Our heroine is a damsel, forced to marry a terrible man by her abusive parents- until she meets the hero. He is the lawyer responsible for her prenup and falls instantly for her.

We get some forbidden sex, fiancé and parental drama before a happy ending.

Emerson and Gideon

I liked these two together. Gideon was a goner for Emerson even if he denied it. She was sweet and needed someone to show her that she had a choice.
They had a good story. I liked how he gave her her freedom and let her decide what she wanted. Also, the spice was good. It's a good story if you need something quick!

Emerson and Gideon, they meet when her mother (who is a horrible person) takes her to a lawyer to sign a pre-nup. Well, Gideon is instantly wanting her, though he does have her sign the deed. He goes all out to protect Emerson, and eventually these two get their HEA
