Haunted houses, snuff films, and witches OH MY! Another delicious anthology created by one of the greats in the community! And what's even better is it's centered around the best holiday of all, Halloween. These anthologies get better and better and the lineup of authors is incredible! This is a must read!

The stories in this anthology are all centered around Halloween, and that's where the similarities end, each story is different, some chilling, some gory, something for everyone...
Each author using their unique voice to induce nightmares and scar your souls...
The illustrations in this book are fire, as always, Shiv catches the essence of each story perfectly!
As always I will write a few words for each story, and my standouts were, ZOMBIE COSTUME, HALLOWEEN TAKEOUT, PAYBACK'S A DEAD BITCH, MAD DOG ELEGY, TRICK, NEED-FIRE and WORM BASTARD. But honestly, it was so hard to choose faves, this is the hardest I've ever found it, because every single story was awesome in its own right!
DEBONING BONNER'S BONER TO BONE BONNIE THE BONEWITCH By Chisto Healy.... Once you wrap your tongue around the title, this is a fast paced story of reincarnation and second chances. Of faith and gender fluidity. Of being one with yourself.
A fun little read with a ton of depth.
DR. BIZARRO'S FACTORY OF FEAR By Harrison Phillips.... Clowns and chainsaws? Yes please! A neighbourly feud, and a home made haunt, make for a grisly tale that escalates quickly and unexpectedly.
This was so much fun!

MAD CANDY By J. Rocky Colavito.... A sweet, fun, fast paced, horrific little story with a not so sweet ending.
THE GREAT PUMPKIN By Matthew Vaughn... Locked in a jail cell, with pretty scary cellmates is bad enough, but there are worse things than that afoot....
Short, sweet and unsettling.

Gripping, tense, graphic, deep and dark. Utterly chilling.
LIGHTS, CAMERA...PUMPKIN! By Marcin Piotrowski.... Marcel is an actor, and hes about to star in his biggest role yet, one thats definitely not for the faint hearted.... and goes from zero to batshit crazy fucked up in no time!
MR. ROTTEN TEETH By Sarah Derosa.... Sibling rivalry, tween bravado, and a legend as terrifying as Candyman. And also, a case of the boy who cried wolf, only with bigger, badder teeth!
This one had me squirming!! Chilling, with a twist.
ATTACK OF THE PEEN-EATING PUMPKINS By Asher Dark.... Written in first person pov, this is a fun, relatable (to a degree), possession story, the most bizarre case of possession I've ever read! 😂 A real pumpkin spiced riot!
TRICK! By RJ Daly… Immediately addictive, engrossing and suspenseful. Daly dangles the proverbial sinister carrot in front of you and holds you mesmerised until the very end.
Eileen is hungry! Starving! Her appetite needs sating and there's only one delicacy that will do.
HAXAN SABBATH By Tom Folske.... Two young girls, on Halloween night, and a shortcut through the woods, what could possibly go wrong?
Fast paced and gory.
NEED-FIRE By Sidney Shiv.... When Stennis' grandfather falls sick, it's down to him to keep the Halloween need-fire tradition.
Always brilliantly descriptive, beautiful prose and with a deeper darker relevant meaning.
HALLOWEEN HEIST By Aaron Lebold.... A meticulous and well oiled plan deviates slightly from the rules, and all hell breaks loose.
Unsettling, creepy.
THE MIDNIGHT WITCH By Rowland Bercy Jr.... A haunted Airbnb, a midnight ritual, and a witch who will grant your desires for you.
An eerie, ominous atmosphere surrounds you. Brutal, gnarly… but be careful what you wish for!

Deboning Bonners boner to bone Bonnie the bone witch Chisto Healy - well that was a strong start! Main man is looking to get his end away and finds his girl in the graveyard, pleasing herself with a human bone. This got wild real quick 😂 however it had a sort of sweet meaning behind the craziness which I loved! Witchy, quirky and a brilliant opening to this antho
Dr Bizarros factory of fear Harrison Phillips - man goes all out for Halloween decoration and his KAREN neighbour tries bursting his balls by getting police involved. It doesn’t work and his event goes on! This took me by surprise. How far Karen went to try get him in trouble was insane but incredibly well thought out
Happy fking Halloween C Extreme - a man keeps having disturbing visions that he can’t seem to shift. How will he cope? Is there an ulterior meaning to these visions? This had a bizarro feel which was new from this author. Pieces together nicely at the end though for a slap to the face twist
Mad candy Rocky Colavito - a mad scientist creates a new sugar free alternative to the standard candy which turns into a menace when it gets a life of its own. This was crazy in the best way! Loved the story and how well I could picture the scenes in my head. Makes me wanna bin all my sweets though 😂
The great pumpkin Matthew Vaughn - a bunch of prisoners are chilling before Halloween night. The newest resident isn’t aware of the great pumpkin so the others fill him in. Little does he know the pumpkin only comes for the worst of the worst criminals. I would have liked to know what the prisoners each done to get themselves landed in prison but otherwise a superb story! Can’t get the sounds out my head though that Matt described overly well
Zombie costume Thomas Stewart - Woman needs a body to live her life. She finds one but that’s not a good fit for her! She is on a mission to find her perfect fit. Will she find it? What a twist on zombie themes! I found this intriguing as to how someone would go about getting a new body and thoroughly enjoyed the setup of this one
Mistress of dolls David L Tamarin Roman Nesnayu - Legend of a woman who steals children and turns them into her pretty dolls. So of course kids will test this out. However the amount of people who experienced this would regret not listening! Love a creepy doll story and this was no different. The edge to this one had me reading until the bitter end
Halloween takeout Shaun Avery - no this isn’t about a takeaway. It’s about a man that misses his ex girlfriend. So to get back at her he finds a way to off as many people close to her as possible. Then leaves a recording for her to discover to explain why. I have no idea why he behaved that way but it made for a good little short so I’m not complaining!
Paybacks a dead bitch Chuck Daniels - corrupt hotel kidnaps women and does unspeakable acts with them. Until one comes back from the dead and gets her revenge. I love a revenge story! This one was a belter and I loved how much fury she had against the men. Saving other women in the process and her little creature she has to help too was adorably ugly
Mad dog Elagy Ash Ericmore - when you see that author you know you are in for a mad one. Dodgy man with his pet dog. Home invasion style. I was a bit baffled as to who the intruder was and what link he had to our weird main character. But the graphic scenes in this made up for that missing puzzle piece
Worm bastard Dan Shrader - a young boy being bullied and he’s sick of it! So he tries a legend he’s heard not thinking much of it. Until it happens and he’s able to get revenge on anyone that ever hurt him. Of course with drugs and alcohol influencing. The end had my gobsmacked can’t lie. Was a big “ohhhhh” moment for me
Lights, camera, pumpkin Marcin Piotrowski - a certain type of film maker has a job to appeal to a certain audience. The victims? Someone that fucked them over. The women at the start of her scenes was not what you would expect from someone about to be in a snuff film which I found hilarious. Love what he did with the woman at the end too.
Mr Rotten teeth Sarah DeRosa - older brother is trying to scare his younger brother and friends with a story. But when it comes to life who will be laughing? This was a fever dream of a short. I was like am I reading this correctly? Is this really happening? But I was there for it! Never knew whether it was real or not
Attack of the peen eating pumpkins Asher Darks - hahahahaha I loved this one! A woman finds talking pumpkins on her tiddies. These pumpkins wanna cause havoc. This had me laughing, gagging, then repeating. One of my faves from this antho
Trick R.J. Daly - everyone knows I’m a huge fan of this man. A witch decides to stay at the home town she is in for one more year of feeding. However can she take on 3 teens to satisfy her hunger? She made a bad move and she knew it. I loved the pacing of this one and the new direction he lead with this tale. The ending was a brutal finale as well
Haxan Sabbath Tom Folske - 2 female besties take a shortcut through the woods to find themselves in an almighty dilemma. Only one walks out alive. 20 years later history repeats itself with the survivors daughter when she goes trick or treating with her friend. The imagery radiating from the witches made me feel sick 🤢
Need fire Sidney Shiv - a young man is left to complete a family transition without his grandad the current year. He takes his girlfriend with him where they get high and drunk and complete the transaction. Sacrificial and bizarre I would label this as. Not in a bad way either. When he finds out what it entails of course he carries it through! Even when he has his own son and tries to encourage him to. Will the chain continue or end with him?
Halloween heist Aaron Lebold - Group of friends perform a simple robbery every Halloween. However when the boss of the group decides to change the plan all hell breaks loose. Each of them suffer a fate by a cloaked figure which may live in my head rent free for a while now thanks 😂 they all got their karma and it was a cool spin on a simple robbery
The midnight witch Rowland Bercy Jr. - Jesus Christ what a story to end on. A trio of friends saw you could hire a hotel near where the midnight witch was buried. If they performed a chant they could request one wish from her. One wishes for an angelic voice. One wants to be desired. Lastly one wishes to be able to eat and eat and keep his physique. But we all know when you dance with the devil you’re gonna get burnt! And that’s exactly what happened. I’ve never read anything by this author and that needs to change. This was ruthless. Relentless. He gave no shits about who he offended and I loved it. This one is trigger galore but utter madness!
Overall I loved this and finished it in under 48 hours. I enjoyed every single story once again. I’m so glad the last sojourns ended with a Halloween special!
