Appa is the internet’s golden girl—polished, adored, always in the spotlight. But beneath the perfection, she craves something darker. Something real.
Robby remembers her from college—the girl he never touched but never forgot. Now, he hides behind the screen as “Rook,” sharing faceless content that leaves millions wanting more... When she accidentally likes one of his videos with her verified account, exposing years of silent obsession, he takes it as a signal. He cuts the power. Slips inside. Grabs her in the dark. She lets him. Again and again. And the more of her he takes, the more she can't breathe without him.
But bruises don’t stay hidden forever. And when their twisted arrangement begins to bleed into Appa’s spotlight, it threatens to unravel everything—his carefully constructed online persona, his family's deeply-rooted legacy, and the real man she was never supposed to see.
A cozy dark romantic comedy—perfect for fans of Lights Out, featuring obsessive tensions, humor, and a love story that refuses to stay light.

I rated this book 3.5 stars. Thank you so much for having me on your arc team 💜 The beginning of the book was fast paced and intriguing I liked how Appa (FMC) is a strong character and the interactions on social media between the two with the banter & online chase and mystery of who Rook (MMC) is kept me reading to find out what happens next I was into it and the story. I found FMCs name interesting and unique and the reason behind it. Other people online were also wondering who MMC was as he always would hide his identity online too when he and FMC interacted as he grabbed a lot of intention with his bad boy posts while social media influencer FMC appeared to be a good girl online. As a strong FMC she was upfront & honest towards MMC when she didn’t want to be intimate & I love how he respected her & listened to her. I would describe this book like Lights Out, but a more cozy & loving vibe & low stakes. The first half is stakes half dark romance & obsessive stalker and the second half more contemporary romance.
At about half way through I felt the plot wasn’t as intriguing as the first half of the plot was already answered at this point as an example MMC left clues of his mysterious identity when his identity was unintentionally revealed by MMC himself FMC didn’t figure these out any of these clues instead he ended up telling her about them all. FMC also barely questioned him after finding out his identity before he explained himself but in general she barely questioned & without spoiling after they spent the night together he had other intentions that would have made any person mad this FMC seemed like it didn’t bother her and they went on to have a normal relationship meeting each others family too. The influencer aspect also seemed to 💀 down a lot from this point the conversation online of people trying to guess who MMC was wasn’t mentioned again. I did like both main characters I think imo if the mystery aspect of MMCs identify was longer and having FMC figure out the clues (chasing him) would have made the story more of a page turner in the second half of the book
Was lucky enough to get an early copy of Come Find Me Tonight and did I devoured it. Loved the pacing and how the main characters were written ! Can’t wait for release date ! I’ll for sure be rereading
spicy mutual st@lking w/ a dash of CNC >>> what happens when you’re an influencer who has it all and the seemingly perfect life but you’re just BORED… and a super hot thirst trap content creator starts some banter… so you banter right back… not realizing he’s been crushing on you for YEARS… and decides to just show up at your house 👀
You get dual POV and an HEA with some steamy cnc >>> read trigger warnings before diving in. If you liked the vibes of lights out … Robby is a total Josh
A big thanks to Caitlin for the opportunity to be apart of her ARC team!
This book was written well, the pacing was a 10/10 for me, and the characters were absolutely enjoyable!
I loved that Robbie was still soft and tender when he needed to be under his masked content creator persona! Dark can’t stay dark forever and I loved the way things were shifted seamlessly and in a way that made sense! I was also thrilled to see that Appa knew when to be fiery and when to cool down the fire!
Overall it fits the description of a well put together dark romance! I highly recommend, but make sure to check trigger warnings
For the size book this is, the author really packed in a bit of everything. It did give similar vibes to some other books, but still had original ideas that I enjoyed. The spicy seasons were well done and timed perfectly throughout the story. Appa was a great FMC and I appreciated the author acknowledging how some of us girls suffer with Aunt Flo once a month. Robby was a decent MMC and I liked watching him grow out of his alter ego and put faith in himself being enough. The quick jump to him wanting to get Appa pregnant was a slight turn off for me, but that's a personal preference of mine, and he wasn't obsessed 24/7 about it. I'm looking forward to reading Enzo's story, I feel like his might be slightly darker than Robby and Appa's story! Also a big thanks to the author for letting me read this early, the writing style was great and the pacing was on point.

Come Find Me Tonight starts off strong with a fun, fast-paced vibe that blends influencer culture, and that addictive rush of first love. Appa and Rook’s banter and cat-and-mouse chemistry had me hooked, and the setup had so much potential!
But around the halfway point the tension just… faded. A lot of the major plot threads wrapped up all at once, and the story shifted into a normal relationship almost immediately. Rook was right on the edge of disappearing after leaving all those clues, and instead Appa discovers his identity and everything settles. Cute? Yes, but it lost the chase I was loving.
There were hints at deeper conflicts his roommate’s death, Appa’s family, the attempted assault, the influencer scandal but none of them really went anywhere. The influencer angle especially fizzled out when it could’ve added more drama.
I did enjoy the book overall: the characters are likable, the chemistry is solid, and the first half is genuinely fun. I just wish things hadn’t resolved quite so fast. I’ll definitely read the second book, and I’m hoping all those loose plot points finally get their moment there

THIS BOOK STARTED SOOO STRONG! I loved the whole first half of it. Robby met Appa in college and had one conversation with her, but never forgot her. They both went on to finish college and become social media influencers. In the beginning Robby or his persona Rook, is everything you want in a stalker romance book. He uses his background to break into her house and they have a whole relationship before Appa knew who he was. When she figures out his identity Robby goes from german shepherd to chihuahua. From "I am going to take what I want" to "I think you should meet my mom"
I did love their relationship as it progressed to forever, but I did feel that they got there very quickly. This was a fun quick read that i would reccommend to someone that is looking to start reading dark romance. I loved ROOK but I dont think Robby is for me.
I loved this book! I was able to read Come Find Me Tonight a bit early and it sucked me in from the beginning. This was my first time reading a stalker romance and I really enjoyed it. The characters are lovable and you can’t help but want them together. Not overly smutty but just the right amount of spice. Caitlin had me rooting for Rook and let’s just say ****** for THREE HOURS? Okay Rook!!! Very excited for the next book in the series.

Appa is a social media influencer and is attracted to rook (Robby) who’s also an influencer. She doesn’t know that Rook(Robby) is the guy from college who stopped her at a college party and told her to go home. I loved how they finally got together and the chemistry between was *chefs kiss* I love how rook/robby was protective and caring for Appa and treats her right Everything about this book was just perfect
Come Find Me Tonight hooked me from page one and refused to let go. This story is atmospheric, romantic, and just the right amount of emotionally tense. The chemistry between the characters is electric, the longing is delicious, and the pacing keeps you flipping pages way past when you meant to stop. It’s one of those books that wraps around you—moody, intimate, and beautifully written—leaving you thinking about the characters long after you’re done. A perfect blend of tension, heart, and heat. Absolutely loved it.
This book was fantastic! I went into this blind because I absolutely loved Almost Royalty, but to be honest, I didn't have high hopes once I realized it was a dark romance. I was very rapidly proven wrong. This book blew my mind, and I can't wait for the next book!
Rook was such a good character but I wish he didn’t fade out as early as he did! I especially liked the split personality vibe this book gave off between him & Robby. I did think there was going to be some like intense plot twist with Robby’s past (his roommate overdosing) since it kept resurfacing. Overall I really enjoyed this book & will definitely be reading the next one!

Ohhhhhh myyyyyy Goddddd! I loved everything about this book! Appa and Robby are fire 🔥 The things I loved about Come Find Me Tonight- the pace of the story, how obsessed Appa and Robby were with each other, the spice, the love I could feel through the pages, Robby's family, LOVED the long epilogue chapters! I really appreciate when I feel like the book has some closure to it even though there is more in book 2. I couldn't put it down. Neglected my cleaning and laundry to read this book today! I can't wait to read more Caitlin Rose books!
Book Review Come Find Me Tonight By @caitlinrose.writes Five Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Holy crap! I absolutely loved this book! It was my first book by Caitlin Rose and it was incredible! Appa & Robby were such fun characters to read, both unique which made them interesting & man they were super steamy together!! I loved how their relationship bloomed after Appa found out who Rook was! And that ending! I absolutely loved how Appa & Robbys book ended!!!
Appa is an influenser, you know the ”get ready with me” girl.
and Rook/Robby, also a kind of influenser… let’s say.. he get a lot of attention if you know what I mean.
Appa and Robby met each other at a party during college, he basically told her to go home, and that was it. But they can’t stop thinking about each other.
Fast forward a few years, Appa can’t wait for every new video from the mysterious Rook. What happens when she accidentally likes his newest video from her influenser account?
This book was truly amazing. I loved every second of it, just… wow. I just can’t do it justice.. it’s just that good. You should totally add it to your TBR!
This was such a quick, fun, spicy time! I absolutely LOVE a golden retriever stalker situation. Rook gave us just that. If you loved Lights Out, you’ll enjoy this :)
This is a fantastic story! I was completely invested in the characters, Appa and Robby. I also love the odd combination of it being a dark-romcom. It just works. I love a st@lker MMC who is completely obsessed with the FMC. Robby is that guy. Their flirtations were fun, and the steamy scenes good. I loved that they were both Internet st@lking each other. And when he comes to find her, things get really good! Highly recommend checking this one out and can't wait to read more of this author.
For an author who claims she isn't a dark romance writer, this satisfied every itch for something darker. It's not as dark as books like Haunting Adeline or Butcher and Blackbird, but it's very comparable to Lights Out! Some parts had me on the edge of my seat, but overall it left me feeling warm and fuzzy. Can't wait for the second book!
If you love a well placed story with well written characters that draw you in, then this story is for you.
Because if the steamy spicy scenes don’t draw you in alongside our characters who have a penchant for stalking one another then throw CNC into the mix, you’ll find a bored influencer, who for all intents and purposes has a seemingly perfect life, but is looking for more.
And the banter, setting up a super hot thirst trap for the content creator just so you can talk to them is next level, not until you realise he’s had feelings for you for years, and without so much as an invite just shows up a your house, like that’s not creepy at all.
At least these two characters get a well deserved HEA.
Highly recommend both the author and the book.
I received an ARC. Therefore I am submitting a voluntary review.
I was selected as an arc reader and this book was alright not my favorite but the spice and tension and fluff was good ugh especially loved the trope where they both are famous one is an influencer and the other does thirst traps and other things along that line.
READ THIS IF YOU LOVE: ❤️ Dark Rom-Coms ❤️ Strangers-to-Lovers ❤️ Emotionally Layered Characters ❤️ Slow Burn ❤️ Lights Out/Stalker MMC
REVIEW: I loved Robby and Appa so, so much. Their struggles felt incredibly real and authentic, and their story unfolded like an onion with so many emotional layers. The overall tone was intimate and atmospheric, pulling me into a world that felt both tender and raw…which is wild for a dark rom-com, but completely true here.
The pacing naturally unfolded without ever feeling rushed, really shining in the quieter, introspective moments. The spice level is moderate 🌶️, leaning more toward sensual and emotional connection than explicit scenes. A solid pick for fans of soft, character-driven romance.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Come Find Me Tonight is seductive, disturbing, and completely addictive! I really couldn't put it down! Appa is the internet’s golden girl—perfectly polished, endlessly adored—but beneath the gloss is a hunger for something real. Something dangerous. When a single accidental like exposes years of silent obsession, the line between fantasy and reality vanishes. This story has you in a choke hold!
Robby—hidden behind the faceless persona of Rook—isn’t just watching from the shadows. He’s waiting. And when he steps out of the screen and into her dark, controlled world, the power dynamic becomes as intoxicating as it is unsettling. Robby is deliciously dark and makes you turn red flags to green!
This story thrives in obsession, secrecy, and control. It’s not a romance wrapped in a bow—it’s raw, uncomfortable, and intentionally messy. The chemistry is intense, the voyeuristic tension is palpable, and the exploration of online identity vs. real intimacy feels chillingly relevant.
Not for the faint of heart—but if you like your dark romance unfiltered, morally gray, and psychologically charged, this one will linger long after the last page.

This was my second stalker-style read, and overall I really enjoyed the concept of Come Find Me.
The storyline was engaging, the use of modern technology and social media felt relevant and unsettling in the right ways, and the pacing was fast, the story covers a lot of ground and keeps things moving from start to finish.
For me personally, I would have loved more depth in the character bonds and emotional connection. I’m a sucker for really sinking into the characters’ emotions and relationships, and I wanted just a little more time there. That said, I completely understand how challenging that can be in a fast-paced story that’s doing so much and many readers will absolutely love the momentum and intensity as it is.
If you enjoy stalker romances, modern tech elements, social media twists, and stories that don’t slow down, this one is definitely worth checking out.
Thank you so much, Caitlin, for letting me be part of your ARC team.
Come Find Me Tonight is a short and sweet read. You’ll laugh a little and feel the warmth these character will bring to your heart. If you’re just starting to dip your toes into the dark romance world, this one is for you. Please still check for possible triggers.
The book started off with themes typically found in dark romances like stalking, a masked man and some forced proximity which I loved!
The FMC is a social media influencer who is obsessed with the MMCs thirst trap videos. However, the MMC shares the same thoughts when it comes to her page. They interact back and forth with some witty banter that’ll make you gasp until he shows up in her house for surprise visits. The spice didn’t over crowd the storyline, I rate it a good 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 on the spice scale.
Towards the middle of the story it became more of a contemporary romance in my opinion, and the MMC made a few unwise choices that I didn’t enjoy as much.
I'm going to try to keep spoilers out of this but if you're interested in coming over to the dark romance side but don't know where to start - this is it! Is it dark? not really but an intro into it. I love how the FMC and MMC are. Most books have their main characters too much of something but here they were normal - for the most part. Did I fall in love with Robby? Yes! He was two sides of the same coin but only one side was the real him. Would I have asked more questions about how if I was Appa? ABSOLUTELY!!!!! but overall this was a nice read and I love the intro for the next character book.
Loved this read! It was fast paced and I loved how the characters were written!! This is a mutual stalking, spicy read with some steamy CNC and a HEA!!! Totally recommend this read!!! Robbie totally reminds me of Josh from Lights out, so if you loved that book, this read is for you too!!!
Make sure to check out the trigger warnings before reading it!!!
3.5⭐️ rounded up to 4. I thought the plot of this book was really interesting. The story drew me in right away, and the first half of the book flowed really well. I thought the scenes with Robby acting as Rook were a little awkward, but that may have been intentional to show that Rook was just a persona and not Robby’s true character. I agree with several other reviewers that I would have liked the mystery of Rook’s identity to play out a little longer. I was excited when he was going to leave the photo with his goodbye and then the roles would reverse and Appa would be the one trying to find him. I was disappointed when he ended up staying all night, and she discovered who he was the next day. I feel like they fell into a normal relationship too easily after everything that transpired. I actually really liked the two main characters up to a certain point. I started to not like Robby as much after the breeding kink started. No judgement to anyone that enjoys that, but I have discovered that just isn’t for me. I felt like he really betrayed Appa’s trust at one point, and I just couldn’t look past that going forward. Overall, this was an interesting story that kept my attention. I thought the concept of two influencers becoming involved was very unique and relevant. Be sure to ready the content warnings before diving in! I received an ARC of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I honestly enjoyed this book. What girl hasn’t dreamed that the hot guy you see on the internet has eyes for only you. I enjoyed the pace of this book and how the characters relationship developed during the book. I can’t wait for the next book in series because the cousin of the MMC was a great side character.
Listen… I opened my kindle expecting ... “internet drama with a side of romance,” and instead it grabbed me by the throat, unplugged the lights, and whispered, “keep reading.”
Appa, the flawless golden girl with a shadow craving chaos? Obsessed. Rook, the faceless menace with college-era longing and a camera roll full of red flags? Also obsessed. Me? Fully invested like I was binge-watching a toxic situationship unfold through slightly-shaky CCTV footage.
This story is dark, messy, magnetic .... like watching two stars crash just to see what new constellation forms out of the debris. I kept muttering “girl, RUN… but also don’t stop, because I need to know what happens next.”
Perfect for anyone who loves their romance morally gray, neon-lit, and a little feral around the edges.
Come find me tonight is fast paced and easy quick read you are pulled in fast by the influencer you see in today’s social media. It grabs your attention. With a stalker vibe and a truely caring side the mmc has to struggle through who he is on line with who is in real life the fmc sweet and innocent once has darker desires. Come find me tonight is such a fun well written book perfect for a little spice up between those bigger book.
