Perhaps the fact that I was forced to read two chapters of this every day for two weeks is tainting my opinion, but this book was so so dull. However, if you like mysteries and want an intermediate level read in french, you might have enough perserverance to get through it.

When I was hella bored by my French class in public HS, my teacher let me read this and discuss it with her a bit just for kicks. Good times.
