With any book I try to see the good in them, there was not much in this one really.
It is a form of Christianity I don't really recognise, maybe it is me, but it far from my experience of struggling through the wilderness of life.
The stories these books have are somewhat interesting, but have you ever met anyone who experienced something like that, as in really experienced it, and more to the point do you need to?
Sometimes we are still a wicked and perverse generation demanding a sign when we already have the sign of the cross.
Some people may enjoy this I just found it not relatable and really a little unbelievable.

Great book! Talks about the metaphor of God’s river and the importance of seeking and encountering it. Sheets uses lots of great scripture and stories in order to prove His points. This book is more charismatic, but is definitely worth reading and that I learned and grew from. He also talks about revival a lot and talks about what hinders revival from taking place and what we can do to make sure we are in check and aligned with God.

We Need The River of God!!!
We need the River of God in our lives. Dutch Sheets point out that the River of God is necessary because we need Him to flow through us. By allowing God to fill you with His river, all your sins will be washed away. The River of God is essential for today.

Brings out good points about revival. I don't like it when the author tries to be funny.

This book not only helped me understand more of the Biblical truth of the healing and revival bringing power of the river of God, but also provides practical wisdom for how to recognize real revival and the real working of the Spirit verses what might not really be true revival. Dutch Sheets is both knowledgeable of the Word and experienced in dealing with revival and the movement of the Spirit around the world.

Absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. Get into the River Saints. Wow! A must read.
