Enemies to Lovers • Grumpy Sunshine • Rockstar Billionaire Nanny Romance

“You’re having a rockstar romance?” my bestie asks when I admit I’ve moved into Cameron Crow’s mansion.

Hardly.

He’s gorgeous, but grumpy. Infuriating. We were enemies from the start. The only reason I stay is the secret baby suddenly dropped into his world.

But the longer I care for his daughter in that sprawling Nantucket estate, the more I see the man behind the legend. Broken. Brilliant. And far too tempting.

Our first kiss is fire. Our second is disaster. And with a powerful enemy watching, one wrong move could ruin us all.

Rockstar Billionaire is a steamy single dad romance featuring enemies-to-lovers banter, forbidden heat, a secret baby, and a swoony found-family happily ever after.

A Forever Love

I am not a hopeless romantic. Not surprisingly, I was reluctant to read Sass Green’s contemporary romance, Billionaire Rockstar. Yet as a seasoned reviewer, I know well enough not to judge any book by my personal preferences. Instead, I should judge Billlonaire Rockstar by how I think the targeted reader might enjoy it, or not. I can honestly say that I believe that fans of the romantic genre will love it.

For one, its plot offers the reader a much-needed escape from the cold realities of modern romance. The two main characters, Cameron, a handsome and brooding rockstar, and Tara, a beautiful and inexperienced young woman, meet and fall instantly in lust. Will they find love, too? You probably know the answer. However, my favorite characters were Posey, the self-possessed and whip-smart four-year-old daughter of Cameron and his adorable dog, Edison. Both are charmingly drawn with wry humor.

Rockstar Billionaire is also well-written with its perfect pacing and its first-person narration that toggles between Cameron and Tara, showing both characters’ thoughts and reactions to the missteps on their road to true romance. Even I can empathize with their struggles and the deep-seated need to find a partner willing to accept them for who they really are. Perhaps books like Billionaire Rockstar will encourage their readers not to give up on their own search for a love that will last forever.

Once again, Sass Green has pulled me into this world she built. I was instantly drawn in, rooting for them to get together and end up together.

The introduction of Posey was surprising but brilliant. She was so full of life and personality. Also, I loved the black lab, Edison.

It's important for me to like the main characters in the books I read and I really did. They don't have to be perfect but written in a way to make them feel real.

A grumpy/sunshine, rock star/fan, nanny/boss, romance.

Billionaire Rockstar or Rockstar Billionaire what’s in a name?

This second steamy romance from author Sass Green is another in the All Access Rockstar series and follows MFC Tara who has the opportunity to get close to her Rock idol MMC Cameron Crow whom she has adored from the age of thirteen.
Working as a “Glasser” picking up used drink glasses in a Manhattan club she is there the night Cameron is in their VIP lounge.
They have two brief interactions that night with a glimmer of the possibility of more.
I enjoy when fate takes over in a story and without fail steps into theirs when Tara gets her tea leaves read on her birthday.
I enjoyed the story which was a nicely written one with drama, angst, surprises, family dynamics, personal vulnerabilities, passion, and emotion.

Vibrant characters, flaws and all keep the narrative sharp and engaging which made the time I spent within the pages a very pleasant one.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Rockstar romance? With Cameron Crow, the world’s hottest frontman?” Tara's bestie demands. “Details, please!”

If only she knew…

He’s not her boyfriend.
He’s Tara's billionaire boss—and the father of the secret baby who just turned her world upside down.

Cameron is moody. Demanding. Gorgeous. And completely off-limits.
But the longer she lives in his sprawling Nantucket estate, the more Tara glimpses the broken man behind the legend.

Their first kiss is pure fire.
Their second? Extreme temptation.

Because falling for him isn’t just forbidden—it’s dangerous.
A powerful enemy is watching, and one wrong move could destroy us both.

***

This spicy rockstar romance can be read as a standalone, or enjoyed as the next addictive book in the All Access Rockstar Romance series after Her Dark Prince.

Rockstar Billionaire is A Steamy Enemies-to-Lovers, Single Dad Nanny Romance Full of Forbidden Temptation by Sass Green.

NYU student Tara Tompson is pursuing a degree in early childhood education while she's also studying opera. To pay the bills she works at Manhattan's Taboo Club as a “glassy” she slips through doors trying to be unseen just to grab the dirty glasses. The club has “Taboo Dolls”, these are the clubs servers.

Rockstar Cameron Crow sits in the VIP lounge. He's the Rockstar that at 13 captured Tara's heart with his songs. Tara slips into the VIP lounge to grab all the empty glasses when she spies a ring on the floor. As she attempts to return the ring back to Cameron, one of the Taboo Dolls tell Tara to just finish grabbing the glasses and get out of the VIP area.

When Tara gets off work, she meets up with Cameron once again in the elevator. She then leaves the club to go and meet up with her friends at Mickey's Deli to celebrate her 21st birthday. Tara is told by a fortune teller that the day is going to come when she's going to be famous and meet her Prince Charming. But the fortune teller warns her that her Prince Charming will love her then go to hating her and then back to hating her again. After the party, Tara is headed to Nantucket for two months where she hopes to earn more tips over the summer.

Tara doesn't realize that Cameron Crow is also at Mickey's Deli, he's sitting at the very same booth that he had been sitting at the day he signed his very first contract with Maxwell Sterling twenty years ago. This has been Cameron's tradition to come back to Mickey's Deli when ever he is back home. His current band mates aren't his original band mates so they don't understand. Cameron and his crew had just completed their world tour and Cameron knew that they'd be starting another one in September. Now Cameron had just two weeks to decide if he wanted to sign a new contract with Maxwell Sterling.

Cameron and Tara end up running into each other once again in the hotel lobby next door. Cameron suddenly kisses her and she's shocked when he calls her Cinderella. A week later, Cameron is off to Nantucket with his lawyer in tow.

What no one knew is that five years ago, Cameron had had a fling with this woman named Alice Abernathy. Alice's family comes from old money and she's rich. When she turned up pregnant and had her daughter Posey, she listed Cameron as the father. Not ready to be a mom, she left her daughter with her parents to raise her daughter and left to travel the world. Sadly, shortly after Alice left, she tragically passed away in Africa.

A week ago, Alice's parents were tragically killed in an accident. Thankfully Posey was at the mansion in Nantucket with just her nanny and her grandparents staff. Cameron's lawyer informs him that he has to get to Nantucket ASAP, do a DNA test with Posey and find out once and for all if she really is his daughter.

I loved reading waiting to see if Cameron and Tara were going to meet again in Nantucket. And I was waiting with baited breath to see if the fortune tellers prediction was going to come true and Tara was truly going to become famous. And then there was the question if Cameron would sign that new contract or not or would he be true to who he really was? Was Posey Cameron's or not? And then there was that intense attraction and chemistry between Cameron and Tara...how was that going to play out in the end?

This is a roller coaster ride that is just wild. I have never read any of Sass Green's other books but I was so hooked by this story that I am going to be checking out her other books. The banter had me laughing over and over again. This is such a spicy hot romance that you can't help but let the good times roll.

Rockstar Billionaire tells the story of a famous musician falling in love with a commoner, someone who is unlikely to cross his circle. Because of some circumstances, she becomes the temporary nanny for the daughter he didn’t know he had. This brings them closer together, even though the chemistry has existed since their first meeting.

This is not my usual genre, but I can see the appeal for a big audience out there. It’s the kind of story that always has its regular patron turning in during daytime TV forever. The author does a good job in making it more believable and relatable. I think the strongest point is the industry dirt behind the glamour, although it wasn’t explored in depth.

This is probably done for the purpose of having a reveal in the end, although, imho, since we are also in Tara’s head, it could be explored more to make it stronger and less contradictory when she admits to Cameron about her inexperience. She indicates that there was nothing traumatic or anything in her past, but the revelation about her criminal record makes this questionable. I understand that bad experiences don’t always leave a trace on what you’ve become, which is fair. However, for something so important, especially when they were worrying about images and everything, it should have crossed her mind. The same with her father’s story. There are some implications about her hard past life, but it was treated as almost insignificant until the revelation. The conflict and everything feel nearly too easy to resolve.

Having said that, it’s also a relief that the story doesn’t involve the usual misunderstanding and miscommunication trope, which I appreciate. The characters are likable, and the chemistry is there.

Fans of romance would enjoy this book.

Sass Green’s Rockstar Billionaire stands out as a contemporary romance. While it is built on the classic rich-versus-poor theme, it offers a compelling and emotional reading experience.

The author presents her characters in a believable and nuanced way, allowing readers to connect with Tara and Cameron through their personalities, fears, and goals. Young Posey and the supporting characters add warmth and color to the story.

Dialogue flows naturally, and the plot is engaging; the book highlights not only romantic tension but also the emotional growth of the characters and the authenticity of their relationships.

With its well-developed characters, heartfelt moments, and smooth storytelling, Rockstar Billionaire is an enjoyable and worthwhile read for fans of contemporary romance.

Ok rockstar romance. Tara meets her idol, rockstar, Cameron just before she leaves for a Summer in Nantucket; she is talked out of spending the night with him by her friends. I liked the way it is almost inevitable that their paths will cross again – especially when Cameron has to step up and be a father to daughter he never knew he had. I enjoyed the development of Tara & Cameron’s romance when she loses her job and becomes nanny to Cameron’s daughter. Fate seems to be determined to divert their course to an HEA, as there are others who do not want to see the couple happy. Whilst I did enjoy this as a romantic read, I felt the characters were a bit two-dimensional and not a lot of depth to the plot development. An ok read.

Cameron is a rockstar who feels lonely even when surrounded by people. One night at a club, Tara—an aspiring opera singer working her way through college—returns something he’s dropped. Their paths cross three times that evening, ending in a brief kiss after Tara’s twenty-first birthday celebration. It feels like fate keeps throwing them together.
Unfortunately, the story just doesn’t flow. Even at 80%, I couldn’t connect with Cameron, Tara, or Posey. Too much time is spent on filler activities—shopping, dining out, hanging with friends—that add nothing to the plot or character development. The biggest letdown is the lack of chemistry between the main couple. The ending was satisfying enough, but overall, this one lands at three stars for me.

I don’t read a ton of romance, but really enjoyed Rockstar Billionaire. Tbh, I expected this to be a predictable love story, but was pleasantly surprised that it turned out to be surprisingly layered and grounded.

The setup could’ve felt a bit cliché (brooding billionaire rock star, a young woman with big dreams, etc), but I have to say: Cameron and Tara feel like actual people, not tropes. You definitely sense their chemistry and the dialogue is solid. Flows naturally, doesn’t drag.

Well done to Sass Green. I’m please to report that I came out feeling genuinely invested in the story line. All in all, it’s a smart, heartfelt story that’s easiest to read.

Rockstar Billionaire is another great story by this talented author. We all enjoy rockstars and billionaires so this story puts that together. It is an emotional and well-written story.

Tara and Cameron were amazing characters who felt very real. They had great chemistry and their emotions were all over the place but in a satisfying way to the reader. Posey was so adorable and Edison the dog helped to steal the story. I look forward to more from this author.

Thank you to the author for an advanced copy for an honest review.

Loved it!

It’s an emotional rollercoaster. They’re in love, they’re out of love, they’re afraid of love! A tantalizing mix of spice and Mary Poppins. The real prize is a little girl and the family they never knew they needed, but secretly wished for. I received a free copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.

A very different romance featuring a gorgeous rock star and a college girl with dreams of becoming an opera singer. Add in the cutest little girl, Posey, and the almost human dog, Edison, and you've got a good story. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
