I found this book by a friend who knows how much I enjoy online Mahjong, wich is a simplistic way of playing the game, pairing and not much more, but the books describes the origins of the game, as most as it can without going deeper into chinese and asian history.
I believe the author wrote the book to simplify the game into occidental minds, but still I believe it lacks something around the purpose, if you know nothing of mahjong it's going to be hard to understand the technicalities used and more info, although a part of it is still explained, it's hard for the newbies.
However, if you have already played with your friends, grandma, chinese community or anyone who knows, you'll he at your perfect choice.
