I’ve absolutely loved this story.
Dear...Anybody? was such a nice, funny and law drama read even if I shed some tears this is perfect to make you feel good and pick you up during a stressful and trying time.

Rosa Temple always creates entertaining heroines that will show you their personal growth throughout the book and Sydney was no exception.

I enjoyed so much to follow Sydney’s journey from a carefree and distracted londoner to an attentive and more present woman who will take an active part in her working life and in the life of the small village she will call home for a while.
I’ve found the end a bit rushed and this is for me the only drawback of this novel but maybe it’s my problem because I was enjoying too much these characters and I didn’t want to leave them.

I recommend you to read this story and I bet you won’t regret it.

My Thoughts :
When I saw Rosa Temple had a new book out, I just had to give it a read.
We meet Sydney, from the off I loved this girl, she has an amazing charactor about her and doesnt take any rubbish, watching her grow throughout the book was a delight.
Sydney has it all, that is until she doesnt get the promotion at work and arrives home early to find her boyfriend and friend in a position they shouldnt be. Fleeing to her parents home and hiding out in her old room for a while, Sydney then excepts a job offer in the village of Bridley as an Editor of the village magazine.
Armed with new determination and thoughts to turn her life around Sydney arrives in Bridley, finds a place to live with Carey who she meets and settles into live working on the magazine.
She thinks that 3 months will be long enough to make her mark and then set off back home. As Sydney starts to enjoy village life, the people that live there and also becomes the magazines agony aunt columnist she soon get the hots for the local baker, but is she barking up the wrong tree?!. And will Sydney decide to go home after 3 months or has Bridley stolen her heart!?.
A great, feel good story that has many funny and laugh out loud moments, I really warmed to the other charactors in the book and felt I was in the village watching it all develop.
Would love to see more of Sydney in the future maybe?.
