I say this all the time, but it’s true: Nicole Parker’s books have no business being as hot as they are. I went into this 100% expecting to be freaked out and maybe a little bit grossed out, and I was, but….I was also really kind of into it.

I’m not even going to say anything else about this— you just have to read it. You’ll thank me later.

This was adorably amazing.
Balulala may have been forgotten but she is not.
This was tention filled emotion filled.
It had rage it had happiness it had giddiness and a lot of coming together.

Thank you Nicole for the arc and the nightmare inducing ride. This was a real interesting one. Furby and Labubu are stuck in the basement. Labubu ends up killing a guy. They all hook up, Kyle appears dick out and ready.

I’m not sure who I loved more in this one.

Of course Flurbo is one of my favorites… but Boo… she’s a fun and spicy little addition.

At first I was fearful for Flurbo….

Then I was like but wait… why is this so hot?

And then of course Kyle shows up and it’s a party.

I always love seeing familiar characters and meeting new ones!

Once again Author Nicole Parker has me feeling emotional for a dang toy… and I ain’t even mad about it.

Seriously this kinky little toy club is a wild ride!

If you heard about a "haunted" toy shop, would you go in it?
Michaela bites of more than she intended when her loser boyfriend takes her to Hidden Treasures for a spicy good time. Here she finds more than one surprising and sentient toy and more pleasure than he could've offered 😏

Flurbo returns! And Nicole truly means it when she says she's sorry for this 😂 While trying to pacify a Bulala, Michaela walks in the 2 of them in a compromising position. And Boo isn't just cute and cuddly......she also has a bite!

This was such a great and different book as the specials are! With Garrett struggling to keep up with his magic and toys fighting and f*cking, this book takes you on a wild ride. I love when Nicole does the unexpected and it always works! The one message that always proves true for this series is everyone gets cared for and appreciated, poor Boo just needs some extra reassurance so she stops biting 😂 The fiesty nature in her vs. the docile and calm nature of Flurbo make a fantastic contrast!

were back in garret's little shop, the treasure trove, doing his garret things. but he got distracted & left one particular "bulala" vulnerable & misplaced by accident...til michaela & chaaaz(🙄😏) stumbles upon the storage room.

at 1st, i was srsly worried for flurbo (from faulty). i love the big fluffball!! it was like battle of the old school vs new school!! some toy on toy violence goin on... til things got heated👀 not to mention mr funs galore kyle is back😍 so... do i have questions that no sane person should be asking? YES... yes i do!! & should i have found certain 🌶scenes hotter than it should be? ofc i did!! but complaints?? NOT. AT. ALL !!

Welcome to sentient object romances! One of Groan’s favorite genres.

It is not necessary that you know the Kyleverse before reading Bitten, though it is helpful to have read Faulty beforehand, but again not necessary.
We do suggest you read all of Nicole Parker’s works, especially if you are into sentient objects and a whole lot of smut *tongue out*

In bitten we have a Labubu type of character called Bulala. She was made and magic as all things are, duh! However, she gets missed placed and so begins her journey into violence and sex. LOLs we kid…maybe.

In this story two toys fight and given Bulala’s dispotions to violence and lust it turns into a rough play. If you know what we mean, between two toys that are sentient. Eventually they are joined by a human girl and then of course Kyle needs to show up for it to be complete.

Man, we love Kyle *swoon* anyways, they all figure out what’s going on and Bulala will no longer be angry and now has her own place/room and doesn’t seem so violent anymore.

Now, what’s going to happen with Bulala and Furbo we do not know, but hope there is a book two to their raging love. LOLs.

What happens when Garret doesn’t complete a spell and leaves a sentient being alone in a room for months? It comes back with a vengeance! This book had me audibly gasping for Flurbo, like I was genuinely concerned for them for a moment there. I haven’t read a Nicole Parker Halloween special yet so I didn’t know what to expect, I was equally parts shooketh and elated!
There is a happy ending with this book so don’t fret but it does get a little intense there 😅😅 I think this might be stealing my all time favorite slot for Faulty 😅 atleast my beloved Flurbo was still included so I don’t feel so bad for placing their book in second.
Bitten is coming out October 17th and based on the cover alone I think you know exactly what being Nicole made Sentient 🤣 this was so well done and I fucking loved it and cannot wait to read it again!

Bitten by Nicole Parker is a Kyleverse Halloween Special! Flurbo is back, along with a new toy, Bulala. So make sure you pull up your handy dandy Flurbonese dictionary from Nicole’s website! (I 100% pulled the dictionary up as soon as I started this book) I personally loved this story. I really like that even though these books can be standalones, they are still very much interconnected. It makes them so much more enjoyable when characters from other books show up.

I think that this Halloween special was super fun and perfect. Especially with the recent craze that went on about the toys Bulala is based on. Nicole always does a great job at bringing WTF moments to the table. This story did not lack any WTF moments AT ALL. I definitely recommend this short story, especially if you love Halloween and sentient being romances. Or if you just want to read something new that is completely off the wall!

This is a sentient object romance Halloween special novella and is part of the Kyleverse. It can be enjoyed as a standalone. Tropes: Sentient Toys x Humans, Smut > Plot, Magic, Biting, Open Door Spice, 4some, Flavored , F!sting, DP, Fancy Peen, Lots of Happy Endings. This was a 5 star️ 4 chili read for me! What did I just read I'm not mad about it! This is a spin on toy store fun that I've never experienced and if you need a pick-me-up or a WTF - here you go!

When Michaela (FMC) stumbles into a storage closet to hook up with a friend, she wasn't expecting to be abandoned there with sentient toys to keep her company.

Bulala (MSO) is angry that she has been locked in storage since her creation. Pretty soon fighting Flurbo (MSO) turns to f**king and since they are all trapped together in the closet, they may as well make the most of their time. Lucky for them Kyle (MMC) shows up, opens the door, and also join in on the fun!

Ah yes......the creepy Flurbo and now an even creepier Bulala. My favourite 😂😂

Despite these two being the creepiest toys in the collection, Bitten was surprisingly adorable. Though I hope Garrett has some good liability insurance (or Chaz is an absolute moron who should know better and got what he deserved). I kinda like Boo, and sympathised with her a bit. Who wouldn't be a little crazy after being alone in a room for months?

I liked that this time we got to see the toys interacting with each other. And that damn Flurbo.....being able to speak some English all this time and messing with everyone else. Classic Flurbo behaviour lol. But I loved seeing the toys interacting together, and I bet Michaela really loved it too!

Bitten was great! Gave me a lot of new things to think about, and an extra reason to sage my house despite not having a Flurbo or a Bulala.

This was the PERFECT little palate cleanse that I needed. Low angst, high spice MFF sentient object romance set back in the Treasure Trove where Garrett has been working his magic to bring these toys to life.

Balulu may be locked in a basement storage room, but she’s awake, alert and ready for vengeance when Flurby accidentally locks them in with unconscious human Michaela. What starts as an ear-splitting battle quickly becomes something a lot more fun, but just as rough, as our favorite toys channel that energy elsewhere. Michaela and our favorite sweetie Kyle join the fun.

It’s silly and steamy and the perfect escape. Even though it’s short, it’s well built and paced.

This was such a fun and off the wall sentient object romance. Based on the cover, you know the direction this story is heading in but the author did a fab job with the silliness, spice and plot. Going from vengeance and battle to something a lot more fun and spicy, this was a page turner. Expect to feel a wide range of emotions when you dive into this MFF romance, despite it's shorter page count, and you'll get a full reading ride when you do. Good fun!

We read the newest Halloween special as we are making our way through the Kyleverse. A lot of the content in this felt new and unexpected but I don't think it worked unfortunately. There were fun elements and we still had a good laugh whilst reading it together but this was one of the weaker novellas in my opinion.
