Reggie and Teddy aren't just best friends. They’re sloth shifter roommates, smoke-session philosophers, and Moonlight Magic’s resident “refreshments” crew. Life is simple, cartoons, smoke sessions, and devouring the cheesiest pizza in town.
Until they catch Rue sneaking around the studio one night. Turns out the janitor’s been secretly living there since her apartment burned down. When Hector finds out, her cover’s blown, and the guys feel bad enough (and curious enough) to offer her their spare room. What starts as crashing with the stoner duo turns into late-night cartoons, too much smoke, way too much sexual tension, and a bond none of them expected. Because the more time they spend with Rue, the more they realize fate’s got a twisted sense of humor.
Now they’re not just roommates. They’re mates. All three of them.
And if Reggie and Teddy don’t screw this up, Rue might just be the best high of their lives.

Stay for us is book two in the Moonlight Magic Studio Series. It is a standalone but the author recommends reading them in order due to cross over characters. This is a sweet, rom-com shifter romance with themes of grief and a ton of drug use. 18+ Mature Graphic sex scenes.
The Moonlight Magic Studio is back and hot as ever! This time we follow Teddy and Reggie. Two best friends, roommates, stoners, and sloth shape shifters. They don't work in front of the camera, instead, they work behind it. They supply the crew with special refreshments of their liking. Their life is complete until one day they meet Rue.
Rue is the janitor at Moonlight Magic Studio. Her mother used to be before she passed and the boss gave her the job after her mother's death. When her boss, Teddy, and Reggie find her living in the janitor's closet, the boys decide to help her out. They move her into their place until she gets back on her feet. They both didn't anticipate falling for her. Rue also wasn't expecting to fall in love with them both but fate is a son of a bitch.
I had a lot of fun with this one! If you dig found family stories, you'll love this! I enjoyed the stoner talk and truly loved these sloths. I would suggest reading Howl For Me (book 1) first before diving into this one. You'll understand the characters more. This has some delicious sex scenes that will make you squirm. Can't wait for another installment!
When reggie and teddy end up finding the janitors daughter in the storage closet at moonlight magic studios they decide it would be best to take her in, little did they know that they both would fall in love with her and vice versa.
This was such a great time, I absolutely loved all of the stoner commentary and all the jokes laced through the book. The romance was definitely a slow burn for the pacing of the book and could touch on being forced proximity. The characters were done absolutely beautifully and this book was full of so much fun, It was nice to have other characters from the other book in the series making an appearance! Overall this was a really great read and I absolutely loved the relationship they built!!
I absolutely loved Book one in this series ‘Howl For Me’ So I was super excited to get this arc for the second in the series 👏🏼 Erm…Stoner shape shifting Sloths? YES PLEASE 🙏🏼
Reggie & Teddy have been best mates forever, they live together, work together, smoke together & ‘grow’ together 😮💨
Rue is a janitor for the studio, she’s secretly been camping out in the dressing room due to her apartment burning down. After Reggie & Teddy discover her huddled in a corner they offer her the spare room at their place. She’s a bit hesitant at first, she knows these stoner sloths have extra activities outside of the monster studio, but what other choice does she have 🤷🏼♀️
She soon settles in & they make the best trio, it’s like she just belongs with them. It doesn’t take long for her to start looking at them in a different way. They feel it too, would it complicate things? How would it work when there’s 2 of them?
And will she find out if the rumours true about sloths being boring in bed 👀🤭
I loved this soooo much!! The moonlight series is the only monster series that has my heart 😌🫶🏻 I was kinda envious of Rue towards the end 🤣 I always fall in love with Millie’s characters, they’re just so well written 🤎
I really feel like this series would make such a good adults animation series, like Bobs Burgers but with the shape shifters/monsters & moonlight magic studio it would be amazing!!
Thank you so much to Millie Moon for allowing me to ARC again 🥺 I can’t wait to see what’s next in this series!!
Releasing 17th October, get those pre-orders in! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Moonlight Magic Studios is back baby. This time we follow the story of Teddy and Reggie from the first book. They’re the “refreshment” sloth shifting duo. After working a long day they go back to the studio to grab something they’ve forgotten and hear noises that aren’t ghosts.
They call Hector (the studio’s head and demon) to tell him he flys up there and they investigate the noise together and find Rue, the janitor. She’s been living in a closet in the studio since her apartment burned down.
With nowhere to go and not being allowed to stay at the studio any longer, Teddy and Reggie offer her their spare room. She hesitantly accepts. After she moves in things get comfortable and weird at the same time. Will the pot smoking, shape shifting duo win Rue over? Will she leave them forever? Or will they all three live happily ever after?
Millie Moon has quickly became one of my favorite authors. This whole series is the best kid of vibes. I loved Teddy and Reggie from the first book so I was excited for them to get their own installment. You’ll see Cassidy and Johnny from the first one in the book here and there. But this story was just as good as the first one with a different but also the same vibe. I will be glued to her Instagram waiting on news for the next Moonlight Magic Studios installment!
Stay For Us, had me giggling, crying and spiraling from chapter one. I knew this book would ruin me and it did. Not because it’s sad, but because I got way too attached. Teddy and Reggie? My emotional support sloths. Rue? The perfect third wheel in their chaotic chemistry. I love them so much it hurts.
The pacing? Fast. The flirting? Unhinged. The spice? Absolutely spicy. And yes they’re sloths stoners and it works so well I can’t stop smiling. I was lucky enough to ARC read and tried to take my time…… but I devoured it. Millie Moon could write a grocery list and I’d read it.
This is book 2 , and if you haven’t read book 1 fix that immediately! The read this one. Because why not cry over sloths with me. ☺️
book two of the moonlight magic studios if you love: found family why choose forced proximity shifters roomates halloween party with a haunted forest maze and more then this book is for you. millie does such a great job with these stories that has me not wanting to put it down even for a second. the characters are so likeable i found myself wanting to be their friend. the relationship in this book seemed more real because of the connection. the spice was perfect. i guess that whole lighting up after some good $ex is real cuz thats what this book felt like... i hope to read stories of some of the side characters soon. really light fun story
5 ⭐️ “It’s just us. I’ve never been someone who could make one person say, let alone two. So if we’re doing this, it’s only us. That’s my rule.”
I truly enjoyed this book so much, the characters, the relationships. I was laughing, crying, and kicking my feet the entire time! The Sloth shifters was definitely a first, but honestly I think Millie could write anything and i’d DEVOUR it! They’ve easily become one of my favorite authors. This was such a quick and easy read, I can’t wait for book three!
I absolutely recommend not only this book, but also Howl for Me, which is the first book of the series!
I was so excited for Teddy and Reggie to finally get their chance at a happily ever after. This book plays with two fan favorite tropes, forced proximity and fated mates. After a series of unfortunate events, Rue desperately needs a place to stay, and Reggie and Teddy offer up their spare room. From there, the sparks fly.
Rue as the FMC didn’t disappoint. She’s one of those characters you’d love to have as a best friend, grounded but always up for fun. Watching the chemistry unfold while chaos was unleashed at Moonlight Magic Studios had me hanging on through every twist. Plus, I loved how Millie Moon took the entire idea of sloth shifters and turned it on its head… and into the trees.
I can’t wait for the next book and to return to Moonlight Magic Studios.
Smooth. This story was easy going , light and airy. Almost like the perfect hit of the blunt after work. I couldn’t wait for their story and it was so nice being able to get the details. Honestly never thought about a sloth shifter… I’m not mad. We got a little bit of everything within this book and I loved the little mystery/suspense along the way. I also just really really love Hector and I hope you get a story upon him one day. Absolutely love Millie moon and I can’t wait to see what’ll happen next within moonlight magic studio
I truly enjoyed this book so much, the characters, the relationships. I was laughing, crying, the entire time! The Sloth shifters was definitely a first, but honestly absolutly loved it. This was a very sweet romance between two best friends and a co worker.
I absolutely recommend not only this book, but also Howl for Me, which is the first book of the series! It was fun to have other characters from the other book in the series making an appearance! And this was a really great read and I absolutely loved the relationship they built together.
Reading this series is like watching a 90s sitcom, where something is going on but it’s not figured out till the last 5 minutes…it’s so nostalgic.
I enjoy how the characters take their time getting to know each other before going full in. I love this world Millie Moon has created. Keep them coming!!!
I never in my life thought I would be reading a story about stoner sloth shifters, but here we are 🤣 This book made an amazing edition in the Moonlight Magic Studios and I can’t wait to read more from this series!
Imagine moving into an apartment with two stoner sloth shifters, I mean, how fun would that be? Reggie is the more level-headed one, Teddy is the free spirit, and then there’s Rue…the girl who comes in and changes everything.
This book had me giggling and kicking my feet but also blushing at the spicy parts. It’s funny, weirdly wholesome at times, and full of those found-family vibes I love. And honestly, it proves that love really does come in any shape, size, or species (yes, even sloth shifters 😂).
If you like stoner humor, chaos, and some wholesome loving moments than this book is for you
4.5 ⭐️ At first I wasn't sure how I would feel about Stoner shape shifting Sloths but I was captived by the idea of the halloween party with a haunted forest maze. Millie did an amazing job of writing this and keeping the reader hooked to this story and making it impossible to put down. I found The characters to be likable very fast and they had me intrigued from page one to the very end this had me laughing and it was my first time reading sloth shifters but I dont regret it one bit and enjoyed the story. I thought this was a light and sweet read and I had a great time reading this .
