She says he’s trying to drive her off a holiday themed cliff.
But when snow starts falling in the city that never sleeps and sparks start flying faster than Santa’s sleigh on espresso, Annie may have to break the most important rule in her company
What a rocking Christmas read should be!! I felt like this book would make for a fun Netflix special for the holidays....it just needs Lindsay Lohan and a rocker guy to star and make it complete!! I have to run back and read the first two books now....loved this one!!
A Rockstar who had a meltdown on stage, leaving his reputation a little tangled and messy, a charming matchmaker without the charm, she is the definition of grinch.
He is immediately intrigued. She is annoyed that she is too. She sets up dates, and he messes them all up.
It's an adorable, quick, bangable i mean...bingeable Christmas love story between Wyatt and Annie..
**Jingle Bell Rock** by Laura Rush is a festive holiday romance that delivers on charm and seasonal cheer but doesn’t quite *wow* all the way through. Set during Christmas in the city, the story follows matchmaker Annie and rockstar Wyatt, whose professional collaboration to repair his image slowly turns into something more as sparks fly amid snow-covered streets and hot cocoa-fuelled movie nights.
One of the book’s biggest strengths is its **light, easygoing tone and holiday atmosphere**. The banter between Annie and Wyatt is often witty and fun, and the Christmas setting — complete with twinkling lights and seasonal traditions — makes it feel like the perfect short read to get into the spirit of the season.
That said, the novella format means some elements feel a bit **underdeveloped**. While the chemistry between the leads is enjoyable, deeper emotional growth or more complex character arcs would have elevated the story. A couple of plot points also rely on familiar romance tropes, making parts of the narrative feel predictable rather than surprising.
Overall, *Jingle Bell Rock* is a **sweet, cozy holiday read** — great for fans of light romances and festive vibes — but it lands squarely in the *good but not great* range rather than being truly unforgettable. If you’re in the mood for something cheerful and easy to breeze through during the holidays, this fits the bill nicely.
Jingle Bell Rock is a great lil novella to get you excited for Christmas. It’s a quick and easy read that has you laughing at moments and then getting serious when needed. It follows Wyatt trying to recover from a very public crash out and finds himself being sent out on “dates” by a matchmaking company. Unfortunately for Wyatt, his attention is instantly drawn to Annie, the one setting up the dates for him. With most novellas, the story is quick and over way too fast but the pacing felt right. You still get to learn and Wyatt and Annie, you get to see their thoughts and feelings and see how they progress through the story. You still get the conflict and the resolution as well as the happy ending that any great romance book has. Whilst I would have killed for more of the story, I still very much enjoyed the novella and am excited to read the rest of them when they come out. As someone who has always said it’s never too early to Christmas books, I absolutely loved Jingle Bell Rock.. and not just because that’s my all time favourite Christmas song 🤩 Jingle Bell Rock is out now and it’s on kindle unlimited so you don’t even have to wait to read it. Honestly you could start right now if you really wanted to (belive me, you do 😉) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jingle Bell Rock is a delightful and heart-warming holiday romance that perfectly captures the magic of Christmas. From the very first chapter, the story sets a cheerful and festive tone, drawing the reader into a world filled with twinkling lights, seasonal charm, and just the right amount of romantic tension.
The writing style is smooth and engaging, making the book an easy and enjoyable read. The plot moves at a pleasant, lively pace, never dragging, and keeps you smiling as the characters navigate their way through holiday surprises, personal discoveries, and of course—love.
Despite its lighthearted nature, the story manages to deliver genuine warmth. The characters feel relatable, their moments together are sweet without being overly sentimental, and the romantic development feels natural and satisfying.
As expected from a great Christmas romance, Jingle Bell Rock wraps up with a feel-good, uplifting ending that leaves you glowing long after you’ve turned the last page. It’s the kind of story that reminds you of everything joyful about the season.
Overall, Jingle Bell Rock is a charming, positive, and fun holiday read—perfect for anyone looking to escape into a festive love story that’s as cozy as a cup of hot chocolate.
Jingle Bell Rock delivers everything I want in a holiday romance and then cranks the volume all the way up. Wyatt, a rockstar trying to recover from a very public unraveling, is desperate for a fresh start. Annie, the matchmaker who’s allergic to joy (and especially to men with guitars), is supposed to help him fix his image, not become part of the problem. But from the moment these two collide, it’s clear that “professional boundaries” are more of a suggestion than a rule.
What follows is a hilarious cascade of failed dates, intentional sabotage, and a spark between them that refuses to stay quiet. Annie’s frosty sarcasm meets Wyatt’s warm, relentless charm in a way that feels electric on every page. Their chemistry isn’t subtle, it’s big, bold, messy, and completely irresistible. And the story balances all the humor and heat with moments of honesty that sneak up on you in the best way.
If you love grumpy/sunshine pairs, holiday hijinks, and characters who fight their feelings like it’s an Olympic sport, this book will be your new seasonal favorite.

Jingle bell rock By: Laura Rush ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️ Rockstar 🎸 Matchmaker 💗 Who falls first Christmas 🎄
This was my first book from Laura Rush and I was NOT disappointed. Annie is my spirit FMC “No, thank you, kind sir. Give me a cozy blanket in my apartment, watching a horror movie every time!” Same girl same! Who doesn’t love a rockstar, Wyatt is just looking for true love, after he had a public meltdown on stage. Annie, a matchmaker with her 5 sisters is suppose to set him up to find someone but…. He falls first and ghosts all the matches as he wants her. Once she falls she talks to her sister and she says “Maybe he’s the exception that makes the rule irrelevant.” Which I fully support. These two are just made for each other.
A favorite Wyatt moment for me “I wink at Annie, and I see her giggle, then give me the middle finger, laughing out loud. I finish with, “Tonight’s for you, Freckles.”” Thank you Laura Rush for this perfectly cute, sweet, emotional Christmas Novella. It’s just what I needed right now. So glad I got a first read of this.
Wyatt Banks is a hot rockstar who is attempting to fix his image and get past a disastrous breakup and meltdown. Annie Harris is well well-known matchmaker who has a list of rules to follow to keep her out of trouble. They are paired to work together to get Wyatt back on the right track; what could go wrong?
Every chance he gets, Wyatt tries to get Annie to break her own rules, and Annie works so hard to not fall for the hot rockstar. Despite her best efforts, Annie starts to fall for Wyatt and vice versa, but Annie's past experience keeps her guarded and reluctant to move forward. None of this stops Wyatt from trying to win her over. Will his charm do it? His amazing smile? His persistence? Or will all of his attempts be for nothing? Will Annie let the walls down and let Wyatt in? Or will she keep following her rules and let this pass her by?
If you are looking for a quick read, this is definitely a good one.
This was my first book by Laura Rush, but definitely not my last! Jingle Bell Rock is a cute, quick holiday novella that delivers all the festive vibes you’d hope for.
Wyatt, a rocker in need of an image refresh after a messy breakup, finds himself paired with Annie, who runs a matchmaking company with her sisters. Annie is supposed to find the perfect match for Wyatt… but the chemistry between them is undeniable. Despite Annie’s rules (born from past heartbreak), she can’t resist the spark she feels with Wyatt.
I loved both characters and their instant attraction. Because it’s such a short novella, there wasn’t much room for deeper relationship growth, and I found myself wishing for more pages to really savor their journey. Still, the story left me smiling and wanting more — a sweet holiday escape that’s perfect for anyone craving a festive, romantic read.
Cute and sweet short story about a troubled rockstar and a spunky, sarcastic woman tasked with helping him find love. Wyatt and Annie’s story is fast-paced but takes you through all of the emotions: from pity for what happened to Wyatt, sadness for what happened in Annie’s past to make her so guarded, curiosity as the two work their way through all of the dates and work Annie sets up for Wyatt, and the humor that comes from the great banter between the two. Heartwarming quick read that brings out hope for the holidays and shows that maybe rules aren’t all their cracked up to be.
Favorite Quotes: “…best terrible idea I’ve ever had.” “Rules are meant to be followed, sure. But sometimes…there’s an exception.” “Freckles, all I want is one chance. You’re safe with me, and I’ll fight anyone who dares to take that.”
Jingle Bell Rock turned out to be a surprisingly heartfelt second-chance romance. Even though I initially questioned Wyatt—because honestly, who buys their girlfriend an apartment, cars, and hands her money like that?—I ended up appreciating the way the story digs into his flaws. Wyatt clearly has some unresolved anger and control issues, but that’s exactly what makes his growth more meaningful.
What I enjoyed most was how the book leans into second chances. Seeing both characters step back, reevaluate what went wrong, and slowly rebuild something healthier added real emotional weight. The holiday setting gives it a warm, cozy glow, and the moments of reflection and forgiveness made the story feel worth sticking with.
Overall, it’s a solid 4-star read—festive, emotional, and reminder that sometimes people really can change when given a second chance.
Jingle Bell Rock by Laura Rush was the exact holiday serotonin boost I needed. If you’re into rockstar romance, Christmas charm, and banter that could power an entire stadium—this book is calling your name.
Wyatt and Annie have that addictive back-and-forth that makes you kick your feet like an unhinged elf. Their chemistry is loud, chaotic, and impossible to look away from. And honestly? Sometimes life has to crash in spectacular fashion just to shove you toward the person you were always meant to collide with.
This story is festive, flirty, funny, and packed with just enough emotional sparkle to make it hit different. Consider this your sign:
Add it to your holiday reading list. Like… yesterday. 🎸🎄✨
Jingle Bell Rock is a cute Christmas romance novella. This is the third book in the Jingle my Bells series but it can be read as a stand alone ( be warned you’ll want to read the other two after reading this book!) Jingle Bell rock is filled with witty, flirty banter from the two loveable characters Annie and Wyatt. If you love a Lindsay Lohan Christmas film then this is the book for you as it gives off all the Lindsay Lohan Christmas vibes. So settle down with a hot chocolate, lots of Christmas treats, pop the Christmas lights on and eat up all the Christmas spirit that this book has to offer.
What a gorgeous Christmas story I absolutely adored this short story set at Christmastime. Bad boy, rockstar Wyatt needs to improve his image and while taking on a matchmaking service he meets Annie who is one of the owners of the business. With both having an electric connection to each other Annie is assigned specifically to match him with other women. How will this pan out? Will Annie be able to set aside the rules she is so rigid about to let the possibility of love into her life? Loved the fast pace of the book and the storyline plus all of the characters. It’s fun, sweet naughty and nice and a delight to read!
This is a cute Christmas novella starring Wyatt and Annie, i haven’t read any of Laura’s work but i will be going back to read the first two, you don’t need to read them though they are interconnected standalones. When Wyatts life turns upside down and he starts spiralling, his PR team steps in and they need to clean up his image, enter Annie and her matchmaking company, put him on a few fake dates, clean up his image and get rewarded by media talking about her company! Amazing! There’s only one rule: Don’t Fall for the Clients!
If you love * Rockstar Romance * Workplace Romance * He Falls First * Little Bit Of Spice
Laura Rush Jingle Bell Rock (Jingle My Bells Series Book 3)
I received an ARC of this ebook. The publish date is November 28th.
He is a rockstar who has a meltdown on stage and complete with guitar smashing. He’s supposed to date the women she picks for him. Instead, he keeps ghosting his matches and showing up at her place for family night movie marathons and a hot chocolate. Ends up missing dates, and she gets annoyed, but it all walks out in the end. Definitely a good read if you want a rocking Christmas.
Jingle Bell Rock is the third book in the Jingle My Bells series and it is an interconnected stand alone. It's cute and a quick read. I thought the characters could do with a bit more flushing out, their back stories are touched on but they really didn't seem to go any where with them. Just wanted a bit more, like when you take a bite of something delicious and are left wanting a larger meal of it instead of a small taste.
Jingle Bell Rock was a funny, reverse grumpy sunshine, Christmas themed novella with a sassy FMC and a surprisingly sweet, misunderstood MMC. I loved the banter and the way Wyatt never gave up on her! I also loved how Annie couldn't resist his silly charm, even though it went against all rules. A quick, sweet Christmas read that I couldn't put down! Thank you Laura Rush for the ARC of this book!
I absolutely loved this book! I’m a big fan of books with playlists at the beginning. The illustrations also helped to immerse myself into the book. Annie and Wyatt both had some hardships. Annie and her sisters run a matchmaking business and Wyatt is a rockstar in need of their services to restore his image. Does he follow with the dates she sets up for him or do they end up breaking the rules of the company to never date the client? You’ll have to read to find out.
A cute and sweet holiday Novella with a hint of spice. Annie is a matchmaker and is very strict about rules, including not dating any of her clients. Wyatt is a rockstar been scored by an ex. In order to help restore his image he goes to Annie and her sister’s to look for help with the push of his bandmates.
Little does he know that his holiday love is not too far away.
A short read, but definitely brings a Hallmark vibes!
I received an early copy of this and thought it was a quick and entertaining read. Some of the interactions felt a bit cheesy and not entirely natural, but Annie’s sarcastic demeanor definitely helped balance that out. I usually prefer more character development in my books, but for something this short I think the author handled the storyline well. Overall, it was a great palette cleanser and I really enjoyed it.
Annie's and Wyatt's story: Both of them are learning how to deal with past trauma the best way they can and learning to overcome their past pain in order to embrace the future. They find their way to each other and with a little help from the important people in their lives, they learn to love themselves and each other. I loved reading Annie's and Wyatt's story.
My first book by this author and she had a hit. Just love Christmas and all this book has to offer. Wyatt and Annie make the cutest couple and the banter between them is so funny. A quick read and HEA in the end. Going back and read the first books.
I received an ARC copy and leaving a voluntarily review.
When rules have kept you safe since something traumatic and life changing happened to you, what happens when a messy musician rolls into your life and makes you want to break them all? Find out in this quick read about Wyatt and Annie!
It was so cute! I enjoyed it and it took me about 30 mins to read! Give this a go!
- He’s a rockstar, she’s a matchmaker. - She’s trying to fix his image, he’s trying to feel normal again. - They both have trauma and help each other through it. - He falls first. She has rules.
This is definitely a cute holiday read if you’re looking for something cute and easy!
3/5 ⭐️’s
Available on Kindle Unlimited and in paperback now!
If you’re looking for a holiday read that you can enjoy out loud and finish quickly, this is the book for you. Both characters are hilarious (I love Wyatt’s sense of humor), and Annie, with her past and inner conflict, is essential to the story’s development. Please read it! I think you’re going to have so much fun.
This Holiday Novella about a Rockstar who needs help from a dating service is the perfect short read to get you into the Holiday spirit. He was betrayed and humiliated, she never should have dated a past client...now they have to decide if the rules are worth breaking? Some spice, but not even HBO level. Under 150 pages makes this the perfect Jumpstart to Holiday reads.
I read this book in 2 hours and it was such a great story that keeps you hooked. Opposites do attract and this story tells you firsthand how it comes together. Wyatt and Annie are just learning to live up to their happiness even if it means going against their beliefs at times. Definitely a great read!
Wyatt and Annie are so perfect together. I wish there had been a bit more with them together, but they are so cute. I love their story. They both were closed up due to their past experiences and relationships. I hate what Rick did to Annie and what Darcy did to Wyatt. I wish I could have seen some type of karma for them both, but their victims being happy is the best revenge.
This book is the perfect Christmas read for those who love to star romances. The story is about a rockstar falling for his matchmaker, after he had a meltdown on stage. It's very contemporary and has a small level of spice. But a sweet story nonetheless.
