What a sequel!!! I went into this book just hoping for some answers from the cliffhanger in book 1 & it did not disappoint! The pacing of this book was so quick. I didn’t feel it lull at all which is exactly what I want in a thriller. Every time I felt like I knew which direction the story was going, another twist popped up! I was shocked multiple times. I do recommend reading The 43rd Floor prior to this one, as it is a true sequel & you will be confused otherwise. Overall, I would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves thrillers, especially white collar/mob related crimes.

This was a strong sequel in the Thomas White series, it had that feel that I was looking for and enjoyed how it improved on the previous entry. The characters were everything that I was looking for and was invested in what was going on and was hooked from the first page. I enjoyed the way David Michael Lifsitz writes a strong story and thought the character development worked in this story.

This sequel did not disappoint!! I enjoyed the character development and the author vividly set the scenes on Aquidneck Island, I felt like I was right back there. The story continues to be engaging and with surprises! I’m looking forward to the final book of the trilogy…I need to know what happens next.

I don't know if I would have been as forgiving as Thomas. There was just so much ....too many lies. I wouldn't be able to trust anyone after all that. This had me torn. Then the ending...that was crazy. Overall, it was good. Just little stuff that was off for me. But I think it's going to be one others will like.
