Rate this book
Deep beneath the waves, a long-awaited war is reaching a boiling point. King Barathamus’s bloodlust has spiraled into a frenzy. When a young Gillan disappears, his armies prepare to strike early, and his own daughter races to stop a massacre.

Sunder’s haven is on the brink of crisis. Gammon is fighting to secure sovereignty before the Gillans attack, but the ruthless Flaye and a cannibal tribe make peace a dangerous gamble. Rhett risks everything for a shot at redemption and a Green Sleeve title, hunting down the rarest and deadliest creature in all of Balor. Rumors swirl about a crowjack killer slaughtering anyone involved in Hudson’s execution, leaving Killian suspect and shunned. And with a deific power manifesting in Raven’s son, the hardened assassin may not be able to protect him much longer.

But the true nightmare still slumbers. And when it wakes, the world will burn.

What a fantastic continuation of the Arms of Malar series! Joshua L. Fordyce knows exactly how to pull readers deep into his world. The plot is gripping, the characters feel so real, and the twists kept me glued to every page. Green Sleeve is filled with emotion, mystery, and powerful writing. I didn’t want it to end a true masterpiece of modern fantasy!
