The first book I read solo, circa 1988.

oaky will lean more towards the 3.5 stars to be honest. I do not know really what to day since I am reading this as a adult and not a child. But I didn't enjoy the first 2 stories. I enjoyed more The Lion and The mouse book more and I enjoyed The Gingerbread Boy more then the first part of the book.

Grade school reading book. I remember the ecstasy of reading such long words myself!!
