After being betrayed by her ex-fiancé, Camille Jordan can’t escape the whispers, judgment, and pity in the small town of Honey Ridge. Determined to rise above the scandal, she holds her head high, until one vulnerable night pulls her into the arms of the last man she should ever touch…
Ezra Sheridan.
Ezra has always taken what he wants and what he wants is Camille. Unlike his brother, Ezra makes no apologies for his desire, and once he gets a taste of the woman he’s secretly craved for years, he refuses to let her go.
Their attraction is fiery, forbidden, and undeniable, but as the town gossips and family pressure close in, Camille must make an impossible
✨ Protect her reputation…
✨ Or surrender to the love she’s been waiting for all along.
A steamy easy read, i thought it would be more messy as the main plot point was DRAMA, but it all ended too easy and smooth! BUT it was still a good read, ezra is 😜 we love a man that knows what he wants😂
Love Hangover: A Honey Ridge Novel is messy, slow burning and full of that small town everybody in your business energy.
This book felt LONG not in a bad way but in a dang we still here kind of way. The drama just kept stretching out and you’re riding it the whole time waiting for everything to finally come together.
Camille I wanted to root for her, I really did. Baby girl, she spent about 97% of this book in victim mode without realizing she was playing a role in her own chaos. Everybody painted Asher as the villain but let’s be real Camille had her own accountability to take. A lot of her decisions were rooted in trying to live the life her parents designed for her instead of choosing for herself.
Now Ezra that man stayed solid. From start to finish. He knew what he wanted, stood on it and didn’t fold under pressure, gossip or family opinions. In a town like Honey Ridge that says a lot.
Soooo are we going to talk about that lingering tension. Absolutely because you spend most of the book side eyeing a certain character, just waiting for the truth to drop. When it doesnt’s like damn I thought the worst of you. 😬
Overall, it’s drama filled, drawn out but still engaging enough to keep you locked in. Messy love, small town pressure and hard truths about accountability.

Ava Black’s Love Hangover completely swept me off my feet! From the very first chapter, I was hooked! the story is electric, the characters feel so real, and the emotions are written with such honesty that I couldn’t put it down. Every page pulled me deeper into a world of passion, tension, and unexpected twists.
What I loved most was how beautifully written this book is! the dialogue flows effortlessly, the pacing is perfect, and the chemistry between the characters practically leaps off the page. Ava Black has a gift for blending excitement and heart in a way that feels cinematic and deeply personal at the same time.
If you’re looking for a story that will make you laugh, swoon, and maybe even shed a tear, Love Hangover delivers all of that and more. This is one of those books that stays with you long after the final page. I can’t wait to see what Ava writes next!
Wrote a long review which disappeared somewhere into where things go into the electronic etherworld. Said all that needed to be said without rewriting my much longer review. Since there are, so far, only one more book in this series, I suggest that her next book be edited by someone who is more familiar with the use of a dictionary and a Thesaurus. I'm a seasoned romantic and less familiar with the jargon but I understood most of it so I think the target readers are maybe 25 - 55 (60) and those of us who are still young enough at heart to appreciate a good+ romance. Keep writing, get some good editing and I'll keep reading your books.
Camille was living for her parents instead of herself, not truly choosing her own happiness. The small town judgment was loud, the pressure was heavy. Watching her slowly take control of her life was needed. Plot twist I didn’t see coming but made a lot of sense. Definitely side eyeing her. It was an okay read.
Not my typical read but I really enjoyed it. The characters felt real, the scenes felt real & the story line for the most part made sense. It was easy to imagine the main male character as a partner. A few grammatical errors like woman instead of women but nothing too major.
And messssyyyyyy.....baby Ava told that story. I enjoyed it and want to get into the next book. This story unfolds with a bunch of No he/she didn't and head shaking...absolutely loved it
Whew, this was good. Funny how much familial relationships can impact your life but thank goodness for Ezra. That man didn't play and I can't wait to read Asher's book.
