A Wickedly Perfect Finale

Besties… "Wicked Ends" had me clutching my Kindle in the best way! As the grand finale to the Serpentine Academy trilogy, Rowan Shane delivers darkness, heartbreak, and fierce loyalty with every page. Rose faces betrayal and chaos while an unexpected enemy twists the academy into a playground of cruelty. Her bonds with Ash, Lucien, Soren, and Drake? Intense, primal, and the only thing keeping her from shattering. Ash’s shadowy protection, Lucien’s control, Soren’s charm, and Drake’s fading presence had my emotions in a chokehold. Expect tragic ghosts, stern vampires, wicked demons, and one witch refusing to break. The found family vibes are strong, the passion is lethal, and the ending? Everything. If you love dark romantasy with multiple morally gray love interests, OMG besties… you have to read this.

Overall, this was a very entertaining trilogy to read! I really enjoyed. Lot of the characters, mainly the FMC - Rose, the gentleman vampire - Lucien, and the mischievous incubus - Soren. Drake, aka ghost boy, and Ash were just kinda “okay” to me, but I felt like they needed something extra, especially Ash.

My personal thoughts, I thought the climactic scene in the finale was a bit lack lustre. Tbh I was expecting a bit more from it (like come on Rose, let’s kick some ass, girl). It being interrupted by the original professor, just when things were getting dire - I was disappointed… I wanted payback for the ear lick LOL. I also was kinda confused by Drake’s situation improving, I felt like there wasn’t a distinct reason as to why his situation got better - just that it was chalked up to Rose being powerful? (If I’m not mistaken…)

Loved Hank 🐸

I actually loved the moment (iykyk) with Thorne towards the end - I love a good character arc.

Wicked Ends – 4/5 Stars

First of all: Hank.
Still iconic. Still carrying the plot on his metaphorical back. At this point, he deserves his own novella, a shrine, and probably a reality show.

The spice?
Lets just say my Kindle started giving me side-eye 😉

Smash or Pass – Book 3 Edition:
Ash – Smash. Forever smash. Bus Man has graduated to Limousine Man because the luxury is immaculate iykyk. 

Soren – Smash, but with conditions. Like “yes, but only if he promises not to emotionally whiplash me again.”

Lucien – Still… hmm. A hesitant smash? A supervised smash? Jury’s out.

Drake – Hardest SMASH known to mankind. My ghost boy has ascended to full-blown corporeal menace and I’m obsessed.

In conclusion: chaos, heat, emotional damage, Hank supremacy. Book 3 delivered - well done and thank you Rowan Shane this series was great to read.

Wow. Just wow. I definitely did not expect the twists and turns and appetites that came from this book. I loved it. It was the perfect book to finish the trilogy. It filled in all the gaps, truths came out, and the spice was amped up. The spice was a slow build throughout the book but was paced how it should be with the way the characters grew not only into themselves but their relationship together and separately. The ending was perfect. It followed a normal progression of things and fit right into place. This series was amazing and I will 100% recommend it.

This conclusion was everything that it should have been. Lots of conflict and passion. Every question was answered. I’m delighted with this trilogy.
