I started this earlier in the year and only just finished it oops
i think I found it a little too simple for b1 and hence wasn’t inclined to pick it up
but none the less the stories were interesting and it gave me a lot of confidence to know i could fully understand everything

I really enjoy the format. This is the fourth book I’ve read in the series and my only comment is that the stories in this book took a very dark turn.

Best friends dying, orphans failing at life, people being shitty to each other, ungrateful children, dying family members, etc.

I just felt like this was an unnecessarily dark shift for an adapted reading.
