This is my review for the entire series. In my OPINION, the series as a whole is only 2 stars.
At first, I gave the author a pass because I thought the juvenile writing was due to this being her debut book, but I was extremely disappointed when I found out it wasn't.
These books are kind of hard to rate because although I did a lot of eye rolling, I was sort of entertained. It was not a terrible book, but it definitely wasn't 5 stars.
Some parts of the storyline faltered big time. The father cut his daughters off, they were working at a diner and strip club, but you wanted us to think that he had his people checking in on them every now and then to make sure they're good?
Then what's up with all of these over horny ass women? Sex after this man pulled you out of the bed at God know what time of night to buy feminine products for another woman? Yeah, no.
The chemistry between the siblings was nonexistent, and I didn't see the charm. I didn't even read the spicy scene(s) because there wasn't much build-up for me to be the least intrigued. I was more interested in the beef between the parents than the love connection.
I hate books that use too many trendy references. "Clock it." "It's giving," etc
Also, why are you giving us play by play of what happened on one page and then repeating it when the characters are discussing it? For example, when Greyson and Legaci had the foreplay in his room, then went to her sister and gave damn near a page and a half of dialogue on what we JUST READ!!!
I hated the way the elders talked. It was very hard for me to believe these people were in their 40s and 50s. They sounded like a bunch of social media reels.
Idk, by the 3rd book, it just became weird asf, and I just stopped reading at 34%
Although I wanted to see how it played out, I just couldn't commit. Not to this or anything else from this author's category.

Karma at its FINEST!!!
Learning you been told lies your entire life hits different and will have your mind thinking 🤔. Knowing that little boy still lives within is scary to the toughest person. Being in love is a different feeling, when you have never experienced it🥰. Let’s chat!!
Grey & Gio only knew the life that their father Saint taught them. However, to learn it was all a lie hit different! See, I NEVER cared for Saint from jump😡. It’s was something that just didn’t sit right with me. Boy was I right 😔. Learning that everything they were told was a lie. Meeting an aunt they never knew or knew anything about hit different. The things they learned had them looking at their father side way and ready to take action😡.. What I loved was their growth and involving all that needed to be involved - Arthur. Learning what they learned from him and him confirming what their aunt said left them speechless. One thing for sure being blood stopped nothing 🫣. The way they moved to rescue Legaci & Lennox was it for me. Not only did they save them, they were able to save a part of them and I loved it🥰. Being their father did not stop what needed to be done and just wasn’t them that needed to finalize the plan. Listen the way they loved on them ladies once they had them was top tier for me🤏🏾. Not only that the way they were able to drop them guards and walls to allow the love was it for me.
Legaci & Lennox relationship was like no other. These sisters loved each other down 🥰, you hear me! They had each other backs and you could tell nothing about it. They were alike but different if that makes sense. My girl Lennox didn’t but her tongue and had them hands and Legaci had a mouth on her but she wore her feelings on her sleeve🫣. Being in a situation they never asked for or expected to be, had them in danger with the hopes of the man they fell for - Grey & Gio to come save them🥰. Ok but learning that apart of the men was there with them, had both of them speechless, lost and confused. After making it out of their situation and learning the truth about their parents, my girls were able to exhale and I loved that for them. A fresh start never hurt no one 🥰. Starting fresh and having their father in life it was they needed. Honestly what lil girl don’t want their father in their life🥰! Finding out that the brother’s feelings were mutual was a start of something neither knew they needed especially Lennox & Gio. Legaci & Grey already knew what they felt for each other, but note they were able to explore it further! The way I loved this for both couples🥹.
Then there Saint! I just didn’t like him 🤣! He lied so much it became his truth. He didn’t know what the truth was anymore. He allowed, greed and power dictate who he was and turn on family😔. Not only did greed & power play apart but did jealous. He couldn’t accept the better man winning. Oh but lying to his sons and taking away apart of them is what broke the bond he thought he would always have😔. Karma had other plans and delivered it like no other. To me honestly, he got all that be detached and by the right one 🥰. As for Kendra and Mina, these ladies brought their own demise. Kendra was hardheaded and thought she could handle a situation on her own. Mina was just money hungry and jealous of Kendra🫣😔.
Listen the way I ate this series down. T. Michelle didn’t disappoint and her pen is heavily slept on. I hope she does do a spinoff as I needed updates on all the couples especially Grey & Legaci.

Forbidden, But Played It Safe
Okay… part 3 definitely went up a notch, no cap. I was here for the reveals and finally getting some real answers. This installment reunited families, exposed long-held secrets, and brushed up against betrayal in a way a forbidden story should. Saint being a man scorned was a switch-up I didn’t expect—when love turns bitter, men move different, and that shift came through.
The Arthur and Vee reveal gagged me for a hot second, but overall the story leaned more controlled than risky. Moments where lines could’ve blurred or choices could’ve cost more often landed on the safer side. Kendra straddling the fence was predictable, and while I’m never mad at a good ending, I wanted to feel more pressure behind the decisions being made. Grey and Gio choosing right made sense and felt earned, even if it softened the tension.
This ultimately lands at a solid three stars for me. The story had sparks, strong emotional beats, and clear character development, but it didn’t fully lean into the danger that could’ve elevated it. The author clearly has talent and a good feel for building connection, and I’d love to see them trust their pen a little more next time and push the boundaries—because the potential is definitely there.

AWESOME READ!!!
First off, I loved the way Giorgio, Arthur and Greyson put their differences aside to team up to take down Saint and get Legaci, Lennox and Gio & Grey’s mom Vee out of that dang on brothel house. Saint was a piece of work. For a man to kidnap his own wife and lock her away from her sons is crazy, toxic, disgusting work. Gio and Grey grew up thinking their mother abandoned them and whole time, she was held against her will. I see why she cheated on Saint for Arthur.
Mina got what she deserved by trying to play with a grown man such as Arthur. Trying to blackmail him was crazy work lmao😂.
Kendra, well I’m glad that heffer got what she deserved to trying to play a man like Saint. Arthur and Kendra’s plan was a scheme cooked up by Todd because they actually thought that man didn’t have the resources to figure out that Kendra old thirsty tail was up to. Nice plan, wrong dude. Kendra should have canceled on Saint like Arthur told her to. Hahaha 😂 now she getting slutted out by Saint.
As for Saint, well let’s just say that every dog got their day, and his day came and ended with a bang🫡

Man I knew Saint was ruthless but to kidnap his wife and have his boys think she abandoned them is crazy. That man was fueled by greed and his pride being hurt. Somehow I knew Kendra was going to be found out, but I didn’t think it would have been by one of Saint’s people. I figured she would have exposed herself but I was wrong. I am glad that Gio and Greyson chose to believe their aunt. Because I think it would have been completely different if they didn’t. Vee was a beast, she took her power back way before she pulled that trigger. This book was so good and I can’t wait for the spin off.

The family dynamic blew me so bad!
Saint is a legit menace! He leads with force, fear, and control. He deserved everything he got at the end of this series, and I was extremely happy with who did the dirty work. She deserved to get justice.
I did not like how the relationship between Greyson and Legaci and Gio and Lennox got together. I know they were just following directions, but after a while with them realizing this was wrong, they should have stood up to their father. I'm glad their maternal Aunt came along and told them the truth.
The last book of the series was action-packed about 50% in. Get into this series!

Ngl I was lil tight that I had to read three books for the span of like 2-3 weeks. If even that. It was fast paced but I believe it’s written day by day. A lot happened in a short period of time. No epilogue but they’ll be a spin-off. It was a good read.

I’m so glad I came across this series! T. Michelle is a great storyteller where this immediately drew me in! Everyone was interwoven and that Saint was so wicked!! The affection and closure was beautiful in this urban saga!

Great Series
That was a great series. Saint was crazy, who kidnapped their wife and hold her hostage because she asked for a divorce. Then he kidnapped Arther’s daughters because of a lie he made up! I’m glad Valerie came out of hiding, and the truth came out and Saint got what he deserved. Actually, everybody did in the end. Awesome Read
