3.75⭐️ You are getting exactly what you sign up for here. It’s monster smut. You have to lean all the way in, suspend reality, and just have a good time and I definitely did. The concept is so fun: a Halloween party where you meet your fated monster mate, and then you have a choice stay in Hallows Eden forever, or leave and forget them completely.
Our FMC handled the situation exactly the way I’d hope any of us would…confusion, denial, and then immediate acceptance once faced with a very large, very purple 🍆. She said, “Why am I here? What the hell is happening? …Actually, let me climb this seven-foot monster.” And climb she DID. She held those horns like a champ. Queen behavior tbh
And I get it Luce was charming. I fear I would’ve folded too.
This was just a blast 10/10 monster smut, with a plot that’s actually unique and playful. If you want something fun, filthy, and a little unhinged for spooky season, Hallows Eden is just that.

This book was so unexpected. 😂😂 Let me start by saying I prefer to go into books blind. I think the shock factor makes it so much better. I saw a KM Baker book and immediately signed up, no questions asked.
This was a fun monster read. It’s fast, fated mates so insta love and UNIQUE! I have read over 500 books and never read one like this lol.
I think this book is the perfect pallet cleanser or perfect to pick up and fast pace and fun Halloween read that’s different than the rest. If you’ve ever been curious about what a hot monster can do with his tail, pick this book up and find out!

What a fun, quick, and tasty treat!
I identified immediately with Savannah. She was the one who was always responsible. Quiet and serious. Preferred to stay at home. The one time she let loose, and man, did she ever get to go on an adventure!
And Luce. Gah, I'm a sucker for purple creatures...with tails, of course.
The setting was unique and mysterious, and who wouldn't want to find their way to Hallow's Eden? I definitely do! Hey, Universe, I'm open to exploring...😁😍

the amount of spice in this was INSANE & listen HE HAS A TAIL lol let that sink in ;)

This was awesome. Perfect for the spooky season! I wish it was a full story but even being a novella it was really great! The plot was creative, spicy, and full of monsters. I read this so fast and will happily be adding the physical copy to have for my seasonal spooky reads!

A short and spicy Halloween read to satisfy all of your fantasies around monsters. Hallow's Eden had such a unique plot in my mind, I certainly had not read anything like this. The book follows Savannah and her friend whom she had lost touch with for a while and who also convinced Savannah to go out to a Halloween party, only it was certainly not what she could have ever expected.
Hallow's Eden shows itself to humans who are open to more, finding their connection or in better words mate, the twist is that Hallow's Eden is the point where monsters of all kinds and humans can interact for one night of passion and fun.
When Savannah gets sort of abandoned at the party as her friend found the mate who she had left behind previously and forgot about, only then does Savannah feel a pull towards someone or something and that being is Luce our big purple hunk of a monster and hot as hell!!
I devoured this book and was shocked at every turn in the plot but could just not put it down at all!! The chemistry between Luce and Savannah could not have been better in my eyes. I loved the whole plot idea and I only wish there could have been more in the book or double the length but just purely after Savannah submits to stay with Luce!

So, our fmc is Savannah, and mmc is Luce. Savannah, love her. She is quiet, focused, a thinker, and questions everything. Luce, well, he's a 7 Foot Purple monster, determined to find his mate and will stop at nothing to protect them.
Essentially, Luce is trying to find his mate, and that mate is Savannah. The thing is, Savannah has questions, and Luce will do anything to convince her to stay with him, but there's a catch...
It was a fun, halloween read filled with a sprinkling of plot and lots of smut that i know and love 🔥🔥🔥

I absolutely loved this halloween, dark, monster romance novella! I've been wanting to read this authors work for a while and was honored to be given an arc of this book. It was the perfect introduction to her writing!
This is a quick halloween themed novella full of magic, monsters, and love at first sight. A big, purple monster with a tail, horns, and glowing viens (only around her) meets his human mate who is also a coroner assistant (perfect right?) and a homebody on Halloween at a magical party when the veil is thin between their worlds. Of course, there are some 🔥 spice not only with his monster 🍆 but maybe even some... other.... action🤭
Even though he is a monster, he is so freaking sweet. his POV had me kicking my feet. Perfect Halloween, monster novella for this season!

When Savannah woke up the day after Halloween, she didn’t realize that something followed her home. For a year, she felt a weird pull to a set of purple eyes… but where are they from?
Luce and Savannah are such a cute couple. I’m so glad it ended how it did. I wish there was more of this cute little couple and their future.

This story has you guessing from the start. I was not expecting all of “the things”. I typically read fated mates but more on the wolf side. Reading with monsters and fated mates is still great! Believing in a fated mate is going to keep me single forever the way that the author describes the connection! The creativity put into this book makes everything so much better, you can really visualize each page as it’s happening!
It’s a spicy and great read. Plus it helps my favorite color is purple lol.

Okay, K.M.! This short novella was exactly what I needed. The spice, the subtle angst, and the union. Ugh, I love Luce. He’s dominating and protective (like, touch her and ☠️). He has an exhibition streak, but considering his nature, it makes sense.
Savannah! I completely understand your feelings, but I also think you should let go. You had me pulling my hair out, but I can also relate. The banter between the two was hilarious, and I love that she’s not a pushover. However, Luce isn’t afraid to give it back and make her beg. 🫣👀

This was just the perfect Halloween novella I needed to get me in the spooky season!
She questions herself...should I really go to this party??? And if I do..will I really enjoy myself?! Well she does go and when she meets Luce..there's something there but she's not really ready yet to jump and let Earth's realm go...because you see..you have the choice to stay in Hallows Eden if you find your mate! She goes again the next year and when I say you'll want to read this novella to find out how this book ends! (Lets just say Luce is the type of monster that can't let his mate go!)

K.M Baker has done it again! This dark romance novella was everything I expected it to be and more! It made me wish I could visit Hallow’s Eden. This is the perfect book to read in October if you’re looking for a spooky dark story. The FMC was the perfect amount of stubborn while the MMC was one of the best shadow daddy’s I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Honestly the if this review doesn’t convince you to read it the dedication will 1000% have you turning the page SO FAST! I read this in one sitting and I’ll for sure be rereading it!

I absolutely love this book. From page one to the very last drop K.M. Baker is an absolute genius. When the world and the veil collide, humans and monsters seem to learn how to coexist. In the mortal world, some things we can’t get enough of. KM Baker was able to bring our deepest darkest fantasies to light. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I was honored to be able to read it. Luce is the monster our deepest darkest fantasies pull, while Savannah represents so many of us caught up in the day by day strategies and gives into her desires.

I’m a sucker for literally ANYTHING written by K.M. Baker! So when she said she was writing a monster romance, I said sign me up. But fun fact: this was my first monster romance so I went in super blind not knowing what to expect and let’s just say, I know what I’ll be adding more of to my TBR!
The way the story was written had me hooked (adulthood made me take 3 days to finish it). The connection between Savannah and Luce was addicting and the spice…. Was spicy! 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️
