After walking out of a high-stakes band meeting, rock sensation Jax Carter drives until he reaches the end of the map. He lands in Pine Ridge, a picturesque town where no one knows his face. Exhausted, burned out, and pressured to go solo by record executives, Jax checks into The Harmony House B&B under a false name, desperate for a break from the spotlight.
Hallie Morgan has built her peaceful life carefully after escaping the corporate rat race. Her B&B offers sanctuary to weary travelers, and she prides herself on reading people. But the disheveled “Jack Cameron” who appears on her doorstep in the middle of the night isn’t who he claims to be, and her instincts warn her he brings trouble.
As days stretch into weeks, their undeniable attraction grows. In Hallie, Jax finds the first person in years who sees the man behind the rockstar. In Jax, Hallie discovers passion she never expected to feel again.
When photos leak and the media descend on Pine Ridge, their secret haven shatters. Jax must choose between the band counting on him and the woman who helps him hear his own melody. Hallie must decide if loving Jax is worth inviting chaos into her carefully constructed world.
Their love was born in secret. Can it survive the spotlight?
Hidden Harmony is the first full-length novel in the Broken Anthem rockstar romance series. Each book features a different band member’s journey to love while contributing to the band’s overall story.
I really enjoyed the main characters. I wish there had been more of Jax's views but the romance was so nice. Not much of the band playing but the story was original. You have errors in the writing, some repeats and you have the same name for his sister and the girl helping at the B&B.
A beautiful love story about two polar opposite people with very different careers and responsibilities but yet somehow found connection and peace amongst the chaos of their lives. Hallie craved order and Jax thrived in it. Somehow they made it work and brought out the best in each other. Very emotional and beautiful story.
