A haunted ex. 🏚️ A cursed inn. 💋 One second chance that won’t stay buried.
When Flora Souza returns to town to run her family’s inn, she’s determined to prove she doesn’t need anyone’s help. Least of all Richard Coello’s, the grumpy ex who still knows exactly how to get under her skin.
But the inn’s resident ghost has decided Richard and Flora make the perfect targets. Now the only way to save the inn, and their sanity, is for the two of them to team up, whether they like it or not.
Flora’s sarcastic. Richard’s skeptical. And the ghost refuses to be ignored.
Between small-town gossip, a family curse, and sparks that won’t quit, their reunion is about to get messy… in the funniest, most romantic way possible.
Ex Inn Trouble is a small-town paranormal romcom packed with banter, ghosts, curses, and one very inconvenient ex.
Well butter my biscuit, this one was a hoot and a half! I had such a good time with Ex Inn Trouble. I absolutely adored the ghost Clara. She was just the brightest spot in the whole story, bless her heart. I loved how she tried to figure out the “hypothesis of love.” It was the cutest thing. All the characters were so easy to love, and Richard? That man was pure green flag material. The inn atmosphere was charming and cozy, making the whole book feel like a warm hug with a spooky twist. A solid 4.5 stars from me for this fun, sweet, small town paranormal romcom!
This story was just ok for me. The ghost was all over the place - one minute creating destruction all over the inn, the next helping everyone, the next creating terrible vibes/bad atmosphere for the guests so they left; and then by the end she was happy and stuck around to live in the Inn. And Flora & Richard acted like teenagers - even their friends told them to grow up & resolve the issues. It was just too odd.

What a beautiful story and I never thought that Flora and Richard would see that they really belonged together after five years of separation. Thank goodness for Clara, a ghost, making them see.
