Some love stories are worth the wait. This one's worth everything.
Taylor Knox writes emotionally rich MM romance about the men who risk everything—on the job and in love. Set in the world of firefighters, EMTs, and those who love them, her stories blend high-stakes action with slow-burning chemistry, deep vulnerability, and the kind of found family that heals old wounds.
She’s fascinated by the contrast between strength and softness, tradition and transformation—and her characters always face more than just fire. Whether it’s a rookie trying to prove himself or a battle-hardened captain learning to open his heart again, Taylor’s romances deliver intensity, tenderness, and hard-earned happy endings.
When she’s not writing about men falling in love against the odds, she’s drinking too much coffee, falling for fictional crushes, and pretending her search history is all for “research.”
When they're face to face again several years later their painful past comes roaring back. Both Julian and Cassian are attending a wedding and awkward is the word of the day. But aside from that they also feel something else. (not that!!) It's a shortish, angsty tale but a rather touching read.
Continuity issues, changing story line, repetition including seeing him come out of the bathroom for the first time twice. Not sure a real person wrote this.
Julian and Cassian were both so great, and I died over the fact that they had both been in love with each other this whole time and kept reading one another wrong. I died over how Cassian offered Julian to stay with him when his hotel room was no longer an option and how the two of them finally talked about what was going on between them and got together. They were so great and this was another fun and super quick read!
