Tales of Mischief & Fuckery

Rate this book
Let's go troping tropily through the tropes! Small town apocalypses? Dystopian billionaires? The fairy mafia? How about shape-shifting hockey players? A Greek god desperately in need of a nanny?

You may ask, "Why?" This series of spicy short stories asks, "Why not?" Why not a mishmash of genres? Why not funny, off-the-wall romance with hot spice and big heart? Why not an unhinged paranormal hockey romp starring the Easter bunny?

Inside this collection, you’ll find fae, vampires, shifters and more getting down and dirty in 12 hilariously raunchy standalone tales, each set during a different holiday in every month of the year.

"Even August?" I hear you asking.

"Yes, friend. Even August."

"But there isn’t even a holiday in Aug-"

"Shh shh shh... Don’t worry about that. You let ME worry about that. Just start reading, and I promise everything will be fine."

Hi! I'm Liz. I'm a writer and off-grid liveaboard sailor. I gallivant about the high seas with my partner and my dog, turning my adventures into speculative fiction.

While I explore the world, my books explore themes adjacent to mental health, the loneliness epidemic, addiction, tech creep, climate change, and the looming collapse of society (but, like...in a fun way.)

When I'm not penning novels about the impending apocalypse, I make money tearing other writers' manuscripts to shreds. Others call this pastime 'editing', and if you're interested, I can do it for you.

On the rare occasion I'm not working, you can find me swimming, complaining about the weather, telling my dog I love her for the bazillionth time today, or watching Taskmaster.

This book was incredibly entertaining! If you love to read smut, this has it all and more! I think my most favourite part of the book is that even with the expectation settings at the beginning of each short story, you are still surprised at what Liz Shipton comes up with! Every story has the most fun surprise in it! I love it! It’s a must read!
