WHAT IF THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN SAVE YOU WAITS IN YOUR DREAMS?
Zane is slipping. The job he chased now feels empty. The love he tried to fix feels far away. Each night he stands on the same silver shore with a woman he does not know, and each morning the city feels a little less real.
Claire is awake when she should be sleeping. She does not speak about the dreams, but they follow her into daylight. She knows the pull of the ocean, the shape of a man she almost remembers, and the fear that she will lose it if she looks straight at it.
Told in both their voices, In Dreams, We Love Again is a tender and haunting story about two people caught between what was and what could be. It is about the way grief hides inside ordinary days, the way love asks for courage, and the quiet moment when the heart remembers before the mind does.
If you have ever woken with a feeling you could not shake, if you believe the past can call you home, this story is for you. Open the book. Step to the shore. And see what waits when you finally listen.
First book for this author. Juggling multiple hats in the writing/editing and publishing, an author can miss a few things. However, I liked this story. Descriptions are vivid. They're easy to visualize as the reader. The story kept me engaged and curious as to how it would end. Zane is an easily understandable character for anyone who has ever become infatuated with something. Park offers a supportive friend and lightens the mood. Claire offers insight into abuse, manipulation, and the struggle to overcome that type of relationship.
