A Bridge Through Time
A mysterious stranger, a time-torn romance, and a Highland destiny – Ashley’s journey from modern San Francisco to medieval Scotland will test her heart, her courage, and her fate.
Ashley Moore's life in San Francisco has hit a few snags, not the least of which involves sightings of a mystery man around every corner. Is she losing her mind or does he really exist? Cailin MacBayne is no stranger to beautiful women, but has always managed to stay one step ahead of commitment. That all comes to an end when he meets Ashley. He doesn't care where this beautiful, yet unusual lass came from, he's just happy to have found her.
Ashley cannot resist the handsome Scot and finds herself falling hopelessly in love. In the process, a secret is revealed, a battle is waged and Ashley must ultimately decide whether to return to her own time or give up her 21st-century life to stay with the love she has found in the past.

Nice romantic time travel saga Very "R" rated scenes
Dreams bring a girl to Scotland to find her dream mate. I was more than she was expecting. She finds herself taken to 1514 Scotland through magic held by a special inn keeper. This reminded me of another tale "A Knight In Shining Armor" by Jude Deveraux with many similar plot twist.

A Bridge Through Time
I loved this book with all its twist and turns. There were many characters and a lot of interesting moments throughout the story. I don’t know how to write a review, but I can say that I enjoyed the story immensely.

disappointing
Book started out quite well, but further I read the more disappointed I became. It was almost, not quite, one of those “goody too shoes” books. Not enough action. Characters we not really believable.

I absolutely loved this book! First and foremost, it is FILLED with sexual tension, and I. AM. HERE. FOR. IT. Cailin and Ashley’s chemistry is completely off the charts, and they complement each other so well. Their banter and hilarious moments together made this such an enjoyable read.
The plot is intricate and captivating, and I loved the combination of time travel, Highland romance, secrets, adventure, and all the twists and turns. The main and side characters were phenomenal, and the anticipation that built throughout the story had me completely hooked. I genuinely could not put it down!
Cailin and Ashley’s relationship was definitely the heart of the story for me. Their connection, chemistry, and undeniable attraction made every moment between them so much fun to read.
If you love Highlanders, time travel, sexual tension, banter, and a romance that keeps you turning the pages, definitely check this one out!

Prva knjiga koju sam citao na engleskom preko kindle aplikacije i unatoc mojoj averziji prema engleskom, moram priznati kako mi jezicna barijera nije predstavljala problem u razumijevanju radnje. Svida mi se jednostavan stil kojim je pisana, a prica je s tim vremenskim skokom bila dosta zanimljiva. Najbolji su mi naravno bili dijelovi u kojima je Ashley pricala o suvremenom zivotu Skotima iz 16og stoljeca. Solidna radnja, mozda mi je samo kroz centralni dio knjige falilo malo vise napetosti.

A book you can't put down!
I loved this book and intend to read the next book in the series as soon as possible. It is a cross between Outlander and any books by Barbara Erskine but in it's own way, very different.
I can always tell if the Author has grabbed my attention in the first few pages and this book certainly did!

The book was fine. Not spectacular, just fine. I know Highlander time travel is popular, but it isn’t really my thing.
Side note: it turns out that I read a different edition of this book in 2019 but didn’t remember it. I’ve picked up books before thinking I hadn’t read them, but the plot comes rushing back by the second chapter. I just reread this entire book and none of it felt familiar. So there’s that.

Romance in Ireland - great read!!
I loved this story and its premise. It was so delightful to read! A real “page turner.” I will read all of the Bridge through Time series, definitely!!

Enjoyed this more than I thought I would, I was excited to read each page. Had some twists and turns with some surprises. There was some harder to read scenarios, but overall was well written.

Great book of highlanders
I enjoyed reading this book because the time travel went both ways & most books didn't cover that point, so thank you! And the characters were more interesting & believable.

I absolutely loved this story. The primary characters were very believable. There was intrigue, and plenty of romance as well. I will be buying the second book in the series.

What can I say? I’m a sucker for a time travel book especially one set in Scotland. This one had some unique twist and turns. A light read for those who love time travel.

Good Enough
I’m a sucker for the time travel books and this was good enough to keep me interested and keep reading even though it was predictable. Some parts of the fantasy was over played too much trying to make reason out of time travel. But I do like time travel romance.

What a delightful story. I’ve often dreamt of meeting a nice Scottish Highlander but despite now being too old for being of interest to one.

Fun read!
Love time travel books, was big fan many years ago of Galbadon. Ms. Vale writes an even better tale of young maiden meets her handsome "knight in shining armor" - there's another oldie but goody.
