They call him ‘The Silent-Night Stalker.’ Every Christmas Eve, he chooses one person to kill. He leaves behind no trace of himself, so the cops have no leads.
And now he’s chosen me.
It’s Christmas Eve, and I’m the serial killer’s next target. While I grieve the loss of my best friend, the Stalker breaks into my home and tries to kill me. He thinks he can subdue me... however, he’s not the only criminal under this roof.
But this man isn’t who I expect him to be. He’s no hardened killer. He’s definitely unhinged, but he’s also meek and desperate to be controlled. How does someone like him become a killer? And what does it make me when I understand him and give in to him, dominating him in ways he’s never experienced?

Courtney W. Dixon loves to write steamy hurt/comfort romance, giving her characters challenges, struggles, and sometimes trauma... Fine, a LOT of trauma. Her team teases her about charging her for their therapy bills after reading one of her books.
She loves to add variety and multiple tropes in her stories along with different types of dynamics/relationships. And she writes her characters as having flaws, imperfections, and who don't always do the right thing. Humans are sometimes frustrating, never perfect, and make a lot of mistakes in their lives. Courtney enjoys pushing her characters, making their HEAs so much more worth it when they get there. Mental health is a big feature in her books.
She loves her coffee ice cream and popcorn a little too much. And her cat, Olly, is her co-writer, where he sleeps on an ottoman under her desk as her muse. Actually, he's rather useless, but he's adorable.
I devoured the first half of this book, but idk.. the writing kind of fell flat the 2nd half? It was almost like she rushed the writing.. I can’t put a finger on it, but it just started reading differently.
I also wish that the author had included the whole storyline with Constantine believing that God saved him and God led him to Enzo was included in the TW. As someone with religious trauma, that triggered me more than any of the other dark themes in this book. And knowing the churches stance on homosexuality, maybe including that in a queer book should come with a heads up? Just sayin…
So I couldn’t decide between 3 or 4 stars-I usually have no issues with darker romance books, but idk I just couldn’t get over the fact that Constantine was killing innocent people before he met Enzo ☠️ I understand his trauma & I got the explanation of why he was doing what he was. So maybe it’s just me but I guess I prefer the more vigilante type serial killers that take out actual horrible people in my books 😅

I loved every single part of this book. The dynamic between Enzo and Con hooked me right from the start. Constantine’s twisted, heartbreaking logic for “saving” people made him such a fascinating character, and the way he fixated on Enzo? Wild. And so, so compelling.
Their connection felt instant, but not in a cheesy way...it was more like two damaged people colliding in exactly the wrong (and somehow perfect) moment. Enzo indulging Constantine’s needs, and Constantine clinging to him with this mix of devotion and desperation. I'm obsessed.
And when the truth came out about Enzo’s family and his brother? Absolute chaos. It raised the stakes beautifully, and it made the bond between the two of them feel even more powerful.
The healing between them was surprisingly tender. Constantine’s trauma, Enzo’s grief...the way they helped each other felt honest and beautiful.
Dark, emotional, unhinged, and unexpectedly sweet & romantic.
If you're looking for a book about a sweet little murder-twink who looks at a giant angry mafia man and goes, “yeah, I’m gonna kill you to save you.” And the big mafia guy just shrugs and basically says, “lol cute, wanna kiss?”, this is for you.
- Twink Serial Killer x Criminal MMA Fighter - Dark Christmas Romance - Opposites Attract - Size Difference - Obsession - First Times
I loved this book 💙
It was twisted, unexpected, dark, emotional - I'm obsessed.
Meet sweet Constantine, who murders to " set people free". His story is pure twisted heartbreak, that had me tearing up 😿 And Enzo? You could feel his grief to your core.... And when they meet? Their connection is surprisingly tender and disgustingly sweet 💙
Make no mistake - this is a rather short book, but so much happend - I could barely keep up or put the book down.
This is my third book of "The Naughty List" Collab and I'm looking forward to the next one 😸😽

Well, for this I just let you decide whether you want to know or not. Just know: This is a Dark Romance with loads of criminals, a sweet, traumatized serial killer and everything that comes with it.
Ta książka była tak głupia, że do tej pory mam na twarzy taki pełen niedowierzania uśmiech, bo ta głupota była w jakiś równie głupi sposób słodka 🫣 😂 Sorry, muszę mózg zrestartować 🤣
If you pick up this book, expecting a wild, dark ride with morally gray characters, all wrapped up in a holiday theme, based on the blurb and the premise, you would be totally right. And the story delivers exactly that. But if you’ve read Courtney W. Dixon before, you’ll know to also expect complex, broken characters with tough, tangled histories.
As always, it’s impossible not to feel for these guys or root for them, no matter how outrageous their choices might be. Constantine’s life has been brutal, he’s endured so much abuse that at some point, his mind started to bend reality in order to survive. Enzo isn’t any better off, he’s been through his own share of pain, abandonment, and betrayal, and he’s at a breaking point.
Their meeting is just as chaotic as their lives, but the way they cling to each other is both entertaining and really satisfying. I’m always amazed by how Courtney mixes the fun, steamy side of romance with truly deep character development. She’s got a real talent for creating broken guys you can’t help but connect with.
I had a great time with this book, it’s dynamic, fast-paced, and there’s never a dull moment. The way the holiday aspect is mixed in is clever and fresh, making it stand out from other stories. The same with the concept of faith and how both characters are on completely opposite sides of the spectrum but still are able to meet in the middle. It’s spicy, too, with one character who’s inexperienced and literally open to anything, and another who’s completely smitten and eager to show him the ropes.
I adored Constantine and Enzo, the cute nicknames they give each other, and how far they’ll go to protect one another. You really believe they’re destined to be together.
Courtney’s writing always pulls me in, I devoured this book and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants a mix of deep characters and a super entertaining plot.
Silent Night Stalker Part of The Naughty List Series Courtney W. Dixon
Constantine & Enzo ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶
Virginal Twink Serial Killer Criminal MMA Fighter Dark Christmas Romance Opposites Attract Size Difference Emotional Scars First Times Obsession
This was absolutely incredible. Sweet, sweet Constantine, we all need to protect him at all costs.
I absolutely adored this. Constantine has had a brutal life, never shown kindness or love. SO sad and alone he believes he is saving people by un a living them, taking away their pain.
He meets Enzo and things do not go well for Constantine. Their meet cute was not so cute lol But also it kinda was lol Like I love these two. I had tears in my eyes at times.
Constantine becomes obsessed with Enzo, wanting to give him rather unconventional gifts.
Enzo at first is thrown by Con, not sure what to make of him, but he begins to see him in a different light, he sees the pain, sadness, and loneliness. He can see Con is genuine in his affection towards Enzo
“His obsession with me fuels my soul. I can’t begin to explain how much I’m into it.”
There were times this had me kicking my feet, smiling and giggling for these two.
“I’ve never known anyone quite like you, Little Bird.”
We have a great plot in this as well. The mystery and intrigue kept me going along with the adorableness that is these two incredible men.
They were also so sweet and spicy. Their intimacy felt so raw, real and genuine.
“I swallow the lump in my throat, feeling oddly emotional over this little killer, much like I had when I first noticed his scars. He’s clearly making me his. If I let this go on any longer, I’ll need to be okay with this obsession of his.”
This was incredibly emotional at times, the growth between these two was phenomenal. The relationship grew and evolved, Enzo wanted to desperately help Constantine, give him so many positive memories to erase the bad.
I loved how they grew from the un a living, how they wanted more for themselves.
I loved this, so much more than a m ur dery holiday romance.
Wow, this was great! One of the best ones of the series, along with Christmas Mafia Prince. This one was serial killer x mobster (low level mobster/underground MMA fighter). It was also hurt/comfort. But the serial killer was the one who was all soft and submissive and needed comfort.
I’m surprised this worked so well for me. I usually don’t like serial killer romances when the serial killer kills innocent people. He has to have a code like Dexter. Constantine did not. He killed people who were sad. Like assisted suicide, but without consent. So just murder. 😬 But he’s so damaged you can’t help but feel sorry for him. And Enzo tries to help him a lot. I love the level of obsession. Constantine is always like, “Did I do good? Do you like me now?” He’s like a puppy. It really worked for me. And I loved the ending. That they were happy and Constantine was doing so much better in the end.
For starters: this one is on the darker side with blo0dy elements and some serious v!olence, so please check the tw-list before diving into it ☺️
The holiday theme fits so well in the current time 🥰
Constantine has a good soul but he definitely has issues, too 🙈 he had a very traųmatic past, and he.. well. He would say he helps people, but some would say otherwise 🤭
Enzo has his own problems to solve. He’s trying to investigate the unaliving of his brother.
This story grabs hold on your curiosity and captivates you. The MCs are not your typical ones, but you'll love them anyway. Who says being perfect is good anyway?
So, if you're looking for a darker romance story, and you don’t shy away from some unaliving and k!nk exploring, you probably should check this one out ❄️
I've never read a dark Christmas book in my life and I kinda ate it up :D
Constantine and Enzo's story is wild. Festive setting and morally gray characters somehow mashed up together perfectly. The story hooked me up from the very first chapter and it's not always the case for me.
Give me more names, please.
I think, Constantine's character is exceptionally well done - I really believed his backstory and motives for 'helping' people. Also, I'm glad he found his Enzo - the man is empathetic, despite all the cruelty he experienced from the young age, and is exactly what Constantine needs.
So, if you are looking for something not-so-fluffy for your Christmas reading list, pick up The Silent Night Stalker and enjoy the ride!
giving a serial killer a service animal is so funny but the fact that it worked. replacing bad memories with happy memories….yeah he knows what he’s doing.
constantine was so sweet, he deserved a better life and i’m glad enzo is gonna give with to him! DESERVED! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM!
4.5 ⭐️ This book perfectly represents obsession. It didn’t take long for the murderous twink Constantine to realize that Enzo is his soulmate.
“We barely know each other. Are you sure you know what love even is? People don’t fall in love within days.” He looks me dead in the eye, so full of certainty and confidence […] “They do if they’re soulmates.”
And Enzo doesn’t really mind ⬇️
His obsession with me fuels my soul. I can’t begin to explain how much I’m into it.
Constantine was traumatized really badly. He genuinely believed that he is an avenging angel, or a savior of some kind. He thought, by coping from years of abuse and killing people, that he is saving them from their own misery. It’s heartbreaking to see the depth of his trauma 💔 Enzo was exactly what Con needed. He never shamed him or pressured him or mocked him. Whatever Constantine desired, Constantine gets 🥹
I have to play it up that Constantine is sinister and not some damn needy twink. Okay, a needy twink that you can’t help but adore.
The heat was really heating 🥵 but it wasn’t mindless. Everything they did together was passionate. Urghhh I LOVED how much Con wanted Enzo to do everything to him, and how Enzo doesn’t need to be asked twice to deliver 😩 Even with the heavy trauma, I wouldn’t say this book was angsty. There were some funny moments, and plenty of fluff ❤️🩹
Then I pop my head out through the V-neck, rest it in the crook between his neck and shoulder, and snuggle in for the night. It’s a tight fit, but his shirts are pretty big. He snorts a laugh. “Are you going to sleep all night like this?” “Yep. You’re so warm… Safe.”
All in all, I loved this book. And I especially loved how Enzo managed to stop Constantine’s extremely unhealthy coping mechanisms by being kind and supportive ❤️
The Silent Night Stalker - Courtney W. Dixon 4.5/5
* SPOILERS *
If you are looking for a dark Christmas book, pick up this book because it has me hooked from the first page. Also, if you’ve read any of Courtney’s books, you should know how she does her broken boys and she definitely delivered with these two.
I loved how Constantine and Enzo were with one another. From the moment they met, you just never know what you’re going to get. All Constantine thought was he was saving Enzo just like with every other victim. When his plan backfires; he’s at a loss. When you learn why he does what he does, it literally breaks your heart because he has gone through a rough life.
Enters Enzo who wants to protect Con at all costs no matter what. I just the protective streak from both men. He went through his own trauma when he was younger. It’s no wonder why these have such a beautiful connection.
When Constantine finds out certain facts, he helps Enzo get his justice that is well deserved.
Also, if you don’t know it, the spice scenes that she writes makes you aching for more. I love how spicy these two were with one another. I absolutely loved the shower scene. More please.
I also love how Enzo calls him Little Bird because how sweet is that?! My heart broke for Constantine when he couldn’t bring himself to watch Enzo fight because it sent him back to his abusive life that he escaped.
Even with the dark vibes, this book brought all the good feelings. It’s such an emotional story of what these two have endured.
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Wow is all I can say regarding this amazing authors work that I always enjoy no matter what she writes!
Her characters are so true to life and so emotionally broken and sometimes unstable, but you just want to hug them and tell them everything will be okay!
“I’m not evil. I’m not a serial killer. I’m not… him. Never him. He was the evil one.”
Constantine aka Arthur Teasley was a breath of fresh air when it came to being a serial killer stalker who only “saves” broken souls like him, every Christmas Eve, as it has traumatic memories for him until he sees and stalks Enzo Alvarez who turns his upside world rightward…
Enzo lost his only family- a fellow foster brother Enrique who looked after him in a terrible abusive foster home until they aged out and joined a mafia family, and now Enrique has been found murdered in an alley…
It was an engaging read with an interesting plot twist to who killed Enzo’s brother and how Constantine became Enzo’s “Little Bird” his “serial killer twink” - a precious gift to care for and eventually love!
They were so adorable together- two broken souls who related with each other on a profound level- with all Con’s kinks and fantasies being made real by Enzo like 💦 sports among other things 😈🔪🔫 and being seen and being cared for, for the first time in his life!
Two beautiful epilogues follows with a sweet rounding off of their story that will have the tear ducts working overtime!
I voluntarily received an ARC from the author for an honest non biased review.
I love that when you read the blurb, you conjure this image in your mind of the Silent Night Stalker. But as you start reading it, this image is completely wrong and somehow the Stalker in question is this non-innocent innocent guy that you just want to hug the life out off. Constantine is everything you wouldn’t expect and I love that. To have the narrative change in your head even before you really dive into the story because he is so different from what you would expect. Keeps you on your toes and gives the story and extra edge. Courtney really did surprise me with this amazing MMC. How he looked at life and his ‘profession’, I loved him. Adding in Enzo, with his background, I would also expect him to engage with Constantine differently. Even with them being nothing like you would expect, it really worked and made for some extremely fun scenes as well as some very spicy fun ones. Really loved the characters and the plot in a whole.
Enzo and Constantine were the sweetest. They broke my heart and put it back together- and they rusticated me from my own seasonal depression.
Alright- don't be an idiot like me and read this when you experience seasonal depression, because the beginning of the book will get to you. But honestly? I think it was worth every single tear I shed. Their growth was beautiful and tender.
I really liked that we got to see how and why Constantine became the Silent Night Stalker, because you don't always see that in "serial killer" dark romances. He's not just a psycho that wants to kill, but he's so broken inside that he sees it as salvation for his victims, which makes the story and characters all the more complex.
And complex, they were. These two were full of nuances and feelings too big for their hearts.
I don't know what other word to use to describe this story than "beautiful."
I really enjoyed reading this! It's not your typical Christmas story and you'll enjoy reading it. It's dark and unhinged, but also emotional and sweet. I loved the connection between Constantine and Enzo. I loved how everything happened and how things worked out in the end. I loved how obsessed they were with each other and also how they helped each other. They both have trauma and pasts that are traumatic, which helps them see each other in a way no one has seen them before. My heart went out to both of them when we learnt about their pasts. I loved their dynamic and the intensity of their feelings.
If you're searching for a dark and unhinged Christmas story then you've found it! It's fun, unhinged and dark, but will also give you all the feels with their past and their obsession for each other. I enjoyed every moment of reading this and I hope you will too if you give it a chance.
The first 30% read as a very real depiction of a serial killer and threw me off. I prefer my serial killer romances to be so far fetched that they’re fun. I almost DNF’d because I wasn’t sure how the author would be able to turn something so uncomfortable and tragic into a believable romance. Well, she does.
Constantine becomes a remarkably sympathetic character and his love and devotion to Enzo become very real and heartfelt. I grew to adore these two together..
- serial killer and criminal - twink and MMA fighter - no third act breakup - Good communication from the beginning - from attempted murder to obsession to love - tragic backstories - Enzo grew up in foster care and was beaten by his foster dad; his only protection was his foster brother, who is murdered at the start of the story. Constantine was brutally and repeatedly beaten by his step dad while his mother lay drunk and unhelpful/. It happened the worst at Christmas when he would gift Constantine severed body parts or dead animals. He also has cigarette burns over much of his torso. - Virgin MC (Constantine) - Hurt/Comfort - Enzo provides a surprisingly amount of comfort and compassion to Con. - Nicknames - Enny, Angel; Hummingbird, little bird, baby - Violence and on page depiction of abuse and murder - No OM/OW - Dual POV: True HEA. 5 yr later engagement in epilogue

The Silent Night Stalker was everything! Beautifully broken unhinged characters who find solace in each other. I couldn’t stop reading. I love books that show that there’s no one way someone handles PTSD. Enzo & Con( Constantine) have both been through so much. I immediately loved Con. The way he truly thought he was helping people broke my heart. He has such a sweet soul. And Enzo, poor sweet Enzo, he’s already been through a lot and now while grieving he finds himself being stalked by none other than the Silent Night Stalker. I won’t go into further details because I don’t want to spoil it. But please please read this book! One of my top fives of the year!
✨ARC Review Who doesn’t love a dark Christmas romance with instant-obsessed, morally messy men that grab your attention and curiosity from the get-go? The connection between Enzo & Constantine is messy, obsessive, protective, and unexpectedly sweet, which surprisingly tugged on my heart strings. I definitely did not expect to love this as much as I did! If you need a great holiday read this year, but not looking for mushy lifetime movie vibes, I highly recommend The Silent Night Stalker. This is also a part of a multi-author dark holiday romance series, The Naughty List.
If you’re a TW reader, definitely check them out! *What you can expect: *Virginal Twink Multi-Unal¡ver *Criminal MMA Fighter *Dark Christmas Romance *Opposites Attract *Size Difference *First Times *Obsession
Okay wow. This book was so….Interesting but in a good way. First of all I’m not a huge fan of golden showers but hey I’m not knocking anyways kinks. But the thing that Constantine does for love is so unhinged but I love it. But I’m glad that Enzo gets his revenge and finds love at the same time. God I love this book!
Only Dixon can make me love a crazy like this! I was hooked in at page one and was kept there to the end. Yup! Like pure crazy… and SMOKING HOT! 😮💨 These are for sure some of my favorite characters.
This was different in the best way. I swear, Courtney creates the most chaotic, unhinged, and yet super sweet and romantic characters. Constantine was such a cinamoon roll and Enzo absolutely melted for him. The Silent Night Stalker is perfect for christmas time.

AUTHOR'S BLURB They call him ‘The Silent-Night Stalker.’ Every Christmas Eve, he chooses one person to kill.
MY THOUGHTS Above all else, you're going to have to suspend belief and read strictly for the vibes and good times. This is a serial killer's love story, and to get the most enjoyment out of it, you can't read it and think "That would never happen in real life." Yeah, no kidding... and that's why we read.
I had the best time with this! It's my first Courtney W. Dixon book (to be clear, not the first on my TBR, just the first I've read), and I loved it. The writing is great: tight, funny, a good balance of entertaining dialogue and blocks of prose to move the story along. If there is some way to make you want to give a serial killer a break, the author has found it.
Constantine is definitely unhinged at times (but also adorably odd), yet the author stirs up your sympathy for him so that it doesn't feel completely strange to watch Enzo fall for him and think, "Hmmm, yeah, no, I kind of but also definitely get it." There's also a surprising amount of emotion surrounding both MCs' pasts, and the author handles it really well, weaving it smoothly and empathetically into the story.
The sexy times and HEA are both believable, provided you've already suspended most of your belief to begin with. I mean, we ARE talking about a guy who kills at Christmas falling in love with his mistakenly intended target. Now, to be clear, while Enzo is a good guy, he's not an innocent or naive guy. He brings his own questionable life decisions to the table, too.
For a shorter book, the spice was surprisingly spicy without feeling ridiculous or contrived, which often happens too easily with insta-lust and insta-love. (Again, remember, we already left reality far behind at the beginning of the book, so there should be no surprise at how quickly they fall.) I wasn't expecting the kink-ish aspects of their getting together, but it works for them. Constantine freely admits that he watches a lot of porn, and Enzo is 100% here for indulging him when he wants to experiment, surprising even himself with how much he likes it.
BOTTOM LINE Oh, yeah. Yes. Go into it looking for a funny, escapist, dark holiday romance. It'll probably have you questioning how normal it is to feel sorry for a murderer, but you're going to have such a good time you'll only think about that for a hot minute.
