Accidental Theft
PART 1: Shifter/Vampire Serial
Stolen by the Alpha Wolf is a follow on to Chosen by the Vampire Kings. I strongly recommend that you read this 6 part serial first.
The arrogant vampire kings have always proclaimed themselves to be the rulers of all the non-humans making war between the species inevitable. In order to win, it is imperative that the shifters steal the chosen human female. The alpha wolf will take her for himself thus weakening the position of the bastard kings. No heirs means no future for the vampires.
Something Ward didn't bank on was that the yellow bellied elves would turn tail forcing the wolves to flee or face defeat.
In desperation, one of Ward's pack members grabs a female vampire taking her with him to the wolves’ hideout deep in the mountains. The alpha is forced to take responsibility of the female until the dust settles...there are things that she may not find out about the shifters...things that would put them at further disadvantage against the vampires. In a few short days he’ll take her back to Sweetwater himself. It soon becomes clear that being in such close proximity to this refined, delicately beautiful creature is pure torture. A few days suddenly feels like a lifetime. How he longs to be able to get under her skin and make her lose a little bit of that ironclad control she’s so desperate to hold onto. It doesn’t help that some of the shifters want her dead whilst others wouldn’t mind taking her for themselves. Shifter females are in short supply.
Stephany watches her estranged mate being struck with arrow after silver tipped arrow while she is dragged away by one of the enemy. Lance falls to his knees, dying from his wounds, just as Stephany is knocked unconscious. After accidentally mating Lance twenty years ago, she has remained celibate ever since. So long she no longer even craves the touch of another, so long she doesn’t even go into heat anymore. Forced to remain at the alphas side, her resolve is sorely tested. Suddenly she's feeling things she shouldn't be feeling, her own body is betraying her in worst of ways. She needs to stay strong. Especially since Ward is a wolf and she vampire...sworn enemies.

That moment when a book you thought was a standalone...turns out being not only book one of a sister series (where it is recommended you read the other series first, mind you) but a also book one in a six part serial. Lemme repeat that.

Stolen by the Alpha Wolf is a spin-off of the Chosen by the Vampire Kings Serial. Though it's not necessary to read the serial first, I'd strongly recommend it. That being said, I hope there will be more spin-offs as well. I'm very invested in the whole vampire/human mating petition that's troubling the kings, but have all the unmated vamp men salivating;-) *Wink, wink*
As those of us who have read the first serial know, Stephany was abducted - by accident - then returned to her clan, but we know little of what happened to her in captivity as Stephany herself chose to remain silent on the matter.
In Stolen by the Alpha Shifter we get a dual POV; that of Stephany and that of Ward, the Alpha of the werewolf clan. Naturally, his view differs from the truths we've been presented with up until now. Ward sees the vampiric rule as restrictive and chafing and doesn't accept their supremacy. But hurting a female goes against all his instincts, even when said female is his mortal enemy. So instead of disposing of her, he promises her to keep her safe until she can be returned safely to her own kind. In the meantime she must be kept oblivious as to what goe on in his territory. That means keeping her close... at ALL times... ;-)
Ward is actually a nice guy...for a wolf;-) He's down to earth, lives a much simpler life than she's accustomed to, but surprisingly they start to find their differences interesting. Stephany... well, she's got the most enticing fangs, and she keeps flashing them in his direction. What's a wolf to think? In vampiric terms, fang flashing is merely a warning, but to weres, ooooh, boy... To weres it's a sexual invitation;-) The flashing fang incident actually leads to a few amusing encounters between his prisoner and the love starved younger pups in his flock.
The sexual tension was awesome in this installment. You can feel how they're drawn to one-another, despite the fact that the're different species, and that Stephany is already mated. (Albeit accidentally, and the two have been estranged for 20 years.) Will there be a new menage, I wonder?
All I know, is that we are in for a wild ride, because I suspect there is a second accidental mating in progress. Poor Stefany, LOL. (Or not;-))

SO FREAKING FANGGGTASTIC !!!
Accidental Theft is Book One in the new Stolen by the Alpha Wolf Serial by Charlene Hartnady and it is incredible! I love it! Hartnady has once again demonstrated her amazing talent and astounding imagination and given her readers another delicious masterpiece of fantasy and romance. Be still my heart! The story is exciting, powerful, compelling, thrilling, riveting, romantic, sensual, steamy and sexy. The dialog is smart, witty, well written and flows beautifully. The characters are fascinating, captivating and enticing. They jump right off the page and capture your heart! The wolves have launched an attack against the vampire kings, unsuccessfully trying to capture their human queen. Instead, a female vampire was captured but what in claws name was Ward, the wolf Alpha, supposed to do with a female bloodsucker? They were a different species and mortal enemies and he certainly couldn't afford for her to learn their location or their secrets! But the female vampire, Stephany, was so beautiful and so enticing with gorgeous blonde hair, beguiling blue eyes and incredible long legs. Nope, he couldn't go there! So not going to happen! He just had to protect her from his pack until he could get her safely back to her coven. But Ward quickly discovers that his body didn't get that memo! Sparks fly! Attraction builds! Blood burns! Desires ignite! Great balls of fire! So hot! So dreamy! Sigh....... I was turning the pages so fast that my IPad couldn't keep up! Handsome hunky wolves-check! Beautiful female vampire-check! Seriously, I was hunting Amazon like crazy for a good vampire book! Then it dawned on me I hadn't really finished this series. And boy oh boy was I not disappointed! The vampires are awesome and the wolves are alpha. There is something odd going on and my heart shattered along with Stephany as Ward had to leave her! I hope she ends up pregnant. What can I say--it would change EVERYTHING! And let them have their happily ever after.

I won't review the rest of these damn things.... as well as I did with that first hot mess of stupid book. But.... I do have to say that I like this series way much better than the that first round of stupid macho bullshit. Those vampire kings.
And I will say this. BRANT IS A FUCKING DOUCHEBAG OF EPIC PROPORTIONS.
And let me tell you right now. The Dark Lord is none to happy with that motherfucker right now. I don't care that I'm a human, but I would fuck that pretty boy up for what he keeps on doing.

I read the first two sentences and I decided "I'm out." I certainly don't like this author. But I can see why her books are free a lot of the time.

Accidental Theft (Chosen #2A; Stolen by the Alpha Wolf, #1) I am ADDICTED to this series; I can get enough of this paranormal romantic goodness. With alpha males in all shapes and sizes with Ménage à trois, MFM love triangles (eat your heart out), Vampires, Shifters, and Elves. It is Sexy, it is Sizzling, it is smoking Hot, it is Erotic so much so that it jumps right off the pages and leaves you needing a cold shower.
Sassy, headstrong females, and fighting to the death is not uncommon. So, what happens when smoking hot vampires and shifters, mortal enemies want the same thing; this is where things get so interesting, and the fun begins. These men are ruthless, they are vicious, power players, they are violent. There is lots of action, danger and war around every corner but given all that they love fast, they love with their whole heart and make you want to go and find your own.
Charlene has woven a captivating, tangled web of lies, deceit, suspense, drama and love that will leave you breathless. The characters are to die for, and each have their own voice in this series. I love that we get their POV because it makes them more real.
It is not all doom and gloom though there are plenty of witty moments and humour that will have you laughing out loud especially Zane and Becky, they crack me up.

We learn Stephanys story from when she was kidnapped ( she was kidnapped in the former series chosen by the vampire kings #4 and came back in #6 )
It was really great to know what happened to Stephany in all that time she was captured, mostly because when she returned she seemed to depressed
"A definite look of sorrow flashed across her face" from #6 chosen by the vampire kings
I can't wait until to know more! Does love prevail and conquere? Will something happen between Lance and Stephany?

I received this ARC in exchange of an honest review.
Love the beginning to this new installment to this series. The set up for the rest of this serial is pretty awesome. With the way the previous serial ended I would have never guessed that Stephany and the wolf AlPHA got it in. My assumption was that he would somehow take up with Tanya's BFF. Curve ball! I am eagerly awaiting the next installment. So much drama!!!

Short read
For being a short read and a cliffhanger it was amazing. The passion from the characters was on point. Plot and storyline was amazing. I do wish for more background story but I easily overlooked that.
The sex scenes where hot.

Can't help who you love. Ahhhh-mazing!
To get caught up on Stephany's capture was refreshing. Why did she come back so broken and upset? Now we know. Can wolves and vampires be together? Maybe, maybe not.

Love the protagonist Stephanie & her wolf. Great characters & a great "Romeo/Juliet" type plot. Amazing, except be waned it a serial so expect abrupt story endings & long waits.

I enjoyed Stephany and Wards story a lot. I actually enjoyed this book more than I did Brant, Zane and Tanya's. The chemistry between Ward and Stephany was off the charts. I liked that as much as they tried to resist and do what they thought was right, they just could deny their needs and desires. There's suspense, romance, revenge, a possessive and stalker-ish ex and an unexpected surprise. I thought Brant and Zane actions were ridiculous and for the life of my I couldn't understand why they would try to force Stephany to do what they thought was right. I'm glad Ward was there to convince her otherwise because it ended beautifully. The ending for Stepahany and Ward was sweet and ending with a cliffhanger start to Becky and what I think will be Rushe's story. I'm excited to read the next book in this series.

I enjoyed this book a lot more than book 1, the animal shifters seem kinder to the females and don’t take them for granted as there aren’t many females.
I liked her in book 1 and wondered what happened to her when she was taken by the wolves now we know she fell in love with the alpha.
I’m glad her Ex never got her back he didn’t deserve her and I was really hoping someone would kill him!
The human/ vampire queen’s best friend from book 1 was also in this book and she was great! Being a doctor came in handy and she was funny!
Even though this book was also predictable I still really enjoyed it and we all know it was the Elf Prince who came up with the idea to steal the human not the king or wolves.

Wow!! Ward is just perfect for Stephany. She is smart and beautiful and she is the assistant to Brant the Vampire King. Can they stay apart due to different species. They sure are compatible!!!!

This was better than the first storyline line and delved into the universe more and how things work between the shifters, vampires, and humans. Just like the first book some wording is kind of cringe; I know the author was going for something but it didn’t make it.

Such a great read
I delayed reading these serials because I thought they would be cheesy and short. Just how much quality material can you stuff into 100 pgs or less, right? Wow I was wrong. So, so wrong.
You absolutely need to start with " Chosen by the vampire kings " and a word of advice, make sure you have all six books handy or you will not be happy. Each book is just a small portion of the story. Also, each book leaves you with a cliff hanger. So really it is like 1 giant book if you put them together.
Stolen by the alpha is a sub story from Chosen by the vampire kings. This book starts off following a main Character from that series and introduces us to several new people.
I love stephany and I'm so happy to have her story now. This book was written so well in so few pages and I am insanely excited to keep reading this series. I don't want to give away any details but know that once you start the first book you won't stop reading until you've finished the entire series.
The plot is amazing and the sex scenes are perfect and don't over shadow the story line and make it smutty. The characters are written amazingly well and are relatable and likable. The world she has created in this books is fantastical enough to keep us fascinated but not so over the top as to ruin the story.
This author has found a new and devoted follower in me, I can not wait to keep reading.

I've been captured by Charlene's series & the Alpha wolf
Stolen by the Alpha wolf is a continuing story from Chosen by the vampire kings, it follows Stephany' from the time she was taken by a wolf(who were in a war with the vampires at the time) till she was dropped off in Sweetwater to go back to her coven. Stephany stayed with the alpha male Ward, he was angry that one of his own took her and decided to protect, guard and keep her until the war had cooled down and King Brant was no longer out in the woods searching for his assistant and friend.
From the beginning you can tell that both species really doesn't know carp about each other and is confusing to me, why they detest each other. Hopefully that will be cleared up in the books to come. Clearly after the two spend time together you can tell they really enjoy each other's company and quickly are falling for each other. Yes I could already figure out the plot of the first book but I didn't care, I wanted to know what happened to Stephany because she came back to the coven so silently broken. The writer is still telling a very good story with great detailed sex( not trashy, but hot sexy sex
Stolen by the Alpha wolf is a continuing story from Chosen by the vampire kings, it follows Stephany' from the time she was taken by a wolf(who were in a war with the vampires at the time) till she was dropped off in Sweetwater to go back to her coven. Stephany stayed with the alpha male Ward, he was angry that one of his own took her and decided to protect, guard and keep her until the war had cooled down and King Brant was no longer out in the woods searching for his assistant and friend.
From the beginning you can tell that both species really doesn't know carp about each other and is confusing to me, why they detest each other. Hopefully that will be cleared up in the books to come. Clearly after the two spend time together you can tell they really enjoy each other's company and quickly are falling for each other. Yes I could already figure out the plot of the first book but I didn't care, I wanted to know what happened to Stephany because she came back to the coven so silently broken. The writer is still telling a very good story with great detailed sex( not trashy, but hot sexy sex

I received a copy of this book for my honest review.
I love where Charlene took this story! Stephany has always been a strong character and I love that she got her own story told. When Brant's house is under siege she is mistakenly kidnapped by a over eager wolf from Ward's pack that invaded the castle with the elves.She is taken back to pack lands where she is rescued by the alpha himself just in time.
Ward is a sexy, strong and single alpha. He wants to protect her until he can safely see her returned to her own people. But he soon finds out that h is attracted to her on a visceral level! After trying and failing to keep it in check they decide to let their natures take it's course, if only for the time that they have together until she leaves. But they find that the attraction and passion that they share is more than skin deep, much more. But they have to separate as their people are on the brink of war... against each other!
I can not wait to see what the net part brings for these two! I highly recommend this to anyone that loves a little fang and a great read.
