Faith & Four Letter Lose the Script, Find a Voice, Own Your Story
Life doesn’t come with a script. But when everything feels messy, painful, or uncertain, faith can anchor you in the storm.
In Faith & Four Letter Words, co-authors and former TV news anchors Amanda Goodman and Tara Thomas share raw, unfiltered stories of motherhood, marriage, loss, career pivots, and starting over. With honesty and humor, they prove that sometimes the four-letter words we whisper in frustration sit right beside the word that saves FAITH.
Through alternating chapters, Amanda and Tara invite you into their journeys walking through valleys of grief, doubt, and disappointment, while uncovering unexpected purpose, laughter, and redemption along the way. Each chapter closes with reflection questions, offering readers space to pause, process, and apply the lessons to their own lives.

Tara Thomas’s love of books and writing started as a child and though she wanted to be an author, she decided a degree in science was more practical. After fifteen years in the pharmaceutical industry, she returned to her first love and hasn’t looked back since.
She writes erotic romance as Tara Sue Me. Her Submissive Series novels have been on both the New York Times and USA Today Bestseller lists. Her novel THE MASTER earned a starred review from Publisher’s Weekly, was awarded Best Romance of 2016 from Best Book Awards, and is a 2017 RITA Finalist for Best Erotic Romance.
Let’s just say their core story resonates with me. If you get a chance to see these ladies In person GO and be motivated and reminded that we are here for a purpose. Find yours.
Excellent Job Ladies!! I’m originally from IA, moved to Colorado 12yrs ago so I loved reading your story!! My four letter word is STOP. I need to stop being a friend of convenience, stop being a people pleaser and set hard boundaries for myself with family and friends.
Excellent book ladies!! I had decided I need to not cater to so called friends who are there for me at their convenience. I’ve not felt guilty when I say no. I’m learning to ask for help when the tasks are too much for me to handle. That’s a hard one for me. Help would be my four letter word. Keep on ladies and I hope to attend the next show in Waverly.
This book had me laughing out loud and also gave me some tears. I think all women will be able to find similarities to the struggles Amanda and Terra expressed in this book.
