paying subscriber although she doesn't know it.
Lexi is single and although no one is forcing her to, is looking for love (though she really doesn't have to look to far) and signs up for the Mafia Matchmaker while housesitting for Cruz and his wife Riley who are on their honeymoon, this also means Colten is currently in charge as he's Cruz's underboss. When Lexi gets a partial match on the Mafia Matchmaker site she decides to go on date with her "partial match" they discover they're in fact not compatible and decide to remain friends.
After someone breaches security at Cruz's house and attacks Lexi, Colten springs into action and brings Lexi to his house to keep her safe. One problem, Lexi is all over Colten's apartment, the pillows in his living room, his toiletry choices.....all little parts of Lexi he feels are important. As Lexi settles in and starts checking her emails she gets one from the Mafia Matchmaker showing her "perfect match"......Colten. Obviously in shock, she starts to realize that the feelings she's felt he's always felt too and maybe more. As the two being to navigate this new relationship, they still have the very real threat of the attacker still out there. Lexi still has her moments where she craves her independence, since she's been under the watchful eye of the mafia her whole life putting herself in danger but lucky for her Colten is never too far behind.
Lexi soon learns just how much he's been keeping tabs on her and when she receives a threat that causes her to leave the safety of Colten's apartment in the middle of the night, she uses it to her advantage. Putting herself in harms way knowing that Colten will find her, she discovers she wasn't the only one in danger. Luckily, its Colten, Cruz and ironically Nico to the rescue, although the attackers got away, they now know who they are and are officially on the hunt.
The way these two just truly love each other and are too afraid to admit it even after all they've been through. The banter not just between Colten and Lexi but with Cruz and Riley is absolutely *chefs kiss*!

Lexi's a cam girl, a mafia princess, has an economics degree, and is looking to settle down - she contains multitudes. Colton is a mafia underboss, her brothers best friend, and has been obsessed with her for his entire life. You'd think her brother would be upset with this match - but he's not. However, Colten doesn't feel like he's good enough for her. So what is a girl to do but signup for the Mafia Matchmaker.
Did I mention that Colten is a bit of a stalker -- and while he starts off concerned about his inadequacies, he decides that he's not going to allow her to be anyone but his. So he rigs the system. As he should. Let's be real, we like a king who takes what he wants. Obviously, that's the end of the story an they live happily ever after.
Just kidding, this is a mafia romance and remember she's a Cam girl? Of course she has more than the 1 stalker. Obviously, Colten is not a fan of this turn of circumstances - except it forces Lexi to move in with him. Oh no! The horror!
So what did I think of this? I enjoy the idea that there is a service for mafioso's to find love. I love that it didn't take itself to seriously. I was refreshed that the Lexi's brother, Cruz (the previous story's MMC), was fine with his best bud going after his sister. I like that both of these guy's idea to make their girls feel safe was to buy them cats - because obviously. I like that Lexi had some autonomy - and wasn't treated with trial gloves- by the author at least. She makes some stupid decisions with her life, but she also doesn't forget how to survive. We meet other Mafiosos that don't suck and will be the next book - which will be Why Choose or RH, either way, can't wait. Anyway, things happen, stuff comes to light, there's conflict, there's struggle, someone gets kidnapped. A larger conspiracy is uncovered but left unresolved. In short, it was enjoyable. NO THIRD ACT BREAK UP, everyone cheers! Because guys, he's possessive - he's not letting her even think she can leave. Let's be so for real.
I enjoyed this book. It was spicy - there was some public (private) sexytime. But remember - she's a cam girl, so there's some of that stuff too. The conflict that occurs is enough to keep you engaged and guessing the entire book. I honestly didn't see the bad guy coming. Obviously, it's one of her subscribers - but the author does a good job of keeping the who under wraps. I think you should definitely take a gander at this. There were some triggers, but it was pretty light. I will definitely continue this series.
