Will she find a loving spark and a Christmas miracle at the cozy cabin? Or will this Christmas only bring heartbreak?
Greta Snow is a feisty and fun-loving mountain gal who adores the magic and festivities of the Christmas spirit. She looks forward to watching the snowmen and chimney smoke from the comfort of her Granny’s cozy cabin in the mountains. But beneath her wild personality hides a deep longing for love... and finding it seems like it’ll take nothing short of a Christmas miracle.
But this year might come with an unexpected gift under the tree... because when a handsome—yet infuriating—man from a land development company walks up on her cabin’s porch, Greta soon finds herself caught in the clutches of a big decision.
Locked in a frigid struggle that threatens to sour the holiday festivities, Greta’s plans for the perfect celebration are thrown into disarray. Can she melt the developer’s icy soul and find a way to save Christmas? Or will she be left with an empty stocking and an even emptier heart?
Embrace the joy of Christmas with this enchanting women’s fiction series that whisks you away to a frosty, cozy mountain town. Christmas By The Cabin Fire is a delightful feel-good read that’s perfect for fans of wholesome romance, unexpected love, and all the happy endings of a holiday story.
I always enjoy reading the set up for the story and this one is interesting. I look forward to the second book in the series. This is not a stand alone book. It kicks the series off introducing a family that gathers each December at the family home in the mountains on 800 acres. The family is multi-generational with a variety of personalities and levels of quirkiness. A land development company wants to purchase the land and it appears they may do anything to get it. The crotchety older sister and grandmother (I don't feel early 70's is that old and she should be older) is the owner of the home. Some of the characters speak with lots of "aints" and other I guess mountain lingo. The book ends with a cliffhanger. I received an ARC and I am leaving my own thoughts without influence from the publisher or author.
Christmas by the Cabin Fire 1 by Hayley Summers ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Another series off to a great start. Just imagine 2 -70 year old sister fighting. I did as I read it. I laughed so much, and the words Hayley had them say. Hilarious
This new series is like the Grinch on Psych meds. What a crazy family. They are all nuts. Hang on to your hats, we're in for a wild ride. This is an advanced reader copy and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
