Yeah for common sense

We need more common sense. For decades, actually two centuries the rich elite of this country have imitated not just the latest fashion but the more "important" ideas Europe had in its universities: socialism, revolution, utopia. All of these promised futures have not happened, but Tyrus is right: politicians and intellectuals have used their "some day" after the revolution "vision" (or after the next next two elections) to enrich their own pockets before any money trickled down to the poor they professed to help.

I have read Tyrus' previous books, and in my opinion, this is his best. His plain talk and stating facts in a clear and logical way reaches across all demographics. It is a quick read and his common sense approach (sometimes stating things that should be obvious but are often ignored) is so refreshing!

Tough love for Tyrus

I have been an admirer for years. Still am, though I found this book difficult to get through. Please get a new editor, so that we can hear YOUR expressions once again. And Ch 48 didn't seem to belong in the book at all. Ch 49 was beautiful. I rarely watch Gutfeld! unless you and Kat are on. You carry the show. I'm still a fan and will read your next book.

excellent read

Very good perception of our state of the land. I’m a Republican stuck in the State of Vermont, a state I loved, but has turned so far left it makes me sick. I just wanted you to know that this State does have some smart thinker, we aren’t all ignorant lefties :). Thanks for the great read

Insightful

Much of what was covered is commonsense that many have forgotten. It reminded me through insightful stories we are in this together. Stand up for what is right. Look out for each other, even when no one realizes nor believe its need and deserved.

Easy reading but if you watch Tyrus regularly on TV, the ideas in this book are all familiar. If you haven’t seen him on TV or in live appearances then by all means read the book. Great idioms.
