Read this if you want to murder your perfectionism
I've published three full length novels on KDP so far, so I didn't really learn anything new about the mechanics of indie publishing. But WOW, The Pulp Method has shifted my entire mindset. This book took the little voice in my head that bullies me and frets over perfection out behind the shed for a quick goodbye. Cannot reccomend highly. I'm off to download the next book in the collection!

Quick, Clear, and Useful
This short book boils down one author’s approach to inventing, writing, and publishing pulp style books. He’s taken a few story structure theories and blended them to create a framework for developing punchy novels that tell entertaining stories. (He also includes a framework for writing short stories that appealed to me, and in reviewing one of my favorites/best of the shorts I’ve written, I realized what I wrote lines up pretty much perfectly with the system presented here.) As he says, he’s not looking to write the Great American Novel, but rather build a library of entertaining stories that appeal to a lot of people — and make a bit of money along the way. This book is short and succinct, without fluff or unreasonable promises. This method has worked for the author, and it might work for you, too.

Excellent Resource
I constantly read craft and publishing books. This one popped into my feed and I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. This is a good looking system that I am looking forward to trying.

Impactful.
If you ever dreamed about completing a novel, well then this book is your wake up call. Pick it up, read it, & apply it. You’ll be set to write and more importantly finish your story. 10 out 10.

Solid and practical
Pulp isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s foundational to entertaining story making. All (well most) of my writing heroes are mid-century pulp writers.
